I don’t think people understand that there’s no such thing as freedom. No one is free, everyone is enslaved to something. You just have to be smart about what you enslave yourself to. The worst and most dangerous is the one who enslaved themselves to their desires all the time. To be truly free is to submit your soul to God only then can you find the freedom from the heartaches and depression of life.

I have lived in Egypt (a developing country) for 25 years and then in Germany for the past 7 years.. Germany is technologically light years ahead of Egypt, yet I witnessed way many more depressed people in Germany than in Egypt although they have every convenience right at their fingertips! A ton of people (young, mid-age and old) are on Citalopram (antidepressant), others suddenly commit suicide! On the other hand I found a ton of people in Egypt that are poorer, yet surprisingly happier! And every time you ask anyone how they are they respond: Alhamdulellah (I’m doing good thank Allah), no matter how many problems they have because they have a very strong faith in Allah, their creator and through Islam they learned there’s always hope, for Allah is soo merciful to humans, he will forgive them if they ask him forgiveness. All humans are equal according to the holy Quran and the only definition of excellence between them is how close they are to Allah.
100% so! I've lived in South Africa, Mauritius, UAE, UK and the happiest people were in the first 2 countries, even in the midst of entrenched poverty and deprivation. People's ascribed value to community, family, nature, ancestral learning, simplicity of living was higher and more self rewarding. The latter two societies have higher mental health issues even in the presence of religion, simply from living life in the fast lane, competing for luxury and money, foregoing simplicity of living and turning a blind eye to the actual real purpose of life.

Starting off with an aim to understand the present, the modern human condition that is built and tunnelled into a dystopian future couldn't be any better on point. Also, the presence of shackles in the forms of continuous institutionalization around the 'modern man' at all walks of life was perfectly relayed.

I'm a single mother on one and dying alone in my apartment is one of my biggest fears😥 I hope to be able move out of the huge metropolis of London to live in the countryside away from all this materialism because it is making me sick. But for now I am stuck. May Allah cure humanity and help us wake up to live real fulfilled lives and unchain ourselves from government institutions.

The whole field is base on servicing people to work through their Social determinants of health barriers by linking people to the same system and institution as the only solution to their Barrie's.
