Watched them all and thoroughly enjoyed your journey! Congrats on building a nice boat.

I have a lot of great ideas for building my own Trimaran... fine- tuned ideas from many hours of " couch sailing "
    Lol 😆 🤣 🌞🌴⛵

Cool video! From above is neat. I wonder if you could get the camera out behind the boat, so we could better see what you're doing with the lines and how the boat sails. Thank you for sharing!

Amazing job Emily, I built a piccup pram and I've never sailed and these last two videos have given me more instruction on sailing a balanced lug sail than anything I've found. Thank you so much and if you know of any other instructional videos, could you let me know please, smooth sailing young lady. I call you that because I'm 70 years old.

Get out there on a mellow day and point it in any direction but into the wind.
Pull the sheet and you will move.
A little boat like this is like learning to walk and you can't get into too much trouble. The feedback is quick, you will learn fast and fail a lot. Just like a kid learning to walk.

Have you done a review of any 360 cameras? You are using the Insta 360, do you think it is the best 360 camera right now?

    • @EmilyAndClark

We really like it and have recently upgraded to their latest offering (due to dropping our last one at the Grand Canyon).
I chose it as it seemed the best for our needs but I really don't have any personal experience with others.

@@EmilyAndClark Thanks for the info. The GoPro max was ahead of it's time when it came out, I wonder if they will be updating it soon. I might wait and see what happens. Reviews of the insta definitely seems to put it ahead of the GoPro now

9 foot pole tapped to the front side of the mast.

Kinda looks like a drone right?

@@EmilyAndClark It kinda looked like it was on the mast but I could not tell for sure and how far up. Thanks.

@@EmilyAndClark Yes it does. Is it easy to make a video from the 360 camera?

    • @EmilyAndClark
      @EmilyAndClark  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Yes very. We used it a lot in the TlaHla video as well with a very different effect.
By the way the gaff isn't pumping it's the camera whipping on it's slender pole.
