I owned a Pretorien 35 for years. She was a 1984...put thousands of open ocean miles on her. Lived on her in fact. A beautiful, strong and sea kindly boat. Be sure the engine mount boats are sound. Sail drives leave a big hole of the mounts go. Many many miles is a Pretorien.
It's awesome that y'all had the balls to go forward after seeing how clueless you were. Kidding, not kidding. Imagine looking for a new boat now, doubt you would care about half the crap you're pointing out. Fair winds my friends
Omg, I know ugg it's so cringe to post but we have come so far since then. Really the older footage is easier to post because I'm less identified to the mistakes. We want to be honest and real with our vids. No facades just people being humans on a boat.
We looked at three. I just found footage that should have been in this episode we talk for about five minutes on all the reasons it was the boat for us. We settled for something else. (;
Did you end up getting this boat? I remember seeing it during covid. I think it had some damage at one point when another boat fell on it or something.
Great boat: I own one. But you need to keep on top of maintenance. This one looks tired and will require a good measure of TLC. GOD LUCK and safe winds.
Good to see how far you've come! Keep the videos coming. I appreciate that you share how naive we all can be at times.
Thats for all yout loving support on shore and off.
Its really cool how open and honest they are on camera that's not easy.

Always more to learn!.
You don't know, what you don't know!
Oh how much we learned since then!
I kmkw right!
Keep going!
The line in the keel is nothing to worry about very common on bolt on keels. My C&C had the same look.
Yes! I have learned allot about keel joints since. As I end up doing the keel joint on the boat we end up buying anyway. haha.
Agreed fairing compound or 5200 would do it. Unless maybe you see a ton of rust water pour out after a haul out. Other wise don't sweat it.
I recently purchased Belum, Pretorien in Oxford, MD. Great dream boat, very well built, gaining cult status.

The one that got away.
We should have at least put in a low offer!
Some times its just not meant to be because something better comes along.
Thanks for great video.
