Which VILLAIN is LEAST likely? | THE MULTIVERSUS LIVING ROSTER EPISODE 1

- Here we go! The first episode of the new MultiVersus Living Roster! Today we talk about Aku, Spinel, The Wicked Witch, Beetle Juice and Darkseid!

The Warner Bros. game has a massive cast of amazing characters that pull from multiple IPs. The goal of the Living Roster is to take into account as much information as is out there about the roster as it stands, listen to interviews from the developers, read and interpret tweets and look for even the most subtle clues so that we can build a prediction for what the roster will look like when they finally finish releasing characters.
It requires a lot of speculation but we do so with the most educated perspective we can have. I make it exceedingly clear that this is NOT a wishlist but is instead a well thought out prediction.
With all this in mind, I will provide you all with options every episode for what characters you think are most likely to make into the roster of MultiVersus and then I put it to a vote. You guys, the community on this channel, will have the final say as to what this Living Roster looks like at the very end.

Spinel is one I'd love to see in the game. Her personality is captivating. The only issue I see is that it might be too similar to Jake, but they could make up with the scythe.
Honestly, I see Darkseid as least likely because we already got a DC villain this season (Joker) so I think they’d go with non DC villains for the first season.
As a Steven Universe fan and Spinel fan, her stretching ability is one aspect of her, but can also morph her body in different ways, flatten herself to the ground and slink around, she had a scythe that she was well versed in using so that can be part of her moveset (she stops using it later in the movie but that doesn’t mean they can’t add it to her gameplay). Spinel is was designed and is animated in a very old rubberhose style in many different scenes so they can also apply that to her gameplay.
The Wicked Witch also has a movie coming out soon so she is definitely likely too like Beetlejuice.
Thanks to the sword I can see Aku being likely too (I mean Agent Smith got in before Neo why not Aku before Jack 😆)
DC makes the most sense in terms of villains. Darkseid is too big to not put in.
@@WalkBesideMe I completely agree he will get in but I doubt it will be this season. I’m sure they’d rather do different series for each villain. They added Joker so that’s DC already.

I think Black Hat is a great choice for a villain, since the devs have shown special interest in his show, and he's from a series called Villainous. Would also add representation for a more recent show and give the Mexican players a character to latch on to (Villainous is made in part in Mexico)
Spinel is one of my most wanted villains along side Katz, Freddy Krueger, Death stroke, Jinx, Mandy, and Pennywise
I’m not to good at speculation but something tells me that if they got the 3rd party Jason why not have there own horror icon with Freddy. This would also make a Freddy vs Jason again🤭
Jason seems to be half-WB or something, while Freddy's movie studio got absorbed into WB, as is said on Wikipedia. So maybe they're both good to go.
Great to see this series back. Living Roster was probably the most fun I had with MVS speculation during its first run, really feels like we're back now.
My vote for least likely is going to Darkseid. Honestly, all five characters are totally plausible additions to the game this season, but with how many popular DC characters there are, Darkseid just has more direct competition than the other four and they already have a DC villain being the face of the season with Joker. Plus he just feels like the kind of character that would be saved for later on in the game's life, if that makes sense.
Sure that makes sense. Maybe they'll save Darkseid for another seasonal theme!

Darkseid is my most wanted DC villain for MultiVersus, if not my most wanted DC character in general. I also really want to see Aku as well, his dialogue would be glorious. Or rather, EXTRA THICC!
If the whole first season is villain themed, my prediction is, in theory and expanding beyond DC comics, either Black Hat from Villainous, Van Klise from Generator Rex, Argost from The Secret Saturdays, or Freddy Krueger.
god spinel would be such a good character to add i love her, i have soooo many ideas I NEED TO BE LIKE A GAME DESIGNER i need her in multiverses soooo many variant opportunities 😿😿
One character that I’m hoping and pretty sure will come to this season of multiversus is Black Hat. It would make a lot of sense since Black Hat is the organizer of Cartoon Network villains and he would just look so cool in the game
I think Vilgax has a good chance, though they might wait on that until Ben is in the game
Also I still think the red planet may be Mars instead of Apokolips. Which could be a hint to Queen Tyr’ahnee from Duck Dodgers (which could count as Looney Tunes in a sense considering Duck Dodgers is like a space ranger Daffy). Plus she’s a villain so she’d fit. Just my thought about the red planet comment
Darkside would be a monster in Multiversus! He would Omega level hype as well.
Darlseid and Aku seem a little too hefty just for "Joker's gang". They and HIM might be in an even bigger event, probably.
1 out of 5 who's least likely eh? I pick AKU. Darkseid at least has decades of comic book cred on him.
What gets me curious is how earlier villains/anti-heroes like Harley Quinn, Stripe and even Marvin the Martian (who tried to blow up the Earth many times) could play into this scenario.
The other potential villain that comes to mind is a Mortal Kombat rep, either Scorpion or Sub Zero
Of those two, Sub-Zero is a villain, Scorpion (if you wanna be a lore nerd about it) really isn't a villain. He works for one at the start of his story, but he ends up snapping out of the manipulation.
But Bi-Han Sub-Zero is a great option as well! He is a villain, through and through.
Aku is coming at some point, Wicked Wick has sleeping mechanics, Beetle Juice is coming, Pearl should be as well. PPGs is gonna be a 3 in 1 character.

Shit I just thought of Dick Dastardly, he'd be perfect for a game like this, and a great "vehicle" (heh heh) for getting in our first non-Scooby HB character
He's on my list of characters to bring up. Would have been a good idea to use him here, maybe... I dunno. Maybe I'll bring it up next episode.
I feel the 5 you chose as villains make the most sense for them to choose, and I would also love if these were the ones omg!
Least likely easily is potentially darkseid. There’s so many DC villains to choose from the pool to choose from is big. I like the other 4 a lot too, they all make sense at this point.
I think these are all really good picks! Both the Wicked Witch and Beetlejuice have movies coming out and Nakat referencing the red planet made me think about Apokolips as well. Aku would be amazing. He was an awesome playable character and boss fight in Punch Time Explosion and I hope they do the same with him in Multiversus. That recent morse code that translates to "we are the" made people think another Steven Universe rep might be on the way or another map. I don't know if it's ok to discuss the data mines or leaks, so I won't but a lot of these options are likely.
I'd prefer we stay away from leaks/datamines and stuff. At least right now.

@@LostTangentOutpost Alrighty I will not discuss leaks then! I also forgot to say who I thought was least likely and I want to say Spinel probably. Another thing is, the Superman show just started it's second season, so I could see Darkseid getting in and being a rep for DC/Superman. Yeah, I'm actually watching it right now and went back to comment because I forgot to say who I thought was least likely.
Kinda surprised you didn't bring up either Mojo Jojo or HIM, a Powerpuff Girls villain honestly seems pretty likely to me. They're giving it a new stage and a ton of fanservice already, and I could see a situation where we get one of their bad guys this season, then next season we get the girls themselves with a trailer where they're beating them up.
I know Mojo's already a stage hazard but he does have unique voicelines already recorded by his original VA and seems to be purposefully obscured, likely in case they add him as a fighter down the line. Plus if Banana Guard can go from NPC to playable, I think he's definitely on the table still.
Oh yeah, and I think Aku is probably the least likely of these five. I feel like he'll just be a rift boss added whenever they drop Samurai Jack, though I could see him being playable as well since he already was in Punch Time Explosion. Hopefully he won't be as broken as he was there, though.
I kinda already had my first 3 characters ready to go, it was the last 2 (Aku and Spinel) that I ended up landing on. But I DEFINITELY think HIM or Mojo Jojo stand a great chance. They just weren't top of my priority list. Though, maybe they should be. Might be worth bringing them up next episode!

I definitely think Freddy vs. Jason is too good a possibility at this point not to include Freddy Krueger. My personal vote based on the Joker box and the episodes airing on Boomerang are for The Lich, he seems very heavily involved/hinted at.
I think Aku is the least likely because the only thing we have tying him to the game is Jack's katana which is far less evidence than the previous leaked voice lines for beetle juice and the witch who also have their new movies coming out hence reasoning to put them in. Then the new teases for a Steven Universe character from the developers make Spinel more likely, not directly Spinel related but evidence which points to a Steven Universe villain in context. Darkside is more likely just for the red planet tease and being a DC character which kind of receives favoritism for roster additions.

I honestly rhink you could count Daffy Duck as a villain maybe, hes been sort of the villain in some looney tunes episodes so he could potentially count tho im not sure
I don't count Daffy as a villain. Sure, he serves as the antagonist for many episodes, but I think he's more of an anti-hero than anything. He's been seen many times as friends of Porky and Bugs, and most of the times when he is antagonising them it's because of his own selfish desires causing him to be oblivious to others' wellbeing and not out of mallice.
