    The glass bulb with the holes in it is used to root New plant cuttings when hung in a window.

      I have seen similar ones here in the UK and they can be filled with pot pourri and hung on the Christmas tree.

    The glass bulb at 5.20 with holes is to propagate plant cuttings. You can also stick little flowers in it with some water in the bottom and hang it in a window☺

    The textured clear glass candleholders are Avon. The glass blue/purple hue bowl I think is Pilgrim glass.

    I inherited my husband’s grandmothers thimble collection some of which are a whole collection of functional pewter thimbles (teapot, tree trunk with squirrel, birdhouse with bird) very fun and in displays too♥️♥️

      Yes, it was. I had one and kept baby pictures and extended family pictures of those who lived away from us. I wore the poor thing out because it was so handy to pull out of my purse and brag!

    The piece at 18:38 is actually made in India. It is usually a set of gift bowls which may be silver or silver coated. Used to serve dry fruits.

    There is a listing for what looks like the pink version of the purple glass bowl on Etsy. "Pink Feather Pattern Bowl" made by Fenton in the 1980s. Seller says there's a mark "tucked into the leaf design near the base."

      There's another listing for "Fenton Dusty Rose Console Bowl" on Etsy that likewise calls it a piece from the 1980s.

    Those brown mugs with the recessed handles I used to have and we called them owl mugs as when you look at them straight on they do look like an owl’s face

    The blown glass piece with holes is for toting plant cuttings. You fill it half way with water, hang it up, and stick plant cuttings in the holes. When you see roots growing on the cuttings, you can remove it and plant it in soup.

    McKenzie Child when it first came out was sold in Nordstroms...Now it's pretty but cheap kitchen stuff made in China...Sold on one of the shopping channels....

    Later watching, that giraffe mug was had a Marshall's Home Goods sticker if that helps. The glass with the holes is a hanging planter.

    The blue striped glasses are Anchor Hocking. They were made to accompany the Fire King Azurite Swirl.

    The thin tumblers with stripes are probably depression era. Glasses back then were more delicate in manufacture.

    The hanging glass bowl with the holes in it is to start plants, you can hang them on a window opening, fill with water and cut some stems from a plant, hope this helps

    Its never a bad idea to check pieces like the bowl at minute 14:12 with the black & white stripes; MacKenzie Childs often uses bold black & white

    Zac Posen was a judge on Project Runway sometimes. Oh and the clear thing with holes for hanging was for rooting plants. I had a bunch of them (all shapes) hanging in my bathroom back in the 70's.

    The glass fruit with the whole is a planter.... you water in the fruit and place plant cuttings in the wholes and hang it. It should come with a cord, or you could get a pretty cord. I used to have a few hanging from the kitchen window frame.

    The blown glass piece is something to fill with water and add plant starts. You hang them in your window until they're rooted enough to plant. I used to have one. Wondering now whatever happened to it.

    Gel stain...no sanding required.
    There are tons of vids on how to restore a piece in minutes using it.

    What a steal!!! Bunny cup and saucer. Funny how chip dishes are always nicely on the shelf safety 😉 love the giraffe mug. Love the acorn. I Did not know not to put pyrex in the dishwasher. Love the thimbles. Love the rainbow plate. Like the pink boot. Tea party cups, pot looks nice. I had a good day shopping in second hand shops.

      @@cathleenweaver6483 Yes! I think they call it Black and White Vegetable design. I have not gone back to look at the segment again however. They used to have open studio sales in the 1990's and the prices were great! I have a table cloth that matches the bowl that I think I saw in the video, as well as the napkins.
