Girl, I knew it! You have had sad eyes for awhile and I was concerned. So proud of you doing what is best for you and your family! You have been my go to videos for awhile now and it has been so good for me. Best wishes on your new endeavor, you will be fabulous as always!
2:56, I like those clear faceted glass prisms with a frosted figure inside and when you put it on a lighted base the frosted design lights up! Its in front of the blue candle.
I hate when people tell you what to do. But that wall hanging that says “big dreams start small” reminds me so much of you! You should keep it in the shop…
You can never have too much optimism! This is just one reason most of us enjoy watching your videos so much! I love when you score, especially when something is still there that you had second thoughts on!!❤
12:40 😮 My luck? Her one eye would flip open, scaring me to death, thus causing me to tinkle right there in the Goodwill hardwares aisle! 😂 Stop touching those freaking dolls, Jocelyn! 😂
@CrazyLampLady I think the deer is by Fab Funky on canvas with specific frames. The deer & fox are called *Mad* *Hatter* usually by Kelly Stevens Mclaughlin, UK. 😊
At about 12:40: The dark-haired doll on a stand: I'm almost sure she's a Revlon Doll from late 50s! I wanted one for Christmas SO BADLY, I asked Santa for her several years in a row! At some point, I did get one, only the smaller, 10-inch version! I still have her, a precursor to the Barbie doll! ❤😊
The old dolls do get a sticky film. I had an old Chatty Kathy and also the old Barbie dolls would get that sticky film. Warm water gets rid of it but it does come back. Must be the components they use with rubber and whatnot.
Those mugs are from crooksville pottery in ohio. Sort of like Mccoy, Roseville. There were all kinds of pottery places all around that same area. Also jack pine studio in hocking county ohio, near hocking hills state park. Beautiful area.
Those dogs in carts are why I have an allergic reaction. No one ever thinks to clean them after dogs have been in them. Cleaning the handle doesn’t always stop a reaction, it just removes slobbers. . I am suffering tonight because of a reaction. Dog hair and dander gets everywhere.
@@sondraturin9873My son has a severe allergy to dog protein. It is not only in fur or dander, but in saliva too. No dogs are hypoallergenic to this kind of allergy. Dogs in stores and especially small dogs in carts cause him to break out in hives and his eyes swell shut.
When you are shopping at Goodwill, you will often be attracted to Avon. Other thrifting buyers do the same, but because it’s “Avon” no one buys it. There are many nice things they made and they deserve more respect than they get.
@ I completely understand that. I was only referring to the resale value to begin with. My point being that Avon just won’t sell but that the quality has usually always been good.
I stopped at our goodwill tonight. What a waste of time. Our hard goods section is so sparse in goods anymore that I kid you not, Everything in it would only fill 1, maybe 2 of those shelves we are seeing. And even then, the 2 wouldn't be full! It's so disheartening. 😢
Hi Jocelyn, it would be helpful when you do look at dolls to show who makes them by looking at the back of their neck. Just a thought. Thanks for another great video. ❤ Trina
I Remember when collecting Avon and teacups was the in thing to do 35 yrs ago. Do you think Avon will come back in style? 14:36 I think if anyone could bring back Avon, you could.
You decorate the grapevine wreath. The elephant I think is for toothpicks. The red tablecloth could still be a tree skirt. My Mom used to use a white sheet. Some of those plastic dolls and other plastic items just get sticky like that. I’m not sure why. Maybe they get too hot???
Yes, if the cork handle is intact and the rod tip isn’t broken off, St. Croix are the best! My husband and I both own St. Croix rods. More valuable than the reel, that’s for sure!
Hahaha!! You picked up that fishing rod and said "St. Croix" and I immediately blurted out, "OMG!"... then you said that those of us that know fishing would say that. 😆 St. Croix is top of the line in fishing rods. If it's not broken on the end and in good shape, those are worth looking up.
I found a Viking 13” Swung Vase in Persimmon Amberina with 4 cabbage petals in the lower part. Do you know if it has any value? Its in perfect condition. It even has a Viking Hand Made sticker on it. Thank you so much!
I really enjoy your shopping videos. I must say thought that if I didn’t hear your voice in this one, I would say you didn’t record it. Lol. It is very different. You did find some wonderful things.
Question for you all that buy or sell on the Niknax, my mom has sooo many "Niknax"😉 and we may be moving her in with us and then us all moving to a new state so my question is is you all think that would be the best place to list things vs Ebay? Selling online is going to be completely new to me but my mom has collected this since I was a child, lets just say I've hit that half century mark😳 so I think she has some beautiful, fun, older pieces I don't want to see tossed or donated if this gives her some $$ to put aside... Would be grateful for any thoughts you guys may have❤

I came to say something along these lines. She should hang it in the shop.
Definitely...when she said "trust me, I know", I thought the same thing!! Perfect for a daily reminder in the shop:)
“Should” ? You’re not telling her what she should do, are you…? 😉😄
And yet you just told her what to do 🙄
@ 😂
You can never have too much optimism! This is just one reason most of us enjoy watching your videos so much! I love when you score, especially when something is still there that you had second thoughts on!!❤
Loved the deer and fox paintings ❤
I am soooooo glad you picked up the BLENKO plate!!!!! I was dying inside for days LOL :P
I couldn’t believe it was still there! I’ll put some charcuterie on it.
You are so subtly clever. “Fanci with an I. That makes it extra fancy.” Made my day.
I believe that is the Longaberger boardwalk basket. $10 was a great price.😊
It is! I have two of those! One of my favorite baskets. There was a small one too if I remember correctly.
@@mamaG4I have one, too! Mine has the zippered botanical fields liner. So pretty! You are right. There also is a small one. 😊
@@jeanschnur5856 my liners are pink and green with a drawstring. I loved that it had a closure since most of the baskets are open.
I am drinking coffee in my "Cup of Happy" mug from Natural Life as I watch your video. I thrifted the mug from Goodwill too!
That is a grapevine wreath. You decorate them. They are beautiful.
12:40 😮 My luck? Her one eye would flip open, scaring me to death, thus causing me to tinkle right there in the Goodwill hardwares aisle! 😂 Stop touching those freaking dolls, Jocelyn! 😂
😂😂😂
@MonicaFarnsworth 🤣🤣🤣 I kind of get it for people for whom dolls are creepy; but I for one LOVE dolls! ❤️
The "War Alarm" clock in good working condition is worth around $50
I was a bit disappointed when this was left behind. But hopefully an enthusiast will find it.
That was my hope. I wasn’t sure how to even test it. I figured someone would pick it up who knows what they’re doing. 😊
The deer and fox are Vicki Sawyer images.
They were my favorite find today!
Mine as well!!!
I love them.
@CrazyLampLady I think the deer is by Fab Funky on canvas with specific frames. The deer & fox are called *Mad* *Hatter* usually by Kelly Stevens Mclaughlin, UK. 😊
@@Gram_Gram I have this set & I love them!
OMG I love that longaberger basket! I have that one and use it! Paid 10x for mine back in the day!
I think the wooden elephant is for toothpicks. Very cute
I truly believe Avon will come back!!
If you sell it,they will buy it!! AVON!!
I love that little clock!
The fox and deer pictures ❤
At about 12:40: The dark-haired doll on a stand: I'm almost sure she's a Revlon Doll from late 50s! I wanted one for Christmas SO BADLY, I asked Santa for her several years in a row! Sometimes I feel like I should just buy all the Avon I see in hopes for that day!
The old dolls do get a sticky film. I had an old Chatty Kathy and also the old Barbie dolls would get that sticky film. Warm water gets rid of it but it does come back. Must be the components they use with rubber and whatnot.
I think it's a real shame that Avon is not collectible. Some of it is quite nice
I actually have good luck reselling Avon in my shop! It started out that I didn't know any better that it "wasnt" collectible!! 😂

That Elephant looks like a gazing ball for outside in your flowers
Next up, Goodwill shopping with Hank!!
Your new Air B& B will need some games. Keep a look out for some good ones!💕
That’s a really pretty ginger jar sad about the crack
Wedding set would make a nice gift.
Would have bought that clock
Great find on the antique ink well and that tea cup and saucer!!
That Longaberger basket is a boardwalk basket. Great price!
That Longaberger BoardWalk basket tote 😁 So Good!!!!!! It would've been $50 at my MD Goodwills

What about with dogs like Maltese that dont have an undercoat

And pretty
I really liked the elephant lamp. Would love to see it repaired and lit up. So quirky.
That top to butter dish is Adeline pioneer woman in teal
Love the whimsical artwork...have a lot of whimsy in my house, mostly involving cats!❤

All was good but my favorite was the deer and the fox omg was sooo beautiful
Absolutely loved the clock ❤
Andrew would have been interested in that clock it said war alarm on front and I googled those and they were going for $125+ and I'm assuming from WW2
I was yelling through the screen of my iPad “ HIS NECK IS CHIPPED” so glad you heard me😂😂😂
We need a mom and you booth’s restocking 🩷🩷
The clock looks like a telcron and even if it does not work can bring good money..
The elephant holds toothpicks. I have one

I love the fox & deer! How's your dad? Mom too?
Cool Longaberger!!!!!
It's very common for rubber made material on dolls to get sticky. I collect dolls ,well I use too. I had several who were sticky. They can be cleaned
Go there often hoping to see you and say hi ..
Love your videos
❤ the animals in hats! 🎩🎩🎩
Love your videos always learning new items to thrift!😊
Geeking over your car interior. That brown is niceee
YAY !!! Shopping !!!
Great full cart!!!
That was fun.
Great video. Love the paintings and the basket. 😊

You saw it, right?!
I just turned $27 in golf clubs, to $200 plus one club I kept... from this goodwill.
Jocelyn , I sent you a reply to your question in yesterdays video about sold items.
I'm thinking that doll was a Marie Osmond doll
I would love to find an ink bottle! They're so beautiful.
Really great finds today
Wreath is made of grapevine.
I think you are thinking of Dedham Pottery replications with Potters Shed.
My jaw dropped when I saw that Westbend shaker
I love the fox and deer in hats. Where will those be listed?
Loved the artwork and the plate.
Hi Jocelyn 🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️
St Croix fishing rods are excellent. The reel on the rod looked old.
Yes. I thought I remembered that the cork was good, I just don’t know enough about them. 😊

I would suggest trying to sell local first. Craigslist or FB marketplace. Beware of scammers tho. You would save on having to pack and ship that way.
Hello 👋
O.45 seconds in, lithograph christmas plate is reproduction. The original would not have a description on it.
How much shipping for a sfack of plates or a full set of China?
I hate the word moisten too 🤮
Marie Osmond doll?
It’s an orbaphant, lol
teeheehee...dampen instead of moisten
Oh, and she most likely did the lettering and maybe the design.
🎉🎉🎉
why is everything always estimated at $18-$24? Why not more than that?
Sometimes it’s more than that.
