To me one of the best bikes ever, there power was way beyond the suspension and if not careful you could come undone but if running right with plenty of advance and with a 26 trans sprocket and leaning down mine could do the ton, it was 74 cubes with the linkert carb... did try bigger mikuni but did not seem to gain much more top end speed, if you hit a bump at 60 mph the back wheel would leave the ground, I once kicked it on full advance and still have calf muscle problems to this day, the fun of riding this motorcycle will never be forgotten...
If I ever had a motorcycle I would be a total Yuppie poser but I have to say, I always prefer the Indian shifter on the right (throttle on the left). Reversing the controls is just wrong.
That's fine if it's the only bike in your stable. Imagine having a fun weekend car with the gas and brake pedals reversed. Best to keep it all consistent, so don't be a poser.
