    Distance... Aaaaallways distance

Most common problem for distance in kaeshi do iare1 waiting too long or 2 stepping too deep. Try anticipating instead of waiting by giving pressure, and don't take such a long step because remember they are also coming to you!

The block is so hard for me

Most common mistake I see is people pulling the arms towards them, or making an exagerated motion to block. Ideally you want to catch the sword away from your body, and right at the moment of the deflection, change the direction towards the strike rather than continuing moving the sword upwards. Does that makes sense? Let me know!!!!

I regret sometimes the fact that I’ve been trained to always go forward, never step back, not even to regain distance but instead just step in close. I think sometimes stepping back is needed as long as it’s controlled and part of the plan

Not being too crowded to perform the Waza is the hardest

Some times ( depending of my opponent) I use my foot front foot to go more to the side than forward, Have you tried this?

You might be going to much forwards and maybe try it without topigomi/fumikomi (can't remember which one was which) also try keep your back straight

Hey man! you need to address him as Eiga Sensei! not Eiga, that is really disrespect to Eiga Sensei. I know that owner of Kendo start, he does not address him as Eiga, he address him as Eiga Sensei, it seem that you need to go back to your kendo basic learn how to respect Sensei!.

Hey dude thank you for this comment. I agree with you and as a matter of fact that is the reason why I wrote “sensei” in the title of the video, but I also somewhat disagree with you, if you noticed this was a segment of a live stream and I was doing commentaries on his performance in competition along with several other kenshi, in this aspect I believe it is ok to refer to participants by their names, but again I may be wrong. That been said if you check my streams I have used Eiga sensei as an example several times and I refer to him as Eiga Sensei when studying his kendo and showcasing him. Cheers
