Interesting interview... I think it'd be wrong not to label her an artist. The concept of art has changed, and in my opinion art is merely an outlook. It's the process of taking and viewing anything in a way in which can stimulate thoughts and emotions. But at the same time, the issue comes when you have to label her as a "good" or "bad" artist.
why? it is his own point of view and he has the right to say what he want to say.
I think that "critic" has a point, and a really good opinion. It is sloppy, but there is a good stance on what Emin's work is about... So do you just go and dismiss all opinions that you don't agree with? So why don't you tell us why you don't like this comment? Instead of just saying its "wrong".
The words "Tracey Emin" and "culture" should never be used in the same sentence.
