I am almost speechless. I love how the slightly separated wood segments add a beautiful textural integrity. This was precisely and masterfully executed, and the final product is absolutely stunning. I am in awe of your fine artistic work. Bravo!
nice. you could make a jig for the segment setup for gluing pretty easily as the segment count per level was the same (at least seemingly). would certainly speed up the process!
WOW, beautiful pattern and a nice selection of wood. Is it Maple, Walnut, Beech and maybe Mahogany? Do you have a cut list, I would like to make one of these? Thanks for sharing
Thank you Jim, not all of them, it's teak, rosewood, camphor, and the white wood is manglid, all of them are original wood from Indonesia, yes I have a list of pieces
These painstaking preparations created a piece of stunning harmony. Awesome!
Thank you 🙏🙏
The thought of catching one of those openings and having the entire thing explode really makes my butt pucker.
Well done!!!!!!
Thank you, full of risk of exploding to create an open segment
You a way above my level of woodworking!
Thank you, even so I still have a lot to learn to be better 🙏🙏
Beautiful piece of Art.

This is a wonderful piece! Congratulations! I just subscribed. Something like this will go on my list of things to try. What is a stomper?
Thank you very much, the stomper is a tool for stepping on pieces of wood that will be arranged into one open ring
Phantastisch!
Thanks 🙏
From start to finish how long did that take?
Approximately 4-5 days to complete this work
May I ask what app you are using to figure out the segments?
I made the segment pattern myself in excel on my computer
nice job! what degree did you cut those segments?
Thank you 🙏, 11.25 degrees and 32 pieces
I just looked up the stomper and I don't think you need it. You are careful enough to do this on your bench with weight or a press or use the lathe.
Yes, thank you for the advice and input..🙏
