Ok. So here's what the video DOESN'T show. There are two retaining clips at the top of the nose cone piece on the 2019 F3s. You need to remove the torx screws along the dash cluster pod that run along the upper fairing. Pulling on it as shown in the video will result in breaking those clips. Remove the two torx screws and hex cap nuts that secure the nose cone as well as the bottom center torx and 8mm nut.
Thanks for sharing this information with our viewers. The 2019 models were not out yet at the time of this video, so we were unable to showcase this. It does appear that Can-Am has made some changes to the way that front nose piece mounts on the 2019 and newer F3/F3s models.
@@Slingmods I wish you guys can either update the video or provide a picture of what additional screws and bolts need to be removed from a 2019 and up Spyders. Would sure make it useful for newbies that are trying to do this themselves without breaking or damaging anything.

@@markusthedrummer8143 Hello Mark, please make sure that you have the LED's clocked in the correct position so that the headlights emits outward at the correct angle. That can be found here: th-cam.com/video/WonVnHhR13U/w-d-xo.html You may be able to reach your hand through the side panel where you check oil level, to feel if the wire is clocked correctly without remove all the panels again.
Could you explain clipping the bulb back in place around the 3:03 mark? When I try to pull clip back over the bulb the rubber piece is in the way and gets folded up with it.
Hello, the yellow plug you see in the background there is the plug used for the side view mirror. The headlight plug is the one shaped more like a wall outlet plug.

Hello, it looks like the 2019+ F3 Models now have push pins in that location. I reached out to the MFG on this and they said "On the newer F3's there is now 2 push pins on the very top of that nose cover, It’s hard to take a pic as it’s very tight. You almost have to pry it up to see it then reach in to remove the push pins. This was present on the 2019+ model also." Hope this helps!
Yeah in curious about this as well. Seems from my past experience whenever you switch to led or hid there leaves room for moisture and water to get inside the housing. Not so sure about these. They look really cool though
Yes, I noticed he put it on backward too, and I had trouble reinstalling it till I put it back right. Note to readers. NOTE well how your rubber boot comes off (note the direction the tabs are pointing) then install the light the proper way. If you actually watch the video carefully, you'll see the rubber tab facing backward when he takes it off, AND in the 2 pics which show you how to clock it, but he installed it backward.
I just purchased these for my 2022F3S Spyder and there’s no way to clock them at 5 PM and 7 PM because they have grooves, one small and one larger, on the LEDs I was shipped where they can only fit one way in the retainer and then in the light hosing. ….both wires are at 2 PM and there is no was to move…any suggestions?

Ok I know what you are talking about and was challenged by that too, but found what was the problem. First of all, before trying to install it, take the lighting huge "washer with 3 tabs thing" and figure out how it goes in - one of the tabs is bigger, and the 3 tab receiving areas all look the same but they're not. Second, the bulb will turn, and rotate a bit, IF you have it installed right, in that giant "washer with 3 tabs thing." I made a video but can't seem to attach it to this reply.
I have 2016 F3 Limited. My mirrors don't look anything like the ones on the bike in this video. There are no bolts to take off to remove the mirrors. So what do I do now?
Hello Tam, my apologies. We did not have the F3 Limited at the time of this installation. You do not have to remove the mirrors on that bike model. If you do a google search for: "Spyder F3T LED Headlight Install" there is an installation video that someone has done. The F3T and F3 Limited have the same installation process.

Hello Sad, these are for the F3 models only unfortunately. They're 30W LED vs the OE 55W halogen, as LED lights consume much less power, for the same light output. The light that's emitted from the LED's is 6,000 on the kelvin scale. Thanks for the inquiry.

At 2:28 you unclipped the bulb. I didn't see you clip the replacement bulb using the same device at 2:28. Is that correct?

The LED driver just tucks behind the LED bulb.
