Kelly I am like you I have problems following those bag patterns too ! So I just wing it when I make my cross stitch project bags :) I quilt up my material on my cutie frame :) thank you for making this
This is my favourite HQ video of all time! I love this video…thanks Kelly and Kristina!
Another great idea. I didn't realize so much was possible on the longarm. Thank you again for all you share.
Great video. Love the quilt in the background. Thank you!!!
Kelly you are amazing! you never cease to amaze and inspire me!
I was impressed when you showed how to piece a quilt on the longarm. This is very impressive; making a bag on a longarm! I can't wait to see what you show us next that can be done on the longarm!
Great project to do on long arm. Never thought of that!
Great video! It's great to know our longarm can be used to make things other than just quilting quilts! Thank you!
Thanks for getting two micr! Much appreciated!
These look like so much fun!! Many quilters make bags anyway and this is one more opton!
Those bags are really beautiful. Thank you. Loved this video.
This is awesome! Can’t wait to try it!
This was so amazing. Already made my 1st bag. Putting the pockets on like this was so easy. I also found it was so much easier to put the webbing on for straps this way. I make a lot of bags and this is my new fav way! Thank you. Would love more videos on projects like this. I do “make” my quilts on the long arm if I need to make a quick quilt, esp using the jelly rolls. Makes for quick baby quilts.
Best video ever. I will definitely use this. Thank you.
Loved this video! Thanks Kelly! I shared it with a Longarm group I admin here in Australia and it's been inspiring a few others who have made them since I shared! I plan on loading one big longer piece, and then having a go at doing a couple of bags at once, trying bag batting in for Ne and soft and stable in another.
Such a cute bags! Thank you for posting!
I have made a matching bag for a baby quilt using all the left overs but didn’t use soft and stable will try that next time, great job.
Great idea easy Christmas presents
This was so much fun and great info! I have to try this...thank you!
Great video thanks for the information. One of these days I will try to make a bag.
So nice!
This is a great ideas thanks
LOVE LOVE LOVE the quilting on the quilt in the background! Is it custom quilting?
Great video , would love to know the pattern for the quilt behind , u all show such stunning quilts in the backdrop, hope one day u do a little videos n talk about them . Thk you
Loved the video. What was the thread you used please.
My long arm group is going to try this! Btw - love the quilt in the background ❤️ - is there a pattern for that? And the quilting is exquisite
Awesome. What size needle did you use?
The needle size is determined by the thread type that you choose to use.
Excellent video. Love your bags. Would also like to know what is the name of the pattern on the quilt hanging in the background please.
Love the bags are they washable?
Just follow the washing instructions for the fabric that you end up using in your project.
I just made a bag similar on a Moxie. I used polyester batting and just rolled it to and fro. I made it 16” and followed the rest of your instructions. Is there a reason for only using your throat space?
It isn't necessary to stay in the throat space (as you figured out!) For some people it is easier and for filming purposes it is less confusing.
Hooray. Great sound and better camera work. First video I could watch and hear from beginning to end.
Also, what are batting scissors? Have not heard of and not at my handi-quilter store. Thank you.

I LOVE the batting scissors!! I use them for more than just batting.
Do you have a ruler base on?
The ruler base gives you a little more work surface. I believe the ruler base was on during this video.
Could you line up a few bags side by side so you don't waste the backing on the longarm?
By any chance, is there a PDF for this video?
How can you do boxed corners on your longarm?
Great video but I found the instruction to be a bit chaotic. Do you have a written pattern to go along with your video? I would love to make this! Thank you!
How did you join your handle webbing to be a circle?
You can stitch the webbing together to create a circle before putting it on the bag or you can just cross the edges over themselves and stitch them directly on the bag.
