    Another great idea. I didn't realize so much was possible on the longarm. Thank you again for all you share.

    I was impressed when you showed how to piece a quilt on the longarm. This is very impressive; making a bag on a longarm! I can't wait to see what you show us next that can be done on the longarm!

    This was so amazing. Already made my 1st bag. Putting the pockets on like this was so easy. I also found it was so much easier to put the webbing on for straps this way. I make a lot of bags and this is my new fav way! Thank you. Would love more videos on projects like this. I do “make” my quilts on the long arm if I need to make a quick quilt, esp using the jelly rolls. Makes for quick baby quilts.

    Loved this video! Thanks Kelly! I shared it with a Longarm group I admin here in Australia and it's been inspiring a few others who have made them since I shared! I plan on loading one big longer piece, and then having a go at doing a couple of bags at once, trying bag batting in for Ne and soft and stable in another.

    Awesome. What size needle did you use?

    • @HandiQuilter
      @HandiQuilter  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The needle size is determined by the thread type that you choose to use.

    Love the bags are they washable?

    • @HandiQuilter
      @HandiQuilter  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just follow the washing instructions for the fabric that you end up using in your project.

  • @mairimitchell48

    I just made a bag similar on a Moxie. I used polyester batting and just rolled it to and fro. I made it 16” and followed the rest of your instructions. Is there a reason for only using your throat space?

    • @HandiQuilter
      @HandiQuilter  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It isn't necessary to stay in the throat space (as you figured out!) For some people it is easier and for filming purposes it is less confusing.

    Hooray. Great sound and better camera work. First video I could watch and hear from beginning to end.
    Also, what are batting scissors? Have not heard of and not at my handi-quilter store. Thank you.

    Do you have a ruler base on?

    • @HandiQuilter
      @HandiQuilter  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The ruler base gives you a little more work surface. I believe the ruler base was on during this video.

    Could you line up a few bags side by side so you don't waste the backing on the longarm?

    How did you join your handle webbing to be a circle?

    • @kristinawhitneyhqstudioedu7013
      @kristinawhitneyhqstudioedu7013 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can stitch the webbing together to create a circle before putting it on the bag or you can just cross the edges over themselves and stitch them directly on the bag.
