That sounds really good for a V6.
And remember kids, this is the Rental / Fleet version of the Camaro. And it sounds too good for what it is. I want.
Not a Camaro fan, but I liked this video. Shows the car in a multiple climate environment, mother nature throwing her worst at the car. Camaro beat mother nature.
It DOES have Navigation tho....through CARPLAY and ANDROID AUTO ;)
I've owned the 2018 Camaro RS for the past 7 or 8 months; which is basically this same car. I've got the NPP dual mode exhaust option too. Let me tell you; Ive always been a v8 purist and used to make fun of 6 cyl pony cars....but with 335 horsepower stock, it's actually faster than my LS1 camaro was, my LS2 gto was, and my 2009 mustang GT! Very surprised and I love this car.
I can't wait to see Roman and Nathan reviewing cars together...

Great Video! TFL's back! Cool to see a Camaro review in the snow too! In Ontario, we've been lucky to not have winter hit us yet but it will get here soon enough I'm sure. And we have a lot of Camaros in the snow up here during the winter, so it's nice to see a video of one on TFL.
We'll miss producing the Camaros here in Ontario, but all the best to Michigan getting production. Hopefully GM can give our Oshawa plant a new model to build so GM can save the jobs of some loyal manufacturing employees in Canada.
As an ecoboost mustang owner, I wish my tail pipes made those sounds...
I guess the whoosssshhh pssshhh kinda makes up for it.. still tho.. :(

I guess what I'm getting at is, I wish the S550 was a bit smaller, lighter and offered with a more powerful V6.. I really have no desire to own a Camaro.. In terms of looks, I think my Mustang is still a much better looking car and the EB is a beast off the line.. just the top end lacks which is opposite of like every car I've ever driven Lol.
+Sigrafix I have the same car and the same desire for a better sound. We will see how it sounds when it gets the bigger turbo and many many other mods.
sounds great! they did a good job. I think the surfacing isn't as detailed as the Mustang 's so it comes across a smidge drab or understated. pinstripes or something may help it out
Great sound for a V6 and On Star is pretty awesome. I had in a rental Chevy Cruze when I was in Albany NY last month.
The exhaust note on this car sounded much better than the guy talking about the car.
How did it drive on slushy/snowy roads in the ice/snow mode?
Great video Nathan! I do think this appears to be a big improvement over the previous Camaro which I really did not like driving. But happy I decided to go with a '16 Mustang.

I see no issue with driving a sports car in the winter under conditions such as you drove in. Up here in Alaska there are a couple die hard floating around in Mustang /Camaros, and even a 2002 Corvette. Good set of snow tires with some weight in the rear and they will do just fine.
You guys should have tried the ultra-SMOOTH new electronic automatic, I got to take one (2016) around the block and it was LEGIT...

I liked the review, however I did not find it any different than your usual ones. I would have loved to see a longer video, so I could actually see your roadtrip. At the end, you tell us the different types of weather you encountered. Well why not show us, for more than a few seconds?
I have that v6 in my 2013 impala ltz 303 hrsp with speed auto manual option that thing is quick I had it tuned and it will do 160 easy

It's moving in the right direction with a smaller and lighting car.
Chevy should really offer navigation. Its become almost standard, for this price put should offer it.

Because their charging premium money and there are other vehicle in its class and performance spec that do offer.
And because, smart phones need charging, people forget their chargers, people might not have strong signals, dropped signals, might have the phone shut off accidently, etc etc.

those types of air vent were first brought up by Audi in the new TT, so don't give Chevy more credit than they deserve for that.

Ohioan 1 You don't need AWD but you do need winter tires.

All seasons will make it through, certainly better then summer tires. Yes Snows would be best but just not worth it for what we get.
I think the turbo should have been reviewed. I think just like mustang,the turbo would be bought most.
The turbo Camaro will be released a little later.

+court bowes Well with how GM and Ford have stacked their product lines I doubt the split will go how you've stated... for Ford the V-6 is the entry level engine... for GM the entry level engine is the turbo 2 lt... so it'll probably end up something like GM moving a bunch of V-6s and Ford moving a bunch of turbos 4 cylinder engines...
Well ,a Ford rep said that the v6 is hardly selling. I was surprised that the gt is selling well. And of course I was right about the eco .

Why does this 3.6 V6 with 335hp having the same displacement as the Chevy Colorado have more horsepower at 305hp?
Different Tuning for a car, trucks tend to have more torque than hp

You can't recline those front seats at all. That's awful for a long road trip.

It's stupid to have the roof so low. GM can say goodbye to 5-10% of their potential customer base for this car.
I'm 6'4 270 I fit very comfortable in it with about 5 inches between my head and the roof. It's because they put the seats a few inches closer to the floor for this generation.
Unless you are very leggy it's impossible that you have 5 inches of headroom left. I am 6'4 also and can not fit in many cars. I won't say for sure until I actually sit in this new Camero, but I doubt if I'll have more than 1/2 inch to spare.
