Thanks for posting this one, brought back loads of happy memories. Me and 4 mates walked swcp in 1989, Teignmouth to poole in a week, we had to wild pitch first night just after devon cliffs....will never that week.
Yea you can't always rely on the weather but it stayed pretty dry for the most part so mustn't grumble. Thanks for watching Max. Hope you're keeping well.
Hello Trev and Ernest....this was brilliant to see mate very nostalgic!! Great section of coast you hiked ladram bay cliffs and stacks remind me of the Goonie film.....sidmouth to beer next it's an epic one!! Hopefully see you when you reach golden cap in Dorset mate.....cheers
Cheers Jodz. Yeah, had a great day hiking, cant wait to get back out again. Still want to get back down to Cornwall too, so will chop and change I reckon. Cheers for watching!
Not wrong! I unfortunately live in Exmouth......good to see you here Trev.... hopefully bump into you on Dartmoor sometime.....Summit or Nuffin!!!!!!!!!!🙂
Exmouth isn't dramatic scenery in any way but like all coastal towns is a damn site better living by the sea than not. Thank you for your video, enjoyed it as I recently did the same walk, enjoyed it, thank you.
I love it when people do them bad parking, having to double back on routes, as I now know it is not only me lol! For one second I was just about to type well done Trev on going for a swim in the sea but either way, good on whoever it was, great effort! Nice walk and very informative and I loved the thatched cottages on the coastal path, just outside Sidmouth and what a great beach it was there as well. Good to see you and Earnest did not get a soaking, cheers Alan
Hahah... Yea, me and Ernest did ok to keep dry lol. Was a beauty walk, and lots to see along the way. Thanks for watching Alan. All the best. Hope you're healing well.
Lovely to see what is practically my second home looking so stunning on your vid Trev. I've only ever made it to Budleigh from Exmouth myself (the kids weren't over the moon about that even!) but next time I'll try and go all the way to Sidmouth. I quite fancy that patch of trees the other side of the Otter estuary at Budleigh as a bivvy spot too... Top vid as usual Sir. See you next Saturday in Brecon! Rich.
Cheers Rich. It's a cracking location for sure..... Blimey is that next weekend already? Where is this month going? All the best and cheers for watching, mate.
Excellent video...shame about the crowds! Those rock formations were incredible. You're spot on...the world is changing. Don't they say that Snowdon was at one point in distant history higher than Everest?
More red sandstone shame about the weather on this one but the scenery is still stunning. There's a walk from Budleigh salterton that goes up to Newton poppleford that looks nice😁👍
Hey Ernest was that a thatched roof at around the 8 minute mark? There was a land bridge between where you walked and France, when I was a week lad I used to commute over it to get to school. I use to put those French rocks in my pocket and bring them back with me. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
👌🏼 EDIT: When you do these walks, you wild camp some nights... when you don’t film that, do you get a b&b or similar? Or just a train home? Or a mixture?
Hi ya. If I camp I'll film it. If not it's a mixture of getting a bus back to the start, or meeting my family at the other end - they have often dropped me at the start and spend the day sightseeing or just pick me up and take me back to my car at the start. On this particular walk I got the bus back

I live in Exmouth and this is my favourite walk...usually get the bus to Sidmouth and then walk back.
It was a cracking walk, and a good way to spend an afternoon. Absolutely fascinating landscape. Thanks for watching!
Great video that!! Looking forward to more
Hi from Scotland Trev. My wife and I love your videos, awesome once again mate!!
Thanks very much - really glad that you both enjoy the videos. al the best!
Yeah Sunday night 9pm. Cuppa tea, biscuit and summit or nothing.
Great to hear! Hope you enjoyed it!
I've walked from Seaton to Sidmouth as well as Seaton to Lyme Regis. Both are good walks also.
I have yet to walk to Lyme Regis - will get around to it soon! Thanks for watching!
very interesting stretch of coast... A little more sunshine would have made it even better.. Rather mysterious in the mist as well.. 👍👍

I did this fantastic walk on friday was lovely, that hill from ladram bay to sidmouth was a hard one, so relieved when I finally did it.
Yea, a great stretch, but yep, that hills a killer!
Another great vid mate with some lovely scenery on the way. Love those tripod shots. Very well framed. ATB mare.👍👍
Thanks Martin. I keep the tripod much more accessible these days, glad that you liked the shots. Cheers for watching!
You're in my area, Trev! The Jurassic coast is beautiful, when you're out of Exmouth anyway lol.
Haha! It was a great days walking, not so much to see as the North Coast but really interesting geology. Cheers for watching!
