Making of a cabinet - Oct. 1994 to Jan 1995. Oxford, Ma. (2009)

Filmed in Herman Hoving's basement workshop in Oxford, Ma. from Oct . 1994 to Jan. 1995, when my father was 82 years old.
The oak cabinet is modeled on the Dutch Renaissance style furniture of the 17th. Century. It took 4 months to make this cabinet...

Thanks for this Peter. I have enjoyed several of your videos recently. It was wonderful to see your father doing what he so enjoyed when you had told us
he had spent time in years gone by so unhappy. In this video he gave me a new code to think of when he said, ''If you have not the courage to go through the process it is better that you go fishing''
You too are a real craftsman and I very much admire your non intrusive technique. The scene in another video with the Shakers was amazing. It was as if you were not noticed there but captured the total scene, sound and atmosphere. Thank you. David.

That was a great review you wrote, thank you very much, and even including the Shaker scene. His father did a lot of fishing, so that's

Heel veel dank voor je bericht, het spijt me dat mijn vader nooit
de video heeft gezien, het was nog al moeilijk die tijd om te monteren, later vanwege de computer was het heel gemakke-lijk.
