@@isaacneumannWhy does no one ever ask how many Jews were kicked out or killed from Judea, Gaza, Samaria, Jerusalem by the 5 Muslim armies who invaded? At least 10,000+ And 800,000 were kicked out of Muslim countries all over! And that is not even including the German thing. Islam is the most apartheid ideology outside of the old Aryan thing. And most of the non Jews were told to leave by the Muslim armies (it was even in one Arab language newspaper) so the ‘Arabised’ armies could slaughter every Jew living. Yes, they advertised genocide of all Jews. Its so bad what Islamists have done to Jews and Judaism, I can never forget or forgive as it is still going on to this day! And yet people have the ignorance/bad intentions to keep making out like Israel is at fault for anything!

Excellent presentation! I knew a girl in high school who was Persian. Her parents were doctors and worked at the local hospital. One day I was talking to her. I assumed she was Shiite. But she told me her family were actually Baháʼí. I was shocked and asked her how they were still alive. This was 10 years after the Revolution. She and her family were smuggled out in the back of a truck at night. She said they still had relatives in Iran, who told them that her family was on the government's "death list", broadcast on state TV each night. Being on the wrong side of an oppressive regime is a nightmare. God bless the Jews and everyone else who has escape persecution.

As a Kurd from Erbil/Hawler, capital of the Kurdistan Region of iraq, i stand with my brothers and sisters of Jewish people, Jewish Kurds, Israel and the IDF. A lot of Kurds might have lineages of Jewish descent if they take dna and gene tests, due to forced islamification and arabization persecution. For me, i take pride in my Zoroastrian heritage as its great effect on monotheism, which led to the beautiful Judeo-Christian civilization.
At the center of Erbil, there is a UNESCO world heritage citadel, of which part of my family is from. Also, next to the citadel, is a historical neighborhood named in Kurdish the Jewish neighborhood. Even today, if you visit the historical neighborhood, doors with David’s Star and other beautiful Jewish artifacts can be seen of the old houses and buildings. Growing up, i always heard from my family that in the old times, everyone lived with each other in peace and there all kinds of neighbors and traders and even mixed family relations.
As a Kurd, my home, food, and safety will always be open for all Jewish people, as it’s historically been in Kurdistan and will always stay that way. Towards all and everyone, no matter their background and beliefs.
UN Watch has a great and informational video on bringing into light this real and true apartheid. Thank you Oren.

It’s noticing the strong Indian support for Israel that made me not accept the things I was seeing in the news. In Australia I’ve generally stuck to the public broadcasters. On many things they seem most balanced. I don’t want to rely on murdoch owned media because that’s too far right and too sensationalist for me most of the time, so I’ve been relying on the Indian news quite a bit. It’s really interesting. One thing I noticed was that in the story about the mine rescue I didn’t hear about the Australian guy until much later. I hope you enjoy this story if you haven’t read about it. th-cam.com/video/flzU_qu4tz8/w-d-xo.html This is the world I want to live on, where people look out for each others humanity, not want to kill them over a difference of belief.

As a Mizrahi Jew, I always found it weird people never talked about our history when speaking about inequality, pogroms or ethnic cleansing.
It is weird it is not mentioned when talking about Jewish history and persecution in general.
Even in Israel this isn't so much part of our history lessons.
I learned about things like the holocaust and pogroms in lybia, the farhud in the middle east,
And the story of sulika (sol),
by listening to mizrahi people families and cultural centers, and by doing some personal research. I also remember i was astonished to hear stories from an old family member of lynchings done to his Jewish friends in morroco.
The world seems to represent the muslim world as if it was the epitome of social justice equality and liberal values for some reason.

When I was at University, my friend, who was studying History and Politics, was told by his Lebanese professor that the Jews were never persecuted in Muslim countries. I was left to argue that wasn't true (which was extremely difficult considering I was arguing against the authority of his professor with limited knowledge). I hope this video becomes a resource for people who end up in similar situations.

Well you gotta know that not all religions practicers are saints even how great or kind a religion is and....theres always negativity everywhere no matter if youre muslim, jews, christians or so on. Whats important is to know how to coexist with others who are different rather than trying to point fingers to other people of what theyre wrong. As a muslim myself, we are teach to hate the sin not the sinner, so, same with this palestine-Israsl conflict, I do actually hate israel no matter what people say but I dont hate the jews, (not saying jews are sinners, just from my pov) as theyre humans afterall....nobody's perfect

Since the Mogul Muslim invasion of India in 1000 CE over 200 million Hindus, Jains, Buddhists, Sikh & Christians have been attacked and murdered by Muslims.
Christians are constantly attacked by Pakistani Muslims. Young Christian women are routinely abducted & raped by Muslims and then forced to marry a Pakistani Muslim & convert to Islam.
Christians are routinely attacked by Pakistani Muslims who make wild claims that Christians ripped out a page of the Quran and stepped on it or that a Christian said something negative about Mohammad, etc. too frequently.
On August 16, 2023, several hundred Muslims attacked the Christian area in the city of Faisalabad, Punjab after two members of the community were accused of committing “blasphemy.” The mob, armed with stones and sticks, vandalized & set fire to several churches, dozens of houses, & destroyed a Christian cemetery. A few weeks before that they killed a Sri Lankan who they claimed blasphemed Mohammad.
The Pakistani Punjab was the heartland of Sikh people, who are routinely attacked if they leave the Indian Punjab & visit Sikh sites in Pakistan. All of the Sikh Gurus were buried in the Punjab, including Guru Nanak Dev Ji , the founder of Sikhism. The Punjabi language is the language of the Sikh people. Unfortunately, they are often attacked when they visit & pray at the burial sites of their Gurus.

Hey bro, sorry to hear that rough past regarding your forced detachment from Iran. Random question, did you parents have things or some sort of influence which was valuable to the Islamic regime? Because there are still a lot of Jews living around Iran, especially in Isfahan and I always wondered why they didn't leave. I also have heard and researched (a bit, gotta do more research) that Jewish peeps in Iran get to practice their religion and go to their synagogues as long as they don't try to influence or enter spaces regarding politics and as long as they don't start to secretly spread their beliefs and spirituality into the rest of the population in a missionary manner. I would love to know your thoughts on this.

The parts I learned late or knew very little about was 200 million Hindu killed by Muslims over 1200 years of occupation, Africans enslaved by Muslims at numbers 32x that of America, the Armenian Christian and Assyrian Christian genocide by the Turkish Muslim imperialists.
Not to even mention the Balkans, Andalusia (Spain), Rome, etc. and slaves taken from English towns, Irish towns, Iceland, and as far north as Ukraine.
Yet the only nations described as imperialist are Europeans (who fought to abolish African tribal and Islamic slavery) and now Israelis.

This video is about people like me. My mother was four years old when the family had to leave Tunis. She came to Israel after waiting for some months in an interime camp in the south of France.
In Israel she and four siblings shared a tent with her parents and one grandmother. In the harsh winter of 1950 the tent burnt down and they lost the little they had. They had lived like that for several years until enough appartment buildings were built.
My mother was forever marked by those years of extreme hardship. She was frugal, cautious, wouldn't throw anything out. She and my grandmother would sometimes stand for minutes before the radio, trying to pick up a radio station with the songs they loved, songs in Arabic. Like the oldtimes. And still with all that, most of this video is new to me because my mother really saw herself as newly born to this Israeli life. She never said anything about wanting to go back. Israel was her home.
It was easier for these refugees to feel at home because Israel wanted them and did everything possible to give them a new life and they had full rights. That is still not so for Palestinian refugees in Arab countries. In many places they have no rights, no chance to study, to learn a good trade, they are persecuted and forced to go on living in the refugee camps. And the West says nothing. The Jews who fled the Muslim lands were broken hearted but they were given a good future for their children. It is time the same is done for the Palestinians wherever they live, just as Israel did for those Arabs that stayed and became Israeli citizens.

In Lebanon they are not allowed to live outside the camps, they are not allowed to write a will. If they die owning anything it goes to the government. They can't buy land or go to university. A lot can be changed where they live without need for them to go anywhere else. Because the Muslim countries don't act, maybe it is time for the West to tell them to change things a bit.@@CynHicks

Approximately 5 percent of the Middle Eastern population identifies as Christian, down from 13 percent in the early 20th century. Cyprus stands as the only Christian majority country in the region, with Christians comprising between 76 percent and 78 percent of its total population, primarily adhering to Eastern Orthodox Christianity. Lebanon follows with around 40 percent Christians, predominantly Maronites. Egypt has the next largest proportion of Christians (mainly Copts), constituting approximately 10 percent of its total population. The Eastern Aramaic-speaking Assyrians in northern Iraq, northeastern Syria, southeastern Turkey, and parts of Iran have faced ethnic and religious persecution for centuries, with many congregating in specific areas in Iraq and Syria. P.S. -- In other words, the decline of the Christian population in the Middle East is similar to the decline of the Jewish population in the Middle East outside of Israel.

My friend's Sikh father was living in Kashmir in the mid 90's. He kept his nose clean, he wasn't a difficult person. One day he had a knock on his door by a friendly Muslim neighbor. The neighbor told him that he had to sell his home and leave. Quietly, sadly, he was told that if that didn't happen, he would be killed. The neighbor was simply a messenger from the local Mosque. So, he fled to Jammu. Living in a secular country, it is hard to comprehend how corrupting, how intrusive, religious control of government can be. Israel is an oasis of liberal democracy in a desert of authoritarian governments. Indeed there are few examples of stable democracies in Muslim countries. Muslim control of government degenerates into authoritarianism, even recently in Turkiye and Tunisia. Strangely, when Muslim refugees seek to resettle, they prefer secular refuge elsewhere.

I only discovered the painstaking effort to relocate when a cousin of my safta wept at a Purim party thanking her father for helping smuggle their peniless family out of Iraq. My great grandmother died en route and my then 14-yo grandmother could not attend school and had to take on the mother role. She was a nurse tending to Israeli soldiers wounded in the 1948 war. With no formal education she was truly the wisest, humblest, most kind&generous person I ever have known. He also mentions Rabbi Abulafia who maybe was of Moroccan decent but was born in Hebron and helped build Tiberias but that's 16th-17th century.

Only from Arab countries? beside the pogroms across the Middle East and the Farhud in Iraq, Arabs cleansed Jewish communities in the Levant (land of Israel) under the Ottoman Islamic occupation and the British mandate. Most of todays Arab only cities were Jewish majority communities for centuries, Gaza is a prime example, was a Jewish majority city that was cleansed with consistence aggression and violence by the Arab migration that arrived to the region, the Jewish lineage in the city of Gaza ended in 1929 massacres across the region that caused the last 70 Jewish families to flee the city and the Arabs destroyed the Jewish quarter.

As a Brit i feel ashamed of how we managed the mandate.
I think part of it was likely real politick. We needed the arabs to help us fight the turks in ww1 and made promises to them that we were then forced to keep after the war.
But we signed on in the 19th century along with the turks and the arabs to set aside land for a jewish state in the levant. And we failed to keep that agreement for almost a century. And even tried to keep the ships from docking with jewish migrants and refugees after ww2.
I do sometimes wonder if things might have turned out better if we had allowed the ottoman empire to stay intact after ww1, but then history shows the ottomans never really made any effort to give jews a homeland either. They sold land to various jewish communities around jerusalem but they never did anything to protect those communities from persecution or pogroms so maybe things would be even worse...

And despite the fact the League of Nations reaffirmed the land as being intended for jewish settlement.
The UN mandate that became the 2 state solution came about because the UN was bound by its own founding treaties to abide by those of its predecessor organisation, so as the League of Nations had promised the land to the Jews in the 1920s the United Nations had to follow through on that promise.

Your passion for your people shows as well as your pride! I'm not Jewish but have Jewish Heritage! I'm in my 70's and have been involved with the Jewish community in Central Pa. all of my life! The Jewish community here has always been welcoming to all and have shown much support to the Hindu, Buddhist and Christian community! As a history buff I'm well aware of all the horrible things you've mentioned plus much more! It's so sad for America at this time being changed as well as challenged by the large influx of Muslims! I try not to hate anyone without cause but let me say this, I've never seen another group (religious) of people that is more infectious and toxic than the Muslims! Freedom of religion is one thing but demanding laws be changed to suit their beliefs is another! We in Central Pa support our Jewish community and have never had problems with desecration of the Jewish temples until about 15 yrs ago and that's when the Muslims purchased a once Catholic church, school and shelter for nuns, a complex of a city block, took over a retired Drs practice, opened their own supermarket and eventually purchased most of the open housing in a suburb! They purchased the largest Lutheran Church in the city as well as several other churches that had been merged! Then the influx began and our community is no longer the congenial and hospitable area I knew and loved! It's truly sad to see such a transformation and to see the Jewish community leave the city and move the temples far out of town! Sorry, I'm getting off track but I wanted to say the Jews were integrated into all aspects of our area, investing in building projects, helping to feed, cloth and house the poor, opening business's and supporting the local economy! Every Christmas they would volunteer at all the local hospitals in non skilled positions so family's could be together! They were a huge part of the charity in our area and helped us grow as people and community! That's gone and our area is now on the decline, some give to all and some only to themselves!

Nooru, I agree. L'chaim. God spoke 50 sentences to me from above. I was born March 11th in Bethlehem 61 years ago. His first words to me were 8.4.2015 morning. 11.17.2015 Eve Beach Waikiki, early evening. I sat under the stars alone. I asked God His name. He answered, Fundamentally E. I answered, energy of consciousness that suffuses everything. Every proton, neutron, electron, quark, spark of light and black hole. He answered, don't forget the science. He asked me what side of the blade are you on. I answered, the side of the righteous my words are my sword. He showed me my ascension to heaven and my baby self beamed to earth in an egg of white light. He said, make Israel one. You are anchor. Shukrun. ( to make Israel one means to bring peace and reconciliation between Jew, Christian, Muslim, cousins by Abraham).

Hi Oren, Thank you for sharing your knowledge. When I was a young boy in the 1950s in New York I heard a lot about the Holocaust because in our congregation there were survivors of the camps and my own mother had left Germany in 1933 at age 15. The stories of the Jews of the Middle East I never heard until years later. Back in 1984, I worked for a few weeks in Morocco and Tunisia. I was impressed with the Jews I met in Morocco and in fact as you mentioned one family I met were quite well off and had access to power. What I mean by that is that the 2 brothers played golf with one of the King's counselors. I attended the Shabbat services and enjoyed my time there but as you also mentioned most of the community had moved to Israel or to Canada (Quebec) by then. I didn't meet any Jewish people in Tunisia. Anyway, over the years I have learned more about the Jews of the Middle East and it is great that you present materials in the way you do here, because these stories are not easily available. I don't know of any comprehensive books on the subject.
