U must practice like 8 hours a day. U have a very good grasp of rhythm right out the gate and your picking is extremely clean, your bends are on point as well.

I've been playing for over 20 years and I can honestly say that you're a much better guitarist when it comes to the electric. On the acoustic I'm still ahead because I've been playing finger picking stuff for ages but amazing progress overall. Hard work really does pay off.

For people thinking that this level of progress is normal for a one year player it is not. For someone to progress as far as this player has in that amount of time means they have a natural affinity for the instrument. You will be doing great to play a quarter as well as he does at the end. Just know for 95% of guitarist out there it took a lot longer. Like a decade longer. To achieve some of the levels of play you see here. It is truly astounding if true.
It’s because he had some type of musical background or bass or something is off. It is completely impossible to be that good at 10 months to have that timing, rhythm, bend feel. Unless he is some kind of guitar Jesus who was blessed at the womb, something is for sure off. Regardless he is still very good
@@clippersfan8898yup. I genuinely feel something is off. The picking technique and the natural movement of the hands is nearly impossible to be that of a beginner. I teach guitar and piano to people and they don’t just pick up the instrument like shown in this video.

I already got D, A, E and Em down alright, cant change chords fast but getting there, I am using JustinGuitar youtube lessons right now. Can't play any songs yet, but working on it, I should also try playing tabs soon. Liked the Hotel California bit a lot!

True I was thinking the same think. 99% of people won’t progress that fast in first 4 months for what I have seen especially if they have never played any kind of instrument before. Good for him if it’s legit most people who are modivated to play guitar after seeing this it’s great but don’t expect the same results or you will just end up quitting in the first six months.

But I feel like my finger dexterity could progress faster if I were 20 years younger, lol! Anyway, well done!
I have 22 years old and I feel that is too late for me to learn because my family told me that I should focus on my career rather than music also whenever I pick up the guitar to learn they keep asking me to focus on my studies, not music.
@@unknown001w It's never too late and not at all at age 22. I just really committed to it about 2 years ago and I'm 28. Made good progress so far and absolutely love it. It's something I'm looking forward to everyday. It gives you a lot of joy. There was an asian guy who just started playing the piano at the beginning of his 20's. By the end of his 20's he became one of the best jazz pianists in the world. So don't give up because of your age and don't listen to people who tell you to keep away from your joy. What's your life worth if you have all the money but no joy in your life. Do what makes you happy.

That's great! I've been playing for about a year and half and my progression came with scales and chords I never really concentrated on learning song but now learning them is easier and understanding more cause of learning scales notes and chords for my first year

I think this progress is fake, i dont know any person who played Smoke on the water so clear like him. Especially at the first conntact with the guitar. Most people for first two months barely can tighten strings to the fingerboard due to the pain in fingers. Not to mention the rhythm.

When I was a kid I had a friend that could do that with any instrument it's a gift from Jesus

Recently completed my 6th month and learnt sweep picking. Was playing polyphia riffs at 4th month lol. Not as fast as Tim but getting there.
