alright so i learned that the capture cards record in 59.94 fps, so when rendering in 60 fps around 7 mins in the audio has drifted a bit, going forward all vids will be rendered in the 59.94 fps so there will be no audio drift lol.

if memory serves me right, the 2h running attack is literally instant as in the attack frames are there from the start of the animations. 10/10 weapon, the original souls series ugs.
is chase doing that thing were he cant use a catayst but uses a buff that drains hp but he just gets the buff whit out hp drain?

Pretty sure it is, yeah. The game's code is the same as the original, just updated and improved to work on the PS5. You just need high enough stats to not be over-encumbered while doing it, as the Dragon Bone Smasher just by itself is extremely heavy (it has a weight of 20.0, so you'd have to be able to manage a weight of 40.0 plus your armor if you want to dual wield them), so dual-wielding them means you need to be able to manage the weight of two of them as well as the weight of whatever armor you are wearing. It's also not possible to do so until at least NG+ since you can only get one copy of the Dragon Bone Smasher per run through the game, with it appearing in the Dragon God's boss room (and you can't actually reach it unless you are at max White World Tendency, since if you don't have maxed white tendency in the Stonefang Mines, then the path to the Dragon Bone Smasher will be blocked until the world tendency is maxed for White tendency). So this means you would need to beat the entire game once, and then defeat Phalanx, Armor Spider, & Flamelurker a second time on NG+ to be able to get two Dragon Bone Smashers.
So it's still a remake
I'm finding it highly amusing to see the various broken aspects of the original make it into the remake. I know they said they would leave some of them but it's still funny.

I don't have a ps5 or demons souls, but recently irythill is pretty barren, it takes me a while sometimes to invade, which is greatly uncharacteristic for irythill, so i would say it is pretty active
I get invasions instantly man, im actually amazed how active it is considering the lack of ps5s

All the people are in road of sacrifices and grand archives lvl 120 invasions are very busy takes like few seconds to find matches some gank squads some noobs and some honorable

When you block something that does more stam damage than you have to block, the damage goes through, also try run buffering to fix your "rolling with DBS" problem

Good stuff, love seeing this game. Although I have to admit, I think the PvP isn’t the strong point of this title. Just seems so clunky and unrefined compared to DS3. Of course that’s because DS3 has the luxury of titles like this to use as a template for improvement. Keep up the good stuff chase

The game is just new man, people will start having good builds. The game came out 7 days ago and everyone is still learning, including myself. I honestly love the pvp so far.
@@ChaseTheBro it isn't exactly new as it seems to be the exact same game from 12 years ago, same weapons and stats. Bluepoint aren't exactly the best at making multiplayer focused games, they just remade the exact same thing with gorgeous graphics

i was playing demon's souls since feb 2009 , all the dark souls games, bloodborne , the remakes and now demon's souls remake , and i never once invaded anyone, why ? because i praise the sun.
idk if it was already a feature but I like the fact that people get thrown around when getting hit by a greatsword, it really feel like it have some weight

Idk what it was, but when I was playing as a mage and invaded. I got a guy who was carrying a dragon bone smasher. He also had a blue phantom buddy with him, and I started panicking thinking I was gonna get obliterated. His friend died after one hit from my sword, and his dragon bone smasher landed a direct hit on my afterwards, and..... it took like 10hp away to my surprise and his. He went into a full on sprint immediately after seeing he only scratched me. Probably the only time I've ever felt like a boss for real was in that moment 🤣🤣🤣

I use this same build except with the Baby Nail instead of a shield. Rolling attacks and plague go brrrr

All you need is bone cursed weapon and if you want you can use gloom armor if you have the levels. This is insane in pvp as you can send them flying and a lot of the attacks can’t be interrupted ls

@sgt dornan No, it's bad because 90% of the PvP encounters are literally the same 3 builds that one shot you. And this is still early on where there's a lot of casual builds and noobs running around. Once the game "matures" you'll see only DBS and firestorm spam.
Unlike DS2 and DS3's PvP that is lightyears above DeS, there's barely any back and forth, no bait attacks, no combos, no comebacks, whoever hits the first hit in wins, either through one shots or infinite stunlocks. PvP will be dead in 6 months unless they change a lot of things.

Scrapping spear meta (against Katana/Makoto casul), Silver Moonlight (against magic casul). Demon souls really is a balance game in which every build has a counter and the best weapon is still gravity.

Yo Chase, is there any kind of weapon matchmaking in play from what you can tell so far? This will be my deciding factor in buying or not buying it. I love DS1 and I love DeS, but if they apply the same DS3 bullshit like they did in the DS1 Remastered, then this game will die just as quickly (because they essentially split the playerbase in like 4 or 5 parts and ruin everything without preventing twinking in the slightest - lose lose). This is my biggest concern by far
This does not seem to have weapon matchmaking. I believe its only soul level from my testing as well as every other players ive talked to

What's the point of invading. You don't seem to get anything from it. Unless the souls counter is incredibly delayed after defeating someone.

You know, I really want this game. It looks so good and it looks like it plays so smoothly even compared to ds3. And the fact that the characters properly react to where their weapon is and how they throw the enemy with a big swing, I love it! A true masterpiece of a game.
I hope they don’t nerf the dragon bone smasher.

I really don't like the new Cursed Weapon visual effect, looks more like a poison effect; would have preferred if they had similar visual effects to the Moonlight Sword where it actually changes the blade itself rather than add a cloud around it.

im usinng the elgato 4k 60 pro, which takes the 4k output and scales it to my 1440p monitor, thats how i managed to get it to work

DBS just nukes with the right setup
DBS has one of the highest AR in the game and he's buffing it with a spell that gives a flat 50% of that weapons AR on top of it in physical damage (no split damage).
Yeh Demon's Souls was Broken and even this isn't close to the most broken set up.
