@@music79075 it's been fixed by now, I mean I think it works IF you play on original disc without internet connection in version 1.0, check any of the guides from back then, it is the same, just has to be done offline.
yeah I think the item even despawns when you load into the game inside the box the armor's in, that's why vaati's despawned I think.

Well my game was glitched back in 2009 on the original DS. Put game down. 6 month later an online player came in my game and kindly dropped me a bladestone. Voila the Platinum Trophy !!!

I got my PS5 a week or two ago and finally played demon’s souls for the first time. I found this door on my playthrough and i was curious what it was. I heard about the ceramic coins, but never looked them up to avoid spoilers. Now that i’ve beaten the game, i’m glad i never tried to find the coins since i would have gone insane

@@BradMarmara If you continue further left in Darkroot Basin after killing the hydra, you'll eventually find a crystal golem that has someone trapped inside. Kill it, then head to Dukes Archives where you'll find another crystal golem that drops the broken pendant. Go back to Darkroot Basin where you freed the person from the golem and there should now be a portal to the first DLC level.
TBH, I think the AoTA DLC is pretty accessible provided you kill the hydra before you go to Seathe's, and of course, given that you have a tendency to explore.
@@Karan-Aujla Killing the hydra and exploring doesn't cut it, you'd have to kill the hydra and see nothing there and then decide to go back there again after quitting out of the game for some reason.

I assumed Blue Point would perfectly recreate the game AND include a stunning easter egg as well. Both expectations met. I recommend the video about the decade long quest for the last secret in Shadow of Colossus, also remade by Blue Point. Great video as always Vaati.

This is just such top quality content. Totally engrossing and I'm legit invested in this journey. So happy that I gave Elden Ring a chance and got into these amazing games after it.

It is actually really sad that so many people can't find one though =/ hope they become available soon. While the game is wonderful, this is the first Souls release that has felt lonely and bittersweet.
Given that there is a shortage of PS5's, new PS5's will ship out, which means more PS5 owners, witch means more Demon's Souls players in the future, inwhitch means pvp won't die out as quick, atleast for those who already have a PS5 :(
I agree, PvP of this game will never die, just like the one in Bloodborne Sony was smart to release this so early, everybody will play this the next 7 years of PS5 life, its like the quintessential technical benchmark for next gen
Watch the quartering's latest videos, no stock for the foreseeable future. Amazon deliveries have often not arrived or contained dog food instead of the ps5.
Hopefully they release a bigger amount of stock next time round so that there's a lot of new players in the game at the same time, I want the online to be busy when I'm finally able to cop a ps5

Probably not laughing now, considering there have been ways to duplicate them found since the initial discovery. Really, the speedruners have broken the shit out of DeS since it's release... More so than the original was broken by them.
The Tower Knight/Penetrator theme was never more fitting, as the devs constantly laugh at the community's entire suffering. XD
A way to dupe has been found, Search on reddit for "Giving away RED RUSTED KEY for PENETRATOR ARMOR set". They have been giving the key away for a few days now
This hunt was amazing! Gonna have my grand grand kids try it out in 2089, when PS5 will be available for purchase.

I remember about 10 years ago back in middle school, my good friend introduced me to Demon's Souls by saying how cool Yurt's armor was and how you could wear it. But he also told me how he would ditch it instantly if he could have the Penetrators armor. If it wasn't for him I would have never known of the souls games.
Years after , your videos are still awesome and interesting to watch, and it's weird and awesome how just a one armor set for such a massive work can be a satysfying reward because of the history it has within community.

Seriously though, trying to open this door with the community was probably one of the coolest things on the internet that I’ve been a part of.
Too bad EU couldnt really participate though. We got the PS5 on the 19th and the door was opened on the 20th. I didnt even notice the hunt for these coins since I went dark on the internet to avoid spoilers. This is why I hate different release dates. Why not release the PS5 on the 19th for every country in the world at the same time then?

@@vanyasemashev789 Yeah thats another thing that sucks... Sony should have really prepared better looking at all of the PS4 owners. Obviously most of them want to upgrade so millions of PS5s should have been produced or atleast in production to ship out not too long after release. I got lucky on Amazon Germany but its basically the same situation here than it is in every other part of the world. Many people are pissed about the current PS5 situation.

Thanks for the recommendation for sword in the storm. I looked it up when this video first came out and I now love the Rhegante series. Good Iron age celtic stories are hard to find.
After finally playing through this game, this just tells me Bluepoint were the right hands to place this remake in. To put such a well thought out, elaborate, and Soulslike bonus quest for players is such a great addition to those revisiting the game and feeling that sense of wonder again where it all began. Looking forward to whatever these guys do next and to the, probably, impending Bloodborne remake in the future.

Reminds me of the Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, about the notice of Arthur’s house being demolished “Open to the public” in a dark basement with broken stairs and a locked door that he had to smash
Incidentally, for those who never heard it answered that door in Bloodborne you can't open in the room with all the pots is the other side of the door at the end of the bridge where you fight the Cleric Beast. Someone demonstrated a few years back if you clip some shining coins through the pot room door you can run back around and see them on the other side of the bridge door.
Not sure WHY they made the door impossible to open, but there you are.
The door was on the border of 2 different loading zones in the game. When walking through the door the game would crash trying to load in the other area whilst still momentarily having the old area still loaded in. They couldnt find a way to fix this before launch so they closed off access to the door but kept it there as to create mystery around it. Hope this satisfies your curiosity :D

I just played through this game (the Remake) in about a week for the time and I loved it. It truly is a special game and I absolutely loved discovering all the initial ideas and game design choices that made it into the other games.
But since Demon's Souls feels so very tedious compared to other souls games because of how extremely rare check points are, I don't see myself going for another run or the platinum any time soon. Also no one likes online trophies in single player based games...

i’m so glad to see that the adorable end credit animation is back, and with that classic demons souls menu theme i love so much
These videos are part of the reason why i love the soulsborne titles so much. There is so much hidden in these games that it is almost impossible for you to find them on your own. It is a community effort, linked to the online nature of these games. I remember when demons souls came out in asia and you had to import it to even play it in europe. The first demons souls wiki was born and people found out about all these weird things like world and character tendency. There wasn't a week without crazy findings. It was the most fun time i ever had with video games period. I cannot remember any other game that had so much time and effort put into things that the entire community had to work on together to have a chance in finding the secrets. It was a fascinating treasure hunt that has persisted in all soulsborne titles. Can't wait for elden ring.

I didn't bother looking at any info on Demon's Souls when it released because I just played it instead, but I didn't know this was a thing. I've never seen it brought up anywhere (I don't frequent souls message boards) so it's interesting to know! Just seen the pinned comment about another 2 being found, so I think I'll try this out as I'm currently doing my clean up before moving to NG+ on a save that I had started recently.
I love all the treasure hunts and secrets that Bluepoint adds to their remasters. It's weird that a company that mainly works on Ports and Remasters can still put so much love into the products they make.

@@VaatiVidya Bluepoint was so ahead of TH-camrs and Speedrunners, that not only did they create an invisible wall to block out hackers ... they knew people would pose for the thumbnails before getting the item. There's a reason the key stays with you in NG+ as a reminder to grab the item ;) lol
This is one of the reasons I love this community so much someone discovers something new and everyone in the community immediately jumps up ready to help figure out the ins and outs of this new discovery to figure out exactly what it means sharing a love for a series that I’m sure when creating them from soft had no idea the amount of love and support the series would get it’s truly a beautiful thing we have here as a community as a family United by are love for a video game of all things so even though I know from soft will never see this but truly honestly from the bottom of my heart I thank you for the great people friends and enemies I made throughout the game and throughout the community the souls games have changed my life and I could only imagine so many countless others so once again from soft thank you for giving a damn about your games about your community I hope to see countless more in the future and wish nothing but the best for the company and for the amazing community they’ve developed

This is by far the coolest thing games could do, add something interesting and not letting anybody know how to get it and let the community share their thoughts and come to get the item or find rhe location, more games should do this, I was more than happy to add to the hunt 👍🏼
