There's a pear orchard in the Sacramento delta that had some pear juice turn hard. There was a bus load of drunk elementary kids during a field trip. (This was decades ago)
"I don't know how I can face the future when I know there's eight quarts of these pickles in it!" "No more carefree hours. No more doing what you want, whenever you want. No more peanut butter and jelly sandwiches."
"Everyone knows the petula-oblongata isn't in your leg...........it's in your brain". Forgive me if that quote isn't exactly correct, it's from the "hobo" episode.
So many great lines here we use all the time at our house. My favorite of all time...Ernest T. Bass talking about his plan for a gold tooth standing out.. "Especially when I'm dancin' "
In my humble opinion, this was the greatest comedy show of all time! Funny, but also serious with a moral, such as Opie and the baby birds, or Mr. McFebbie. Great casting, stories. Was really no way to take offense to anything but l would imagine today may have a touchy time with Otis and the Darlings. But done all in good fun and humor! RIP to those who have passed on to the Mayberry above!
"Crowd me Bernie, crowd me." From fun girls episode. I use this whenever I'm in a crowded situation or to tease my hubby. One more From fun girls "Hello doll."
Hudge talking about his "loaded" goat eating dynamite: "Well, ain't that the way it always is, first time he goes to town and he thinks he's got to do everything."
I find myself saying "get them girls out of here. GET THEM GIRLS OUT OF HERE!"🤣 And "shoobee shoobee shoobee" My son and I we share these laughs frequently 🤣
No, no, no but I do believe in Opie. Episode 66 Mr. McBeevee when Andy is coming downstairs and telling Barney and Aunt Bee that after Barney asked him if he had given him a whoppin'. I have seen that episode 500 times at least and cry at that scene every time. It has so much meaning for Opie to have Andy believe him. That is what is missing in today's society.
My wife grew up in the 50's & 60's in a small country town alot like Mayberry with a Sheriff and a Deputy (with one squad car).. one Barber, one gas station with one Mechanic. She often would say or do something that was so "Mayberry".. so I would say "you beat all Barney.. you know that!" And she would fire back - "you're a real Goober you know that!". Lol.. the Andy Griffith show was more than entertaining.. it was unpretentious ordinary people with with extraordinary values, dignity and a strong sense of right & wrong! 👍
"How do you do Mrs. Wi-ley." -Earnest T. Bass
"I'm gonna go home, have me a little nap, and then go over to Thelma Lou's and watch a little TV."
Then do it man, _do it!_
Yeah that's what I think I'll do.

“If I have to get out of this bed!”
Andy: “You know anything about cuttin’ meat?”

She’s just like you said, she’s nice real nice
We've used this many times at work. She's nice. Every old man around knew what we were saying.

The "Here at the rock" speech should be ranked higher. It's one of my favorite bits in the whole series.
"Obey all rules!"
Nature has been real good to you. I mean REAL REAL good.
Good ole Briscoe Darling “More power to ya!”

"Everyone knows the petula-oblongata isn't in your leg...........it's in your brain".
Forgive me if that quote isn't exactly correct, it's from the "hobo" episode.
“Look Barn! They’re doin’ it! They’re doin’ it!”
now we know why Andy and Helen HAD to get married....just sayin😄

Mine too! I laugh every time I watch it.
“I got the bullet right here in my pocket”
"Slow it down and let me in or I'll go out and get some gin!"- Otis Campbell
“NOW CUT THAT OUT!”
"Call the doctor, call the nurse, call the lady with the alligator purse!"
Lots of luck to you and yours!
