- Here's the first Trivium cover I've done in a very long time! It's one of my favorites from the Shogun album. Tuning is B standard.

My childhood best friend and I used to watch your Trivium covers back in middle school and now we’re all grown up.
I remember trying to learn Suffocating Sight when I was like 15 and getting so frustrated with the right-handed acrobatics, but thinking, “this guy can do it so I totally can”
And I did. I kicked that song’s ass (just not the solo…yet)
So thank you Mr. Buckeye, you inspired me to be a better guitarist.

Love this choice, the whole Shogun album is so criminally underrated. Definitely one of the ones that got me into metal, and inspired me to learn the guitar myself. That 7-string stuff just hits different.

I first found you over 15 years ago when I was in college. Some of the best covers of songs that I was into during that time. You haven't missed a beat. Still as awesome as ever, if not better now. The Sound of Truth and The Air That I Breathe were some of my favorites.
