The MacBook Air M3 is my first Apple computer. I made a short video after I got it, but I'm still learning how to use the system. I'm looking forward to the surprises that the MacBook Air will bring me.😍
Great vid. I’ve had the base model M2 air 15” since it came out and I love it. I usually use it for school stuff and general web browsing, so I don’t really notice the lack of RAM or storage, but I’m sure if you did more than you would definitely notice.
Nikias Molina back again with another video reassuring me that yes I did indeed make the right decision for myself with my tech purchases. (Seriously, every time I pick up, like, the latest non-pro iphone and I'm wondering "hmmm did I NEED the extra features?" out you come with a video saying "relax, the exact tech you purchased for an already [let's be real] kinda ridiculous price, is just fine.")
HI help me please, , since this is my first macbook. ... macbook air m3 13' (8core cpu 10core gpu) 24/512gb vs macbook pro m3 14' (8core cpu 10core gpu) 8/512gb ... is it good if wanted to use macbook air m3 for graphic design work with minor youtube video editings. i need the air lightness to go everywhere , and seems the specs is similar to both and the budget is the same. only can afford baseline pro model. my bet is on m3 air since i can get more RAM with 24gb for doing tasks. is it good?
Definitely get more RAM. The more RAM and storage you have, the better.I have a M2 MacBook Air base model, I just use it for basic things. If I open a couple of Safari tabs with one or two apps open, it states that my RAM is full.
Nikias, i could use some advice - I bought a base model m3 MacBook Air and it over heated and drained battery insanely. I’m not sure what I did I’m just a high school student. With a lot of tabs open, multitasking. That’s all. What MacBook should I get.
Longevity-wise, I get the starlight, it would hold better overtime. but if you can really take care of the MacBook, midnight is a good colour just gotta be aware of fingerprints
I want to do it too i have a question bruh im like 18 turned few months ago and i have no experience in it and i want to produce music can i do it? Like I’ll learn ofc from videos is it to late?
Don’t like my MB 14” pro. Way too heavy, thick and the cooling slots on both sides are sharp and hurt me. Gonna switch to the 13” Air. Display isn’t that good, but the whole package obviously much better eventually.
Display is the only reason why i would always go for pro instead of iar, mini led is just much better than the trash on Air if you wtach videos on it its yuck
I don’t get how people call the pro heavy. It’s just 3.5 lbs, can barely feel it in a backpack. Clearly haven’t used a Dell precision or anything like that if a MacBook Pro is heavy
I love the MacBook air 15 inch M3. Works great for all the things you mentioned. Great for a piano computer, learning while watching. Loved the video! Keep it up kiddo! xo
Hello guys. Which purchase will be better? M3 16GB 256SSD or M2 16GB 512SSD MacBook Air? Quite normal and base usage but I want to buy just good and solid product and spend my money well.
I love your videos, and i particularly love that you are fully into the Apple Eco System which makes them very authentic and satisfying for a fellow huge Apple fan like me!
is he though? Does he have the apple TV? does he have the apple time machine backup? Does he backup his phone on icloud and not external drives? I didn't think so.
You forgot to talk about the fact taht it is only 8 gigs of ram wich is not enough for most people and if you want more of it then it becomes even more expensive
you don't need 16gigs of ram, you think you do but you don't. This laptop is for most people. If you REALLY need 16gigs then you know you shouldn't be considering the Air.
🤷♂️. My M2 15” Air has 8GB of ram, and it’s been more than sufficient for me and what basic needs I use it for. I tend to think I’m in the majority, not minority, but who knows.
I would be considering buying a MacBook with 8 GB of RAM for university (therefore to use office programs and surf the internet). Do you recommend it to me? Do you use your computer without any limits due to the 8 GB?
I have used an MB Pro 13 M1 with 8GB for 3.5 years with no issues. I think you mix up your needs with the needs of the majority of people who use it as intended: an ultrabook. The base MB Air makes up >60% of sales, so the price is far more relevant than RAM, and that is why the Air has been the best-selling laptop every quarter since it was launched.
I'm 15 and broke But if I could, I'd get an M3 Pro Macbook Pro 16 512 An iPad 10th Gen or Air 256GB An iPhone 15 128 Airpods Pro 2 And a Series 8 Watch Cellular
It's premium and in line with rivals. The Surface Laptop 6 is the same price for 8GB/256GB but costs £300 to upgrade to 16GB of RAM (apple £200, and you also get two extra GPU cores). So, it's not ridiculous, its competitive in the premium sector. Obviously, mid-range and budget laptops will be better value.
@@andyH_England Microsoft products are also ridiculous and actually worse than Apple in many respects. I don't disagree with you there. However two wrongs don't make a right. £1500 for a MacBook Air 13 with 16 GB RAM. Ridiculous. The competition is offering 1TB storage and OLED screen technology for similar prices. You can also get 32 GB RAM for the same money with Windows and with very good build quality these days. Windows laptops are catching up fast and I think Apple need to do much more. I have a MacBook Pro 13 M2 so I am not some Windows fanatic. But I did buy mine with a 20% sale at John Lewis. This is the only thing that made the purchase bearable. After a year of use, I am having to put up with the spinning beach ball more frequently. The performance with 8 GB just isn't really good enough and that is on me obclviosly. The newer version of mine (MacBook Pro 14 M3) is now £1700 in the UK with 8 8GB of RAM. It's laughable. 8GB of Ram. I mean come on.
@@theflyingscott1 Apple has always been expensive as they have higher costs due to having their own chips and software. This has been since forever, so people should know this and stop complaining. Waste of time, just an "influencer" video. Pretty clothes, but filler words and has two sentences worth of actual content
Next week - “Why I was So Wrong about the MacBooks”
Just ordered it! Wohoooo
I’m a med student, I do create content also, Should I buy the air for study and video editing?
yes.
But for content 16gb of ram is minimum, because with 8gb you ssd will die in 1year or so.
Rockin a M2 MacBook Pro 13 with Touch Bar 16/512 loves it
Could never understand this hang up about fingerprints. Just take a cloth and wipe them off.
Some people just want to have their tech to look clean without having to wipe it after each usage. It’s more convenient to go with the silver one….
The thing is that it doesn’t last clean enough
