Zidane Platini Benzema is most definitely one of the best of all time. In terms of strikers. He has scored more club career goals than any other Frenchman and im sure his assists are definitely podium worthy. If his International career had not been halted he would of been a World Champion for sure and he would be most definitely France's top scorer infront of Henry now after missing 6 full years of International football which include Euro 2016 & WC 2018. He has 458 Career goals so almost at the 500+ goal scorer status.
He is the 9th all time scorer in La Liga History, highest scoring Frenchman in La Liga with 218 league goals just a dozen goals away from the likes of Di Stefano Raul Gonzalez and Mexico's greatest Hugo Sanchez and the legendary Telmo Zarra at 25q which are the highest scorers in the game in La Liga if you do not count Messi and Ronaldo.

Thierry Henry was a great player and I probably think one of the best strikers.
But I think Benzema is better in terms of the consistency and quality in big games. They both can be a playmaker and Henry was so much faster, but aged Benzema is much more clinical in the box and more threatening than Henry.
And Son is clearly more important than Kane I'm not just talking about it cause he has more goals but he is the reason why spurs are fighting for 4th place. Your asking English pundits that question of course you'll get an answer of Kane.

Probably top 10. But for me Zidane, Henry and Platini are definitely clear. Then you still have players like Patrick Vieira, Makelele, Ngolo Kante who were all considered the best defensive mids in the world in their time. Then you still have players like Jean Pierre Papin who was a Ballon d'Or winner. Players like Desailly and Thuram were considered the best defenders in their era. At an actual time where world class defenders were plentiful. In a era where physicality was actually allowed.
Don't let numbers fool you. Attacking numbers have been on the rise all across the board over the last 12-15 years or so. Because the emphasis now is on attacking. From the tactics, pressing up high and winning the ball in favorable positions, to rule changes, etc. 40+ goal season is not the same thing it was in the 90s when defenders were actually allowed to defend and when many teams sat back and didn't mind playing for 1-nil results. That's why players like Lewy, Benz and Ibra all hit their primes in their 30s or well into their 30s. It's not because they magically hit another level, it's because the defending is so much worse now. Even goalkeepers and centre back are judged by their "ball playing" ability instead of their actual defending which is what their positions should be and always were all about. This is why EPL, Serie A, La Liga and Bundesliga goal records were all shattered over the last 12 years or so.
Benzema is great but for me he doesn't touch Zidane, Platini or Henry. Those guys would have a field day in today's era.

The collapse of Everton started with the fans, their ego was 1st before the success of the club. Even if Benitez was bad, was he worse than Lampard? No & when Benitez was fired... it became way, way worse. If Everton fans supported the team & started to protest after the season was over, then maybe they'd be safe from relegation.
It's true that the owner is a disaster but all he was at fault making poor foundations/pillars... the fans were ones who created a landslide that lead to drama which further hurt the team/club. Benitez should have been sacked earlier or later, the fans got him sacked in the worst possible scenario & thus was the result.
