This is one of the most satisfying and best moments in black clover. It just shows how much Asta has grown. Seeing him plowing through so many sorcerers that would once give him trouble in the past without breaking a sweat.

I love how as the series progressed it went from, strong man with sword, to strong man with sword and the ability to reflect/negate magic, to strong man with anti-magic form, to now where anti-magic may as well be a type of magic all together because now he's basically doing magic shit with flying, projectiles, Anti-Mana-Skin. Literally just a different form of magic at this point.
The anti magic bulleshit os jist magic rebranded. It just has a different word, thats all. If i see someone fly and shoot energy beams out of their sword, grow dark magic wings, thats as magic as you can get.
yeah but i think the difference is he needs the swords/grimore to pocess the anti magic. a typical mage has mana even before they have their grimore !

@@_graiderz2462 If I'm being generous, it could count as "not magic" by pure technicality. Like Asta can pretty much ONLY interact with anti-magic, and all other magical "things" are functionally worthless if he's the one touching it.
So "not magic", but hardly lesser because of it. I mean anti-matter isn't matter, but it still packs the most devastating force behind the explosions if it comes into contact with mainline matter. Different properties, but not "ineffective", y'know?
So like "magic", but magic fundamentally opposed on some fundamental physics-reason to the local magic.

Anti magic is more likely a defense mechanism a person develops after exposure to large quantities of Mana. Having Liebe's anti magic flowing has balanced and prevented Asta from developing his own
@@pandiprakash8135 I don't think so, it doesn't work like that, his mother sucked all his magic, for plot reasons he didn't gain it back and for pure coincidence he got a grimoire with a devil inside that developed anti magic, I doubt tabata will go deep in that but I wish tabata would have dropped that devil thing inside grimoire and gave Asta anti magic as his ability

Show was dropped at ep177 (iirc) due to running out of source material, they're supposed to be doing a movie to finish up the dark triad arc however they have to finish writing the arc first 😅 been a couple weeks since I've checked on the manga but it looked like it had a few chapters left in it

I'm watching the series on Crunchyroll; I'm at episode 47, and WOW... Asta is a totally different kind of badass in this clip! Man! He has become a holy terror! Compared to what I'm seeing now, he's not at Captain level yet, but he's starting to look like one! I'm looking forward to seeing how he gets here! I thought anti-magic was a cool ability in a world full of people who use magic, but I wasn't sure how it'd develop. Looks like I have a lot to look forward to!
Hes captain level if you compare him with the ones in ep 47. By the time you hit the timeskip, there's new level of power that far exceeds the ep 47 "captain level"
