Something like this would be considered 'flat color' for me. The amount of shading I do is just to show the boundaries that blend, like the leg and the body. The other thing is the people who commission me don't normally pay for shading. :P

I want to do digital art tho, but I have no idea how x.x Ugh Anyway, if you can tell me a good beginner program for digital art, and maybe some tips, that would be great! Thanks! Your awesome! :D
+Christina Aniolek I have 2 programs and they are good. "Photo shop"(fox is drawing there) and "paint tool say". If you want to paint jn photoshop so first you need to learn ALOT of it before start. So yeah. Get lucky!

Other than that the programs I can suggest are Paint Tool SAI, which seems to be a very popular among artists due to it's editable lines and good blending tools. The other one I've heard about but never tried myself is GIMP. SAI and GIMP are either free or very cheap, so take a look at those. :3

Have you ever thought about making a Homestuck character as a pony, and then making them 'God Tier' in Rainbow Power?
