The men done an amazing job! Watching this thing come together was awesome 😎
Nice!!
Thanks for supporting the Aluminium industry Nato and Milan :) looks awesome.
Easy as man. Thanks for watching 😎
Fark that's one hot lookin set up boys. Wicked workmanship by the builders
These guys are real engineers 😎 been a joy to watch them work 👍
Boat and trailer are looking epic guys, can't wait to see it on the water
That will be a glorious day 😎
That is wicked, what a speccy lookin trailer, those lads have done a beautiful job, the whole lot is just pure joy.
Amazing job alright! Awesome group of guys 👍😎
One sweet fishing weapon and that trailer looks stealth and clean awesome stuff
The trailer is insane cool, so looks the part 👍
That is one bloody nice trailer! I've been looking at all the major Ali trailers builders for the next boat build and that there is without doubt the best Ali trailer I have seen anywhere and by a long way.
Well that is good to hear my man (considering it’s our trailer 😂) you can have one to you know 👍😎 email Dayne at dayne@marcoboats.co.nz thanks for watching mate! Really appreciate the feed back 😁
@@TheLateralLine Enjoy watching your vids, good luck with the new show and boat. Will be sure to call Mako when I'm ready to press the button 👍
Thank you for that my man! Really appreciate the support 😎👍
Wow, that thing looks sick! Great to see this all coming together for you boys. You deserve it!
Thank you my man. This boat is our dream machine 👍
The Lateral Line its mine too! Difference is, I'll have to keep dreaming 😂😂
Keep dreaming my man and I hope it comes true for you one day as it has for us 👍😎😁
What a Beast ! Must be getting close now guys looking forward to seeing your Maiden voyage.
Enjoying every aspect of your adventure. Stay safe and well
Thank you mate. I watched the motor get bolted on yesterday 😎 it’s coming together really fast at the moment! So glad you are enjoying the lateral line! Thanks for watching 😳
What an awesome trailer. And how good does that boat look!!!!!
Looks even better on that trailer 😁
looks absolutely stunning boys!!!
Cheers mate! We are super happy with it 👍
Boat is looking amazing and the trailer takes it to a whole other level🤘💯😎 cant wait to see ull on the water bros👍👍
Thanks man, we are so happy with it all 😎 boat and trailer together looks fantastic 😁
No 1 in Fishing in the WORLD 🌎👍😊🏁💯
We are very lucky here in NZ 😎
Bang on the galv having a lifespan, we just rebuilt our trailer last year, stripped, sandblasted, regalved and all new hardware.
Sure it cost a bit but it was waaaay less than a new trailer.
An alloy trailer like that is the dream 👍
Yer, it is what it is man. I never knew it was there to degrade. I thought if you looked after a galve trailer perfectly it would last but not the case. I was sold on alloy for the simple fact that it should last the life of the boat and would never need the work you have just put into your trailer 😎
looking good!
Cheers
That is a fit trailer, last you for life!
What a beast
Definitely looks the part 👍
Wicked what a beast
Chur 👍
cant wait for sea trials
Not long now, motor went on today 😎
The Lateral Line what motor to you go with?
Went back to Suzuki 😎 we went with the 200 but this boat doesn’t need that much Power but it’s never about need a 😂 we also wanted more weight down the back as we have a huge battery bank (140kgs) just for the Minnkota up the front
The Lateral Line awesome. How long is the boat? I had a Suzuki 115 on my last boat and it was honestly the best motor I've ever had!
Wicked rig
It is now 👍
The Stoke is real lads!
Just wooow
I’ve said wow a lot over the last few months 😳
First 🤙
Yes you were 😎
That's one mean looking trailer! I've never seen that boat loader system either, that looks awesome! Would have come in handy this Tuesday when I lost my winch handle at the boat ramp! How does the alloy compare to steel in strength? Does the alloy crack over time?
It definitely looks the part. The Baylex boat loader we have had on our trailers for the last 6 or so years and just can’t go with out them now. So easy 😎
Now the cracking? I’m not sure on that one? Time will definitely tell though. We do a lot of towing and had our fair share of problems so if it can be cracked we’ll crack it 😂
Hi Ahmed, alloy trailers only crack if they flex, when aluminum flexes, over time it causes the alloy to work harden which leads to fatigue cracking, long story short, the stiffer you can make the trailer and the better you can tie the boat too it the longer it will last.
We have made this trailer VERY stiff!!
Thanks for the reply, I was aware of the work hardening, because my first boat came with a home made stainless steel trailer and after I did a bit of research I got rid of it as I was towing fairly decent distances and didn't want it failing on me. I think the key thing to note is that you design the trailer so the boat becomes part of the overall structure. It's super impressive to see the products you guys create, I'm definitely leaning towards alloy for my next trailer. Keep up the awesome work!
Cheers men 👍😎
That trailer is sick.
Can you say what the trailer weighs.
Be curious to know the weight difference to a normal steel or an I Beam aluminium trailer.
Any weight savings help with gvm especially with bigger boats to stay under 3.5T here in Aus
On the law of averages an alloy trailer (without the parts, axels, wheels, lights, springs ect) will be half the weight of the steel/galvanised constructed trailer, less the parts. I hope that makes sense????
@@TheLateralLine yeah it makes sense.
I was hoping for more like this trailer weighs roughly 600kg sort of answer haha.
Ok 😂 👍
Mean!!
..what did it set u back bro..Boat n Trailer....not including outboard
Marco boats can build a Sojourn from any where between 140k (basic model with a steel trailer) to 210k with everything our boat has including the tent. Just depends on what extras you want or don’t want? Thanks for watching
Jeeze mate, your galvanizers must do a crap job. But then I suppose nowadays they all do as zink costs money. when I used to build trailers (steel) I had them double dipped and the job was done by our local electrical supplier so they done it properly as power was free of charge. They have since closed so no local galv plant...sad! Nice looking rig but. That is one thing Kiwis do good...alloy boats.
Hey mate. I hear you on “they don’t make them like they use to” Ive heard of old as galve trailers still going strong! But our info on the galve life is from trailer builders and is fair. But keep in mind also that our trailer is twice the price of something the same size in steel. Just gotta way up the pros and cons and go with what suits you I reckon 👍 we are super happy with it and that’s all that matters to me 😂
The Lateral Line there's no way a steel trailer would ever look as sexy as that! Also, with it being effectively light weight, you will probably make up the savings on fuel for the tow vehicle over time.
For sure. I’m a big fan of alloy my man. I’d happily pay the difference 👍 so very happy with it 😎
@@TheLateralLine well the bloody thing looks a million dollars so the price you pay must be up there. Greetings from Tasmania.
Yep 🤪 but I’m happy 👍 thank you from New Zealand 😁
YeH boys
Chur
🤤
Nathan
What is the approximate cost boat and trailer with motors once all complete?
At this stage mate I’d be guessing? Our boat is way over spec ect...... Best to send an email through to dayne@marcoboats.co.nz he can give you a far more accurate number on what would suit you 😎 thanks for watching 👍
Come on guys where's the latest boat & trailer update as dying to see more :)
Yo yo 😂😂😂 we are putting the boat on the water for the first time ever. Boat videos on U-Dek flooring, upholstery, engine testing and all our electronics and that fact that they all talk to each other are coming in the next couple weeks. Hang in there my man 😂
What's the 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑 for the boat and trailer Brus?
Depends on exactly what you want but around $250 it give you an idea. If your in the market best to ring Dayne at Marco boats and he can give you a much better idea 👍 thanks for watching 😁
Shit wrong boat! Our boat is $150 plus depending on what extras.
It’s 250 plus for Luke’s 7.5 meter boat
Seriously sick Nathan, keep up the videos
X
Can’t wait to see some kingys come over the side.
PS move the camera away from you melon you see green stuff on your teeth. Only kidding.
😂😂 I’ll do my best Pete 🤪 I can’t wait for the day we are out chasing kings in our boat 😎
now thats a sexy boat trailer. i have 2 alloy boat trailers. 1 for my bass boat and the other from an aussie maker and this one bitch slaps them both. well lads. cheers.
Best comment award goes to you 😂 “ bitch slaps them both” 😂 Dayne builds a mean looking trailer, that’s for sure 👍
The Lateral Line Dayne builds a bad ass boat and trailer package. Well done to Dayne and the boys at Marco boats. 👍
Yes they do! Watching them build this thing has been very cool, in total Orr 😁
Why your videos are to short we want long videos
Ummmmm I like them short 😬 I watch TH-cam videos and they fluff on to much and I just want it to get to the point so that’s how I make our ones. Thanks for watching 😎
Hey boys get a donk on the back and get some fish in it !!!!!!!
Motor went on today 👍😎
Oh yea tha boyz I bet your frothing now!!!
It’s getting very real now my man 😁
That trailer is sex on wheels bro👍 boat looks epic too
It’s the dream machine for us man 😎
Spoilt little buggers 🤓
