- Josh and Emily designed and built the ultimate school bus conversion with an epic kitchen, pantry, secret storage throughout, and a two large work-from-home stations. As engineers, they were able to design the space to not only be functional, but also extremely efficient. Oh, AND it's gorgeous! In this video they give us an exclusive tour!

What's your favorite part of this skoolie: the roof raise, the hidden storage, the kitchen pantry, or???
Hidden storage, the office space! If they ever have any kids, there's room to expand with that back office! The lowered shower basin is sooo nice! Love the office space in the front too, that can double as sooo much kitchen counter space!
Love the kitchen pantry and the control panel for the front panel of the bus. This is such an awesome design! They thought of everything! All it's missing like many people are saying, is a deck! lol. Love those awnings. I mean they are a great team, I can imagine there would be people out there wiling to wait 2 years to get a bus made by them, charge $500k! I'm sure there would be buyers out there. So far out of all the busses I've seen, this is the tops!

Wow, agreed. As a aerospace engineer getting ready for retirement, I have been shopping used Provost bus conversions for a life on the road for 3 to 5 years. I would love this home. It just makes sense. All of it is just perfect! These guys need to do this for a living! Floor plan is pimp money. Cheers

ya the Pantry proved they're smart.
The problem with it is all the spices and oils are in clear glass and are exposed to fairly direct light. That is NOT good for them. They obviously didn’t know or understand about light sensitivity and it’s effect on them.
OMG THAT KITCHEN!!! That spice rack! That pantry! *swoon* I want to live here. I've saved this video. This is on my short-list of the best designs I've seen in my years of watching tiny home videos. This bus is what you get when two people from the engineering world put their heads together to design a home.
What a sweet couple. So kind, thoughtful, humble, an intentional. I enjoyed seeing their happiness more than the bus build. Thanks for sharing.

Just when I think I've seen it all....I haven't! Wow, beautiful, well-planned layout, expertly executed! Everything flows so well inside your school bus home. You can see that both your background and skills came in very handy! ❤️

Spices are best kept out of light. Them using clear glass is a mistake.
@@dothewubwub - You are right, I thought perhaps less spices because it would be hard to use all of them, just have the spices you use on a regular basis. It still was very well built.
@@paanne1013 I thought that too. Two people surely couldn't use that many spices up before they are past their best.
@@dothewubwub a dark curtain over that area would solve the light issue. And like with all food items "expiration dates" are based on a multitude of factors besides just dates.
Ahhh I saw their short a week ago, I'm super glad you guys covered their bus! It's sooo awesome!!! I'd say they might wanna get into building these for others. 80k for a wonderful house that also has built in travel! This is GENIUS!!!!
I thought the same thing....they should be building for others, they are very good at it.
I think with their current jobs that pay for their bus & its continued maintenance they are quite happy not killing themselves for others. That bus required phenomenal work...
It’s also $80k with not having to pay for labor… which gets expensive fast. Add $40-60k easily…
I love how the roof was elevated. I was amazed by the simplicity but rigid creation of a home but with very two comfortable offices. The kitchen and the bath rocks.

Incrediblely well designed, built and excellent finish work.. No suprise that two engineers to properly design and fabricate and having access to the type of facilities especially needed for the roof disassembly, lift and welding to tie back together. Excellent design work for the under frame work too!
My favorites are the kitchen, all the gorgeous wood and the pretty kitty! 🐈
I totally agree with you! The kitty is so beautiful and seems to love this home on wheels 🐈⬛ The kitchen is dynamic, and there are so many spices! Wow! All I have is salt, pepper, and Italian spices. But, the space is used so well. Great job and well designed!👍
@@annapacatang5079 Yours are the very same spices I started my collection with, then added Herbs d’Provance and the culinary world opened up! If you buy a good brand, like McCormick’s, it is fantastic on almost everything, especially poultry. Yum!

The amazing part is you built this for about the same money, and sometimes less, than a pick-up in today's market. 🐾🐾
DIY, access to a proper workshop, having all the required skills, tools, etc. had a lot to do with that... Thing is that still cost them, just not in the same way as paying someone else to do it for them... People have to be careful to not confuse not paying someone else with it being lower cost when you're just trading different costs. Your sweat equity is not nothing, among other costs that people are really just dismissing like the cost of the tools, access to the workshop, the time they sacrificed to the project, etc.
@ZeoCyberG 💯 Absolutely agree, I wouldn't have one without building it myself. That way if something happens out on the road, I know where and how everything was installed. My problem is lack of workspace to build it. I currently live in a city/neighborhood amd other than my driveway, have no way to do this. I could possible rent a building for a year and build it and may be what I have to do.🐾🐾

I've been looking, planning and trying to create my own build, but this is on another level. This is absolutely perfect. Only thing I have to have is an outdoor kitchen, but OMG this is PERFECT! Great job!!🐾🐾👊
You should have some sort of system where the kitchen is an indoor/ outdoor space

@@kylegonzalez5842 some people don't value outdoor cooking, but if I can be outside, that's where you'll find me, lol. However, I am not taking away the genius in their build for them. It is one of the best I have ever seen🐾🐾
@@k9rescue165 a cheap but effective way I’ve seen is just to plug in one of those grills for like pancakes there big and flat. But the idea you could cook inside and transfer food and eat outside it’s a good one

The best & thoughtful mobile tiny home I’ve seen yet!! Raising the roof was a genius decision! I don’t like eating out for multiple reasons so their kitchen would be my must have. Congratulations to this couple!

This is seriously one of the most well designed bus conversions I’ve seen.
I love the office spaces, the under-floor storage, the large bathroom, the pantry, the high ceiling, and the many small details (curtains, bathroom door, the front door, the kitchen sink, and a few more details). This one of the best skoolie so far. well done.

That is the most incredibly beautiful bus and well-thought-out plan that I have ever seen! You both should be very proud!
They did an amazing job building this! I suppose, with two engineers, one would expect it to be very well-done. I never heard of a one seat for two people driver's seat before. That's romantic. And the cat looked very happy, healthy, & content there, as well. An interesting life style to have.
And you know they checked the safety ratings properly before they just installed a jeep seat in front.

I absolutely love this build. There is so much uniqueness involved that I don’t think I have seen combined in other builds. You could always put some type of film over the bathroom door to make it cloudy instead of having to use a curtain. That way light can filter in without having to block any types of light. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.
What a wonderful skoolie!! This has to be the most spacious skoolie I have ever seen. As well, I love the clean lines. The color of the wood is perfect and the windows make it look so open. I also very much appreciate the different design with the bedroom on the side and the dual-purpose door. There's actually enough room for a reasonably-sized second office. Absolute genius!
When engineers design their own spaces, OMFG they don't miss a thing. Even the ability to make maintenace easier. So impressed in fact gobsmacked with the attention to detail,

This is an amazing bus...modern and so much space and all the working space. Fantastic! So clever and I just love it. And look at the toilet...really looks so spacitous with lots of storage. Clever idea...wish others will watch it and get some ideas. You have plenty of water and power...so wise.

Every space is utilized so well.👏👏👌👍 Everything about this bus/ home I love, the raised roof ,storage compartments, good size fridge,freezer, flushed toilet,drop bath floor ,being able to walk beside bed,soft cushions to transform into a queen size bed.,dishwasher.wow! How could I choose one. What is there not to love. Definitely one of the best models.

My jaw was on the floor the whole time. This is one of the best videos. OMG. Two engineers, the engineer bus wow so creative I like the spice racks I like everything in the air from front to back side to side underneath the bus oh my God, the shower, the water tank up under the bed they thought of everything I like the kitty litter space and cat bed,the deep freezer. Oh my goodness the fire blanket, how creative. I’m speechless. OK I’ll be talking about this to everybody.❤❤❤
These people know how to live! That spice rack says it all! I LOVE IT! That is probably my favorite part, the organization of the spices and the liquid bottles for flavors and such. I love that, it means you guys take pride in your cooking, and will always have quality dishes! Many people forget that eating well is part of a happy life, and it should not be compromised no matter where you are. Such a beautiful home. God bless you both!
Very beautiful and unique. They did an amazing job. We live in our 5th wheel full time and living tiny has become the best thing we've ever done. Everything little thing we put in our home has to have a multi purpose...most of the time lol. I know that we don't buy the useless stuff that we used to for sure. Even though we don't travel we are going to build as soon as we can and our home has made that a reality and not just a dream. Yes, we are going to build smallish😅🤗

Everything about this one is great! The one and only thing I might not have done is rebuild the dash with wood. In the event of a crash, I'd rather not be impaled by splinters.
They won't feel those splinters after they've exploded should someone hit the two propane tanks riding beside 12 gallons of gas!

This is by far THE best thought out bus build I've EVER seen and trust me I've looked at thousands of them. If you have plans for this build I would absolutely love to purchase a set if you could do them at an economic price. I'm completely smitten with this build, including the wood throughout and I'm NOT a fan if wood. You've done an absolutely remarkable job on this build.
