I have the earlier 12.9 Pro from 2017. Stupid lightning connector and old first gen pencil. It seems too big and too heavy these days. This new gen seems much more interesting. Can't wait for it to have a decent file manager! LumaFusion is great on the iPad but getting files on to it from an Android camera, ugh!

I have the 11 inch m1 pro and wish I had the 12.9 lol.. I was thinking you might get it.. Congrats on the new tool... The OLED screen really steps it up knotch.

The pencil pro is a worthy upgrade. I haven’t seen a compelling case for the incredibly expensive new iPad Pro.

Today I too traded in my iPad Pro M1 12.9” 2021 256GB for the new iPad Pro 11” M4 256GB and I’m glad I did. The 12.9” was just too big. The 11” size feels so much better for me and my use.
I definitely want to upgrade to the iPad M4 from my 6th gen underpowered iPad. I don’t upgrade often since iPads last a long time.
That would be a big upgrade.

When you compared the reflections to the previous model, you have a glass screen protector on the previous one, so of course it will show much more reflections lol
There is no better tablet. Software availability, accessories, iPad os is great, just needs a couple little tweaks. With the Magic Keyboard you don’t need a laptop if you learn the OS and gestures. Also you can output in 4k60 to a larger monitor.

@@TechOdyssey yup, taking the second camera away was an interesting trade off for the other features. I was kind of expecting them to have the iPads camera module mirror the looks of the iPhone since the rumors are saying the base 16 series camera module was going to line the cameras next to each other.
I did as well. I have just been dying for oled 🤷🏽♂️😉

It’s to bad Apple locked the nano display iPads behind the 1 terabyte models so if you want the anti reflective screen you literally have to pay 2k minimum. It’s dumb

@@TechOdyssey I would like to see an iPad mini pro version. To me the whole point of a tablet is to actually use it as a tablet. These things are basically portable MacBooks that won’t run Mac OS even though they’re obviously perfectly capable of it.

Just a tip. Avoid to much clutter in your frame. So try to frame it so the clutter on your floor is not visible. Else i like you video very much!:)

The Pro is not intended to be a laptop replacement, your old 13 inch Pro is too big, heavy + unwieldy, you want to work with FCP on the tablet, at the end of the video you (as a content creator) call the M4 11 inch Pro “a different tool “ for your workflow. 13-inch tablets are also too big for me, heavy and unwieldy, but I neither edit videos nor edit photos on the tablet - in these two scenarios the larger display definitely makes sense. In order to use FCP effectively, a keyboard would make sense again...😀

@@Trevor_ink oh, because iOS or iPad OS as someone in here pointed out has an actual browser that is capable of running uBlock origin? There are also a myriad of other extensions that I will just not have access to. Sorry, but iPads are jokes for actual work. It also isn't allowed to run certain apps that I've been using since Windows mobile 5, for instance, I can't torrent an OS if I want to. It struggles or just straight up doesn't playback certain file formats or it just spits out the file in 16 bit instead of 24 bit. At least you clowns finally have something similar to a file browser. It also still doesn't even multitask. I also can't write code on icrap OS either. Not that the stupid thing isn't capable but because big brother Apple said, "no" and you clowns just accepted that. The reason it can't do anything that I'd need is because Apple wants clowns like you to buy all their devices instead of just one and you see nothing wrong with that, that's what's sad here. I'm sorry, the iPad is only good for streaming from Hulu and TH-cam and the like. Maybe it can do video editing, which I don't care for but Android is more than capable of doing that. I also can't write code on iOS which is another thing that I do. Also, how is it a bad trade if I paid $220 for the video pad and I got the Pixel tablet that doesn't have the crap known as Siri on it and costs $400? In your ret@rded mind $220> $400, isn't it?

Such a disappointment again, lol! My Tab S9 Ultra has a weaker chip but can handle 20x more useful features like true multitasking. Plus, it's also water resistant, which is useful when there are children around OR is you take out and about! My nephew spilled soda near mine and some got into the corner speaker, i took it and rinsed it gently so it wouldn't be sticky abs crusty in the speaker. it works perfect! Imagine if I had an iPad, nothing I could do other than absorb what was visible? I'll wait for the Tab S10 Ultra!

Actually, a "great investment decision" would be to buy Apple stock -- at the right price, holding it for the long term, while reinvesting the dividend & using prudent risk-management tools (** "Not official investment advice" 😊).
Tech products are NOT investments, as they nearly always only depreciate in value. But FWIW, Samsung devices are as good or better than Apple products in a number of areas.
@@sharkfintech5893 it’s possible to do both. iPad Pro is the tool that generates the income that can then be deployed on the stock market. Only iPad has true professional apps. Galaxy tab apps are just blown up phone apps.
