Very worthy of the Grammy it won! To me, this song was a culmination of ideas across their entire career, and also has the most powerful relentless drumming since Mangini joined them!
Mike Mangini his a Beast in this... Love him from the begining but here it a monster!! The Track for me it one of the best track they have done of the new material.. (big fan of them since 1999 )
My dudes! Such a good review/reaction. Thank you ^^ I really like this seen as a "continuation" to Pale Blue Dot. Who's out there to save them from the Aliens? Crazy but Rad song! Mangini is the perfect fit for the technical maturity of the band. I'm hyped for this new album and Jinjer's Wallflowers!
I may be years late, but have you two ever heard of a band called Bad Salad? They did a single album (called Uncivilized) and then a small EP (called Puzzled,) and they're very, very like this song in sound. Heavily inspired by Dream Theater. If you haven't heard of them, I'd love to see you do a reaction to their songs! Luckily you can listen to them pretty solidly in chronological order, starting with Crowded Sky (track 1 on the album.)
Never heard of them. Added this song to the suggestions list. If they're DT-ish they should be cool. Thanks for watching and for the suggestion. /Andrei
You won’t get any hate from me. Dream theater is my favorite band and I love this song so much I’ve listened to it about 30 times already. And I also love the drumming I’ve always loved Mike Mangini from the beginning
@@nedrini1387 I head "The Gift of Music" and "Our New World" and they didn't blow me away but they sounded neat. I know many people didn't like it though. /Andrei
Superb choice guys ! A group that I love ! They make me dream so much. Dream Thater "Images and Words", one of the greatest album of all time ! I was 20 when it was released in 1992. James LaBrie, Kevin Moore replaced by Jordan Rudess, John Myung, John Petrucci and Mike Portnoy replaced by Mike Mangini. These musicians are MONSTERS. I really like to hear them on stage, what a power their music. Thank you Andrei and George "Mangini" for a great time ! 💗🤘🤘🤘
Dream Theater makes you dream LOL! I think that one, Awake and Distance over Time are the only albums I heard from them in full. I saw them during the Images, Words and Beyond tour so and that was epic! Thank you for watching! Glad you enjoyed! /Andrei
Think you might know that am not a huge fan of Dream Theater… bot i have to admit that this song left me surprised! I did really enjoy it actually!😛 Might be because I’m listening to more prog, or juste the song… but I will Check out this album when it comes out!! Awesome review as always guys!!🤘
Glad you liked a song from a band you don't fancy. I could think it's cos it's actually a good song but I'll tell myself it's actually just cos you like us hehe! /Andrei

Definitely a strong track and Mangini is definitely a beast! Glad to know you like the song. Thanks for checking us out! /Andrei
My very favourite band
Thanks for the reaction! That solo from 08:24 is actually unison between Jordan and Mr Petrucci all the way to the guitarsolo.
I wouldn't know, just made it like it sounded to me. Thanks for the pointer. /Andrei
Thank you, guys, for doing this so quick! Currently, i have this song on repeat
Ur welcome! Glad u likes. DT are great! /Andrei

@@thewindmillfullovcorpses Well… I’ll let you choose the answer😛😁💙
This sounds so familiar, lacks some heavenly vocal melodies and maybe more 8 string. Decent song too, great drumming tho
Hail Mangini! /Andrei
A little more volume.
React some more Takatak too😇
Would be great! We'll see. /Andrei
Day 24 of me asking for "Mick Gordon - Inferno (Cinder's Theme)"
