- Jones matched a career high with 15.5 sacks in the 2022 regular season (highest among DTs), also tacking on another two during the playoffs on the way to his second Super Bowl ring. For his efforts, PFF ranked Jones as the best interior defender in the league, and he was rewarded for his play with his fourth-consecutive Pro Bowl selection and a third-place finish in Defensive Player of the Year voting.

Chris "Stone Cold" Jones, future Hall of Famer with the most memorable combine moment of all time.
Lmaooo fr
The name Chris Jones and the word combine will be linked together for life. 🤣
Thank you for this video! I’m a lifelong chiefs fan and I really enjoyed it! Chris is just one in the long line of truly exceptional Chiefs players. If you get the chance, there are some other Chiefs players that are 100% worth a video: The Nigerian Nightmare (Christian Okoye), The Human Joystick/X-factor (Dante Hall), and Joe Delaney (an absolute hero, rip 🙏). The Chiefs have been touched by some truly amazing people!
Deion Dawkins totally looked like AD for a second there, it got me too 😂
He’s so important that the only game he missed this season ended up in a loss against the lions
You should watch the Kelce podcast with Chris Jones as a guest to hear Jason's take on Chris. It's also a hilarious episode.
Jason, one thing you missed in your rugby vs NFL coaches is that the ones getting their players fired up are the position coaches, because specialist players require specialist coaching. In fact, one of the things that makes Jones special is that he's a DT who learned to also play from the DE position. DTs generally don't or can't do that, so you coach a DT differently than a DE/EDGE. Rugby players are, as you said, generalists, so it's impossible to mentally lock into a specific set of skills, since you have to change skillsets frequently.
Of course, less face time with their coaches is the biggest thing, but the mental aspects are still non-trivial.
To be fair, His 40 was.... Interrupted. He had some extra.... drag, if you will.
Chris Stone Cold Jones a 2x super bowl champ after 3 appearances but he's a awesome greater player and has hall of fame on lock without a doubt he's the truth so much respect for him i say he's the real deal as well as the real Trible Chief for Kansas City
If you want a good laugh, watch the Chris Jones interview on New Heights with the Kelce brothers. Chris talks about his comb8ne run and his d*** falling out. 😂😂😂😂
