Foreign actors who will get benefits in destabilizing the region, local gangs having lots of connections who know someone who knows how to smuggle second-hand and even new guns. The border custom of every country is not without holes. It's impossible to guard an entire coast and also impossible for all officials to not accept a bribe.

This is the church in the community I used to volunteer in. Father Michel is a wonderful man and truly cares about everyone in his community. Unfortunately the hospital where they took the gunshot victim, run by Medicins Sans Frontieres, I can say nothing good about. We took a woman from our village there (ready to pay) who was 15, pregnant and going to die due to extreme high blood pressure, and the hospital refused her stating "They don't take babies." We took her to the Adventist Hospital in Diquini instead and they saved her and the baby's life. I recognize a few of the faces at the end of the video from St. Rock.

😂 you’re delusional. 3rd grade means the ninth grade of high school in Haiti. The documentary made a mistake by translating the French word “Troisieme” to the English word Third. I went to that school and I left for the U.S. in this same class and started 10th grade in HS. Now I'm in college in the United States and thriving. This school is one of the best in Haiti. You heard the documentary say it's been there since the 19th century, specifically 1865. Numerous Haitian intellectuals were students there, including writers, painters, presidents, and scientists. Haiti’s first Cardinal at the Vatican went there. Former President Rene Preval went there. Michel Trouillot, a former prominent sociologist at the University of Chicago went there.q Do your research before you assume the worst about supposed “third-world countries.”

This situation in Haiti 🇭🇹 breaks my heart. Some of the best times in my life were spent in Haiti. The first 8 years of my life was in petion-ville. Went to College Max Pennet. I miss Haití greatly. Hope to visit one day before I pass on.

As a person who has not experienced this considering the fact that I myself am Haitian is heartbreaking, and knowing that I can enjoy such luxuries in America really breaks my heart for people who don’t deserve what their going through. And really just makes me grateful for what I have, I have never visited Haiti nor do i ever plan on doing such a dangerous thing ever. All I can say for the people living in such a harsh environment is that god is within every single one of them and has a plan for each and every single person their and all over, and when the time comes god will bestow upon what is meant to happen. Everything happens for a reason, not justifying the situation in Haiti at all saying that it’s happening for a reason, but I’m praying that the situation for my fellow brothers and sisters out their gets better. It deeply hurts my heart seeing this kind of thing happen to people. All I know is that a blessing is going to happen in that place and it will happen at the right time. May god bless those souls. 🙏🛐

@@4knardoDo you think you have the right to live in the black areas of the US or the white areas of the US? That is, if a person comes from a society that looks like Haiti, why does that person deserve something so much better? You discuss Haiti as if it has nothing to do with the people of Haiti. You only discuss the suffering of Haitians, but there is also the side that this is the society that Haitians produced. Also, Haitians talked a lot about how successful their slave revolt was -- now all Haitians want to leave Haiti and they only want to move to countries that were originated by whites. Have you considered that this is what Haitians would produce in the US if the entire country was Haitian? You seem to think that every person deserves to live well without consideration for what they can produce in terms of outcomes.
