There’s an easier way to do the bug mesh on the windows. You just get a magnetic strip that you cut to length to hold the bottom of the mesh to the outside of the door. Then you open the door and tuck the sides and top around the frame of the window and close the door, and you’re done. No tape necessary and the magnetic strip can be re-used, just like the mesh. No waste.
Nice set up! There are elastic netting "socks" that slip over the doors. There are clamp on rechargeable fans which clamp to your door handles for air flow and these take up less space. Weather Tech makes full vehicle sunshades for privacy and are reversible to either cool or warm the vehicle. REI sell sleeping mats which are memory foam in a sealed wrapping and a vent. They are comfortable and two of their 21" fit side by side and are 1.5". The 26" ones are 3" thick. They roll up and tick away easily. Some of those may give you more space in there. I have this experience with the Bronco Sport's sibling the 4th gen Escape which is slightly longer.

When I first test drove I was surprised and slightly disappointed how small the inside was, as I intended to camp in occasionally. This video gives me some hope that it will be feasible without the agregious $4000 tent attachments.

Amazon has the same one but it’s 18 cubic feet for $299. Kinda pricey but I knew I’d have it my whole life so I wanted something with decent quality. LOVE THIS CARRIER!

Hey! Some people build wooden platforms or even just put flat cardboard under their mattress. It’s not so annoying to me but I do take my trunk divider, open it up flat on the floor of the truck. That will give about 1 inch more elevation in the back to even out the higher seats. Hope that helps!!
You know I wanted them to come out with a green bronco before they announced it as a color but I don’t like the metallic part of it too much.. I’d prefer just a nice deep green color.

Hi Leslie, I haven’t heard of any windshield cracking issues from anyone. Mine have been fine and I’m just always careful not to kick a window when I’m sleeping 😂

@@davidinpitt It seems like over time it will get more flat but no it stays at a slight angle. You can sleep either way, head up or feet up but I like loading the very back with lots of pillows and it all balances out in the end. I almost make it like a lazy boy couch or a hospital bed lol My feet are up a little and my head is up a little. Play around with it! It’s not bad at all.
What nights were you at the state park? We camped there June 4th through the 7th. I am considering buy a Bronco Sport Badlands. One of my concerns its smaller that my 2015 Escape.
I agree, I wanted a specific model and color too so I had to call dealerships around the state to find what I wanted. But it’s possible! As far as the seats, they fold down ALMOST level with the trunk floor. It is a tiny bit higher, maybe an inch. My gf doesn’t even notice. I’d say not a big deal. I’ll make a video on it for you so you can see. Keep an eye out today or tomorrow.

Those are factory crossbars from Ford, made for the Bronco Sport. After comparing crossbars on Amazon, I went with Ford’s. They’re strong and in my opinion, look really good!
@@BuckinBronco Thanks for the reply! This has been a struggle because I recently got a 22 BB with a sun roof. I didn’t originally want one but it was marked lower because of it and I knew it’d be months so I went for it. Now finding crossbars that go above it is a huge pain.
OK BRO, unlike other HOW TO videos. this video gives no information on how you built the platform, did you use plywood ? How many inch thick plywood did you use ? The only thing I got out of this video was to see that it can be done, so I can try to do this in my Bronco Sport. Good to know that you did not remove the rear seats but just folded them ? Good to know the Brand of the mattress. No links, I don't know how much it cost. Full size mattress looks great. Hi :) There is no platform! Just fold the seats down and put a twin sized mattress in there. It's a twin sized. I explained the different thickness levels I tried and what I ended up with, the mattress brand and style is up to you!

Broncos don’t have remote tailgates but there’s a handle inside you can use to pull the door closed.
