One thing I would like to add is that the Genji was giving this Ashe a lot of grief when they went to pressure them up close and personal. More often than not the Genji won the close quarters engagements, so maybe figure out how to deal with those situations?
Genji is so easy to fight as Ashe … People just don’t know that they need to throw their dynamite on the ground when he’s deflecting & shoot it so he’s actively burning. Genji either 1) disengages or 2) dies due to the fact that there’s nothing for him to deflect
@grave.5254 ash best weapon against genji upclose is her coach gun. Doubles the distance when he deflects so you fight from a safer spot. If you think it's ez to 1v1 a genji upclose you haven't climb high enough.
If a genji deflects before getting close, there's your window. If he dashes at you after, he's pretty much lost it if your aim is competent. Early scoped shot tags will keep genji at bay, and coach gun up if he looks to dash you for another scoped shot. Dynamite as you need but preferably while he's at a distance. If genji has a pocket, you will most likely fold but at that point kite so the other team is facing a 3v4.

Diamond at best. Aim is still a bit inconsistent to get too far out of metal ranks. The aim is purely out of mechanical skill born from CS but if they become able to read movement, then they will shoot past diamond.
The guy has the mechanics. What is missing is the champion knowledge that will come with time. Counters and match-ups knowledge on characters. But that's top 500 aim right there if he has the patience to learn the game. One thing to point out... no flying supports will stay alive for long... he does more then a lot of dps's in gold.
Yeah their aim will get them all the way to high diamond. After that hopefully they’ll understand their ability usage and ult economy better. It’s a little annoying some people just have the aim.

Ultimate economy is a very real thing and I realize is so much more than other roles on my team since I'm a support, anytime I kiri ult TONS of ults fly after it, an ult like soldiers would make sense but then there's a mauga ult and a reaper ult and nano and then it just becomes over ulted lol
I could be wrong, but I thought earth shatter is just a straight-up conical attack which is why it can hit airborne and high ground enemies (to a certain degree).
The positioning seems good but I feel like this player may start to struggle as they climb and more and more people start to become adept at dive comps. It just doesn’t seem like the preemptive fear of the dive is there yet.
No but it definitely takes you pretty far. This Ashe should be bronce but their aim got him to gold and will probably take him all the way to diamond. Their cooldown usage and ult exonomy awareness is literally bronce level.
I feel the aim and positioning is not so bad. Should identify corners better n not rely too much on heal pocket. And definitely should not try to always 1v1 the genji. Mostly they have a disengage issue
I like this Videos. I'm old (>40), my aim and reaction is bullshit but I made it into gold with all 3 roles by understanding the game. I see also in my games a lot of players with (from my perspective) incrediable mechanics but they have no clue what is the priority in what situation. That makes OW an intersting game for me. If you want to get good you need more like aim.
I have some additional context to add to this video as I was the tank on the other team in streamer mode. This is also not what I call myself in the game. I am a bit confused on the skin because I don't use one so maybe match replay bug? So I am at this point in the video a B-2/B-1 tank. So one of two things are happening here. They were matched in a bronze lobby or I was matched with a gold lobby. Though I do remember these teams. I remember IMDOG saying some odd things along with one or two other people in voice. I also remember chasing this person and backing away not wanting to leave my team exposed to their tank. When I pinned the Sombra I was more than confused asking out loud.... "Wait where did the Sombra elim come from? Did I accidentally pen them in invis?" I was giggling the entire match just having fun. Let me be clear with you Winter, I felt more pressure from you as the Rein than your tank and team combined. You were the main person I was worried about with the pressure I felt from you. I'm just a bronze player, but I actually think you did a really good job. Other than feeling the pressure from you I remember being rather disappointed by your tank. I wasn't really feeling much pressure at all from them. My take is you lost from a tank diff. I even typed it out in team chat that I wasn't feeling much from your tank so I felt comfortable not switching at all. Even when they went Ram. I think you had a really unlucky match in terms of your team and it isn't worth thinking too much about it. Again I think you did a good job in applying pressure because you may have noticed it, but I prioritized blocking as many of your shots as possible. At times I literally ignored your tank because you were putting that much pressure on us vs your tank. Keep it up and don't let these games get you down. Just keep chugging. I would suggest also doubling in support when you can. I do that to give me more perspective as tank. Might help you with dps and seeing people maybe make the mistakes you see yourself making and correcting those naturally. Let me be clear that without you it would not have been a draw. Good job once again.
The fact is I was the tank. I was placed with plats before. Matchmaking is stupid broken right now. Look at how much the Rein focuses the Ash. Like I said they were most threatening. It doesn't matter if it was wide or not because I shouldn't have been placed with a plat lobby right? Didn't stop it from happening and I wish I could provide the code. I only went Winston at the end because I was trying to get to the point and do something. That was me in that game. I'm also more willing to say that Winter was matched to a bronze lobby and not the other way around.
I'm going to say this as well. I'm sitting here literally giving you compliments and you can't even take them because you either have an ego or you think I am clout chasing. TH-cam is the only platform I use. I don't care about being known. I noticed I was in the match and thought I would give you my side of things and give you compliments. Though I guess I can't do that can I? It's so sad that people are so obsessed with being popular that you can't even give someone a compliment or two and tell them that they were doing good. I would rather be invisible than be known. I don't care for attention and I would never say it's me if it isn't. I'm too old for that crap and it isn't worth my time.

Aim imo is THE most important aspect of DPS you need to learn, positioning is obviously necessary but that hardly requires practice to get down. But DPS once you get to plat/diamond there is a threshold where you NEED to have good aim otherwise you will not rank up, even if you main non-aim heavy heroes you need to have hitscan in your pool for the higher ranks.
This is one of the reasons i stopped playing any team game competitively solo que. I'm always so much better then my team but somehow I'm always the one getting blamed for the loss. Smite, rocket League, apex, overwatch 1, gears of war 3,5. It's like my team would be happier if i ran into bad plays and died with them. I've been blamed in smite while having 20ks no deaths because i destroyed a Phoenix instead of dying on fire giant because we didn't have the health to do it. In this game it's clearly not the cassies fault.. yet here comes ol toxic teammate
would be cool ifyou turned the volume of the replay down. love watching these videos while playing qp and the sounds get confusing :p/ just a thought. most of us are here for your comentary anyway, not the actual replay
