Last time Raiti told me I had 3 kids I didn't know about, I got a Carnival 25. Now I went straight to the door panel. Great review Sir, we appreciate your hard work.
80k for this is actually not too bad. It can't be easy to make a giant luxury suv capable of rock crawling. The problem is at the other end of the spectrum where the base model Expedition costs 63k.
Really nice exterior color choice on this one. The wheels and tires are rugged and keeping this beast looking like a boss. I personally like this rig. Fantastic review Joe.
Great review, Joe!! Ford absolutely nailed it with this Expedition! I agree with your Zonk for the crazy amount of gloss black on the rear end. But at 14:03 the Zonk for the hard plastic in the third row is tough since that area is going to take a beating from either kids, or from cargo if the third row is folded down.
Out of this whole vehicle, the split lift-gate is what got me!! Such a great idea!! Not only for grocery bags like you said, but for the inevitable spill of those gigantic two+ kid strollers being made lately. Love it. Can’t afford it, but love it lol.
The armrests for this mid-row seat are really great. You can tell at a glance. This really sets it apart from other manufacturers. When I heard about the books to put in the pockets for the mid-row seat, I thought of something: if you were to brag about reading 100 books, it would be more convincing to show the 100 paper books you've read, rather than showing a list of the e-books you've read. I hope my English was understandable, as I'm Japanese and not a native English speaker.
This thing is sick and so well designed with the accents and interior. My brother works at KTP in Louisville where these are made so it’s cool to see the next gen
That black liftgate is really odd. And I'm gonna say there are actually too many screens inside. When they have the weather displayed on the dash, you know they've run out of ideas. 🤣
Been selling my blood the past 6mos, sold bone marrow last week, and selling my left kidney next month so I can put a down payment on a ‘25 expedition tremor. So excited to be driving one, can’t wait!
I'll stick with my 2024 Expedition Timberline. I don't like how they moved the dash display up to the top. It almost looks like it's obstructing the windshield. I'd also be worried about the split rear gate. The lower gate looks a bit flimsy, and I occasionally haul plywood. I do like the sliding center console, especially the safe, does the safe come standard?
Didn't notice the fog lights when they showed this a month ago.. They look nice tucked way into the housings. One thing not available on the Tremor is the B & O Unleashed audio. That's kind of a shocker at $80k that you can't even get it at extra cost. I had a 22 F-150 Tremor and the Unleased system is far better than the standard offering.
I'd say there's enough room in those door panels for three Chick-O-Sticks, six Twizzlers, four Yoo-Hoos, and three Mallo Cups! PS: I love your reviews, and this new 2025 Ford Expedition Tremor looks magnificent!!
TFL passed by you two while they were doing a walk around. Lori was almost on the ground filming a wheel. They said you two must do yoga before you start the work day. 😆
I'm not buying a Ford or Lincoln product. Because of that gigantic screen that's on the top you can't touch it it is dangerous because you got to take your eyes off the road and it's not a touch screen so I would have easily went for a Cadillac Escalade or Infiniti QX80 and if it went against the and if the Lincoln navigator went against the QX80 the QX80 would win
The whole point of that screen is so you don't have to touch it. It's at the base of the windshield, you wouldnt want to touch it, but it sits at your eye level so everything you need is in your sight line. The screens right behind the steering wheel are actually harder to look at.
Does anyone know if the Tremor trim will be limited to the short wheel-base version ? (the same way they limited the Timberline trim to the short wheel-base version)
Great stuff as always, Joe. Love the review and the Expedition. Agree on the gloss black out back. Way too much and won't age well like most of us. Hysterical, tow 90......I got a good laugh out of that.
Very nice review. One thing I don’t like about Ford’s, is they’re really heavy into the cheap plastics. At least other competitors disguise their plastics a little better.
I like the split gate in the back. I agree with you, all the gloss black on the liftgate is a huge ZONK for me! I loved the review on the Nissan Armada Platinum Reserve... I'm thinking if I don't need the extra 700 lbs of towing, I'm going Nissan baby! Thank you!
My 19 plat has been great. I really like the split tailgate on the 25. Not a fan of the dash screens. Regarding the GM v8 vs the eco boost? If you live at altitude or travel to high altitude often the turbo factor is huge. If you don’t do high altitude and want simpler the GM is good choice. If you are crazy and like huge wagons that are quick? The GM is slow but these are big wagons sooo mehh unless your law enforcement it’s not a big deal. As for towing? Yeah I drag a big boat 2x a yr that matters and the Exp does it decently.
Totally re imagined and the utmost Sport innovative Interior I've seen in all vehicles. Ford Lincoln designs are wayyyyy ahead than these fools commenting favorite cars
Joe I got to say a lot of SUV's rn removed their wipers from the rear window, and since the first time I heard you say that I convinced 100% except german brands they still putting them why?
Every TH-cam car reviewer bashes gloss black. So why do the car manufacturers keep on using it? I would have to assume a decent percent of consumers like it. Then again, Lexus refuses to give up those horrendous spindle grills that the majority of people hate. Maybe the car companies just don't listen or there is some sort of cost issue.
Many of the people who buy the authentic ones have kids in college and have huge student loans and unpaid home mortgages, but still spend thousands of dollars on handbags. I often recommend kislux to them, they have good quality brand bags.
@@RaitisRides My brother, Tim bought a new Chevy Pickup Crew Cab High Country 4X4 Diesel fully loaded with a fifth wheel in the bed to pull horses and I know he paid under $70K because a local dealer told him they wanted $70K for it so he drove an hour out in the country to buy his for a lot less. Granted it's a pickup but an SUV should cost a lot less.
I really like the outside of the Expedition Joe, if only they would get rid of the freakin gloss black! It literally take up half of the liftgate. I wouldn't even mind if it was a thin piece of gloss black behind the Expedition badge, but that it.
This is almost certainly the next vehicle I'll buy, but that giant gloss black panel gives me pause. Sure it can be wrapped but I'd rather not have to.
Hate the dash and steering wheel setup. Hate the black upper lift gate on every trim/color. Wish Ford would have went with the F150 dash setup and steering wheel controls. I still prefer hard buttons for cruise control and climate control. For that reason alone I’m probably going to be picking up a 25’ Tahoe instead of the 25’ Expedition. I say that as someone who owns a 2023 Ford Bronco and 2024 F350. Need a bigger SUV for the fam and so far the 25’ Z71 Tahoe with the 6.2 is most likely going to get the nod
Last time Raiti told me I had 3 kids I didn't know about, I got a Carnival 25. Now I went straight to the door panel.
Great review Sir, we appreciate your hard work.
I really appreciate you having my back
80k for this is actually not too bad. It can't be easy to make a giant luxury suv capable of rock crawling. The problem is at the other end of the spectrum where the base model Expedition costs 63k.
Yeah that needs to be 50k
Really nice exterior color choice on this one. The wheels and tires are rugged and keeping this beast looking like a boss. I personally like this rig. Fantastic review Joe.
Great commentary Rick! Thanks for always tuning in!

Agreed the gloss black would’ve looked sharper just in the block that has the name badge, and just the body color in the block around the plate!
Out of this whole vehicle, the split lift-gate is what got me!! Such a great idea!! Not only for grocery bags like you said, but for the inevitable spill of those gigantic two+ kid strollers being made lately. Love it. Can’t afford it, but love it lol.

I like everything except the gloss black on the rear

which is higher - the percentage of these that will ever be off-roaded or the percentage that will be repossessed?
They have so many special editions out nowadays
This is more than a special edition,. This is an off-road trim
Maybe we will see a raptor expedition one day

Great vid Lori and Joe!
That black liftgate is really odd. And I'm gonna say there are actually too many screens inside.

I know you feel
How about the daily cartoons.
I wish I had weather on my screen
Just look out the windshield. The weather is right there. 😆
I have ordered one of these rather than the explorer.
Was that a good choice in your opinion?

Hey, Joe I love the rear lights.😊😊😊.
That is so awesome Dejon!
That is one beautiful modern done well design. I really like the direction ford is going with these interiors
Looks Great. I drive a 2024 Lincoln Navigator. This one is finished difently upgraded compared to previous years😊
Nice but would rather have the Yukon
Everyone has their favorites for sure stanley!
With a beautiful 6.2L V8!
6.2 is the key!
GMC government motors and China
Looks classy, no plastic around the wheel wells.
If the screen with the speedometer decides to stop working one day, does the car brick itself until its fixed or can you still drive it?
I’m sure you can still drivenit

The location of the screen is to negate the need for a HUD. Pretty brilliant imo.
Did they fix the toufu A pillar in this new Expedition?
Did they ever get in board with the optional electric rear view mirror?
Will the tremor be available in the long wheelbase version MAX?
Great review as always Joe. BTW is it coming in max version?
It's a nice looking truck. Still have my 2003 expedition. Love to afford this but I don't 80k+ cash to drop on it.
Joe they took the rear hatch split from the Range Rover,I guess it was when ford had the major share in Range Rover in around 2012 around there .
Great guy Raiti you are always awesome in your analysis..
That looks like the old one wdym “complete redesign” also to your question, I’m buying GM over ford.
Sounds like a plan Blake!
If the ford symbol in the front lights up that would be sooo sick 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great review......looks like FORD has a winner here. Thanks Joe and Lori.
Can't wait to see the special edition that uses a real key and physical gear selection
Bessstt Full Size Suv in all segments wowww🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Does anyone know if the Tremor trim will be limited to the short wheel-base version ? (the same way they limited the Timberline trim to the short wheel-base version)
You do know there is a seat back in the bottom of the split hatch would have been nice to see that
Well, at least it has some knobs. The new Navi is ridiculous.
It will take time for people to get used to it!

Nissan Pro 4x Armada almost identical. Would you trust Nissan or Ford?
Thanks👍
Thanks for another great review. You're right about all of that gloss black on the back. 🤮
Damn that color sexi as hell
Especially under the show lights!

A lot of supersized options to choose from

He took back a zonk.. crazy times.
Ford needs to make the Ford Expedition Max Tremor then. GM Suburban and Yukon XL both have AT4 and Z71 edition.
I feel like these new expeditions are the same size as the old excursions someone should do a side by side
Wish they gave us the navigator display

gives me tremors thinking about the price of this thing
This is a great value compared to the overpirced Lincoln navigator.
There is a lot of tech on the truck, but $80K is too much. I think the price should be no more than $70K.
