You sir, have taken my painting to levels i couldnt imagine a year ago, i cant imagine the amount of work that goes into making these videos but you should know it's greatly appreciated, cheers mate.
I don't own AoS models but I watched anyway because your work is always super clean and achievable by anyone with time, practice and patience.
Great to see Cities of Sigmar on your channel. Love the variation across the purple cloth, really looking forward to the next one!
Thanks so much for making these. For some of us (like me) the Eavy metal style is what got me into miniature gaming and what I ultimately aspire to in my own painting. I know of no other channel which does this so well.
Once again showing that you are a painting god amongst mere men.
Phenomenal, It's been insane watching the production quality increase since the beginning. Amazing tutorial as always mate, without a doubt the best tutorials around
The wildwood over brass is a great tip on its own, awesome video!
Great video Dave, I always like watching different types of metal being covered and I always end up with more paints to pickup.
Great video! Just some painting and explanation, nothing else. :)
Best painting content on YT!
Love that you always describe what paint to use while also giving alternatives. Keep up the amazing work!
Absolutely lovely video. The workflow and end result is tops.
Wow, amazing work
I like classic way of painting over contrast paints, because you have more control over paint scheme, and you don't have to make any special prep like specific primer. Also metallic paints work better with classic method
This video literally answered my prayers, thank you so much for doing (such an excellent) Lethis scheme tutorial!!!
Thank you! Amazing tutorial and still seems to be very achievable for the bog standard hobby painter. :)
Panning shots on terrain let’s gooooooooooooooo
You leveled up on this one Dave. Nice work Sir!
Awesome as always ! Keep these vids coming ! Love these !
Sooo Epic and motivating!
Incredible TMM class here, dude. Great content and very appreciated.
What an incredible painter you are, absolutely fantastic
Best scheme ive seen thanks
amazing. actually love the new format and added perspective too
This is an incredible video and tutorial. Just wow.
These are incredible, you Sir, are magician with the brush.
Amazing work!
I definitely learnt a lot of new tips and techniques
Excellent tutorial! Thanks a lot!
Your hand is very steady. Your line stroke is super sharp. Watching your video is enjoyable.
Amazing tutorial! Thankyou 🎉 ❤
Perfect, exactly what I was looking for!
Awesome job as always dude! ❤
Stunning work Dave! You are a painting wizard lol
Brilliant work!
Very good and detailed process.
Awesome video and work!
insane skill
Bloody amazing......
Such a sick paint job man!
Awsome! Good job!
Could you do a video on settlers gain I really want to know how to paint the book art for the cavaliers and fusiler
Awesome video!
You've got some hell of brush control there. Totes jealous. Anytime I try to do chipping or scratches it's splot time.
Amazing video. beautiful painting nice camera work, and editing.
The only thing that I would love to see is if you had lower thirds that appear with each step (including what paint you are using, the mix if it's mixed and the kind of brush you are using.
(I know you mentioned it verbally but seeing it would be a big help)
Thanks, man!
Again, fantastic work.
This is your best tutorial yet ❤
How have I only just found this channel. Great stuff
nice video! thanks alot
Damn really great job, hope you can do Settlers gain too.
WITH OUT FUTHER ADO I MUST MAKE HASTE TO THE SHOP! Great work brother cant wait to see more :)
Now do a whole army ;)
On a serious note: amazing results! I'll use this video when I get to paint a hero for CoS!
Love your videos dude, wish u made more of them
I wish I could too, youtube ad revenue isn't enough to pay the bills unfortunately. But hoping to get more stuff out soon
@@InfernalBrushThanks for the reply! I totally understand and if there’s any chance you can do a Sons of Horus paint video that would be fantastic
Please do a Space Wolf box art!!
Might be on the way soon!
@@InfernalBrush you are a gentleman, sir!
I have been a patron almost since the first months and i have to say that your delivery method over the years have improved massively.
You sound more alive, which is a joy to listen to. Music is not too loud and yet gives a nice vibe when you are silent. You dont show too much footage painting one part, but instead show just enough to get the idea. Jumps between miniature and your palette are a nice addition. Thank you to patrons at the end is a warm and welcome addition. Change to a macro lens was a worthwhile Investment.
It is nice to see that you are doing well, Dave. Keep it up!
I genuinely really appreciate yourself and others still supporting since the early days so thank you! more than the money it means so much to know people are still watching my content and enjoying it. Also thank you for the great feedback, it's been a long journey (and still ongoing) learning how to create more engaging content but I'm glad that it hasn't gone unnoticed. As long as I have the support of this great community I will endeavour to improve. Thanks again!
Amazing
thank you for share Sir
I really prefer the living city and vibrant countryside and woodland in general but I have a big nighthaunt army so I feel my people should be from Lethis
Nice to see some higher levels of TMM.
The production quality of these videos is amazing Dave. Arguably some of the best Warhammer painting videos on TH-cam. However you should definitely write a more eye catching title. 'Painting NEW Warhammer Cities of Sigmar Like the Box Art' or something similar. This needs to be seen by more people!
We live in the sea of click bait lol
Yeah videos are top tier thank you for your work
Its not precisely eavy metal but adding in incubi darkness instead of black makes some really nice shadows on the purple.
Really cool tutorial.
Unreal work. Best I've seen. Any chance you'll do someone other cities. Hopefully misthavn
It's nice to see this kind of slow process painting videos. Great job with your channel! I'm very interested in the Misthvån GW colour scheme. Would you make a video with this colour scheme? (I love the Lethis one, btw).
Nice vid. I bathe in ratling grime
4:40 are you sure that is Wyldwood. It looks more like Cygor Brown. Wyldwood is quite desaturated. Maybe the camera is playing trick on me.
Yeah it could be the camera it's definitely Wyldwood although it is quite an old pot. I think Cygor would also work well, you just have to thin it a bit more as its a bit darker or atleast my pot is
Amazing 👏 I'm following your tutorial...will you do the banner bearer and fat priest? I hope so
Omg this is so good. Can you please upload a Tutorial for Misthavn ? 😮
Can anyone explain how he's mounting the bits to the paper clip on cork? I see that you drilled through the foot but what about the arm holding the shield?
Lots of useful tips, for me at least. You use lots of glazes and I feel that takes advantage of models detailed parts and is a really good way to go, gonna try on my cloths instead of just doing all shadows and highlights manually. I'm not painting armies but I kinda try to make Krieg kill team and speeding up cloths is something I'd like to try. You can always add highlights later
Thanks, I wanted to place letters for the algorithm thing but all above is truth nevertheless 😂
Thank you! glazing is a very reliable method to bring in some shadows and highlights and get some nice smooth transitions. Understanding how to control it makes it much more efficient too. Enjoy your Krieg, great miniatures!
Dotting in pupils is really easy with watercolour
What’s your preferred brush for those fine edge highlights? I’m still using a series 7 size 1 and I’m finding it a little too big.
Great video. I'm just returning to miniature painting after a long hiatus, and the new Cities of Sigmar is my first project. Can I ask what grit of sanding sponge you recommend?
How do you thin your paints? When i try to thin my glazes it usually ends up in a big blob of water....
Remember guys if you want to get results like this sharpen your brushes
Hey, Awesome paintjob as always :)
Those dropper bottles you are using, are those army painter bottles or something else? Or i can ask where you get them, and do they actually seal the bottle? the ones i have gotten from amazon have all been total crap :(.
They are a mix of Vallejo bottles (when I could buy them) and the cheaper Amazon ones. The vallejo ones are much better but more expensive
Ahh, right on. Seems like the Vajello ones have been discontinued. Found out that AK Interactive have made their own as well. Gonna give those a go :)
Gorgeous paint job my dude! What palette paper do you use?
Reynolds Parchment paper sir
Great video, what brush are you using? The link to Rosemary & Co. is dead
Hello it is the Series 33 brushes. This link should work: www.rosemaryandco.com/pure-kolinsky-pointed?u=infernalbrush
do you mix with one brush and paint with another?
Can you do more cotys of sigmar painting?
Citys of sigmar
The base from the yellow guy, what‘s this?
Do you tend to use just Microsol and not Microset?
I only ever use Microsol (red bottle), I don't find the other one necessary
How achievable is this paint scheme for a beginner?
Great! Now do 19 more.
I seriously need to know how you painted that Thondian Strongpoint piece of terrain in the background. The scheme colors and shading look AMAZING.
It was painted very similar to this recipe on our website > eavy-archive.com/general-recipes/#age-of-sigmar-terrain1601 Hope this helps!
New hobbyist here. How do you pin the head on the paperclip at 04:24 ? Did you drill a hole in the neck and superglued it? I noticed this on other part in your video. I tried with blue tack but it slides off the paperclip...afraid to use superglue. Much appreciated and amazing paint job!
Thank you! Yes I drill a hole with a 1mm drill bit in a pin vice/hobby drill then attach the paperclip with a tiny touch of superglue
@@InfernalBrush Thanks! I guess superglue is fine then. It can snap off, as opposed to plastic glue.
A year or a couple years ago did you start streaming on Twitch painting a Ork on stream? You had little viewership in the beginning?
FOR THE ALGORITHM!!
Thank you John 🙏
What's the glue you using?
It's just Tamiya thin plastic cement
@@InfernalBrush You say it in your video and the name is even clearly visible on video. And yet, no complaints, just answering the question. Truly godlike zen my dude, chapeau!
Is NOT Valejo.
it is Vallejo = Vajeho.
Double LL = J for you
J = H for you
