I have a 15-year-old Sony Bravia. I really don't have a desire to replace it. I watch mostly movies, and it does fine. I'm in my 70's and I bought it for my retirement. Maybe when a really new technology comes out I'll consider something else.
i just want to warning people who want to buy a tv from Best buy store especially the one at dearborn store at michigan state or any store. check your tv or anything you buying even if its in unopend box for any damage before you take it home .. i just bought a brandnew LG tv for 449.99 from them. but, after i took it out from the box i notced a crack at the screen. i took it back to them at the same day to exchanged it, but the menager said im the one who caused the damaged, so there is no exchanged or refund.. they said the 15 days warranty thats i have on the tv is not covering any damage on the TV after i took it home.. so you guys need to becareful before you buying anything from Best buy stores, open the box and let them play it for you before you take it home . beside all that, they were very rude uneducated managers.. i just cant believe the way they treated me. they even tried to call cops on me..
Bought the Samsung q80c last week and returned it the next day. While it had great colors it was by far the worst picture I'd seen on a TV pixelated crap. This was a 75" model and I was astounded how my Hisense 75r6e4 was comparable at a quarter of the price. I went out and bought the uk8 it's pretty awesome so far
Just bought the C1 last week and absolutely love it so far. Ended up buying it at Costco due to it coming with a free 5 year warranty. The first 2 years are with Costco and the remaining 3 are with Allstate. Typically the additional 3 years cost around $100 but the tv included an $100 rebate that covered the warranty. We also bought our last LG tv at Costco with the 5 year warranty and it stopped working after 5 years and 3 weeks. I swear they just know and send a self destruct signal to the tv.
Back in 2019 when I went to buy my tv from Best Buy I wanted a tcl. However the guy that helped me showed me tvs I didn’t even want. He persuaded me to buy something I didn’t want. He right away showed me a Samsung and a Lg. I asked about the tcl and he said they won’t worth the time or money that they were too dark and ugly picture. He was doing everything he could to get me to buy either a Samsung or Lg. In the end I ended up getting a 55 inch LG Nano cell 4K tv. At the time I was happy with it. It was my first 4K TV and thought all 4K tvs were the same. Now 3 years later after research and knowing that all 4K TVs are not the same, I regret buying the tv. The next tv I buy I’m ordering it online and picking it up at the store. That way no one can talk me out of buying the tv I want.
All products on display at Best Buy are placed exactly where the manufacturers pay for them to be placed. There's absolutely nothing random about where anything is placed.
I've had 3 $279 58" 6 series Hisense & on all, the backlighting goes out within a year or 2. My local WalMart is clearing out their 50" to 65" TV's. All brands less than $400. They are bringing in & setting up the 85 " but make sure you get them calibrated once at home. Makes a huge difference
Use to sell TVs in college. Definitely ask if they have a normal input signal vs the commercial showcase demo. I often switched our TVs to Directv and people were shocked how different the picture looked from Demos. Also ask to see if they will turn off TVs around the other TVs of the one you are considering. Just seeing one vs a dozen+ in your peripheral makes a huge difference. May save you $1k.
I just bought a Sony X85K and I love it. Yes the Hisense UH8 is slightly better; but for just me and the wife streaming content it's pretty amazing. Bright and color accurate. When paired with the Govee T2 system, and new sony 3.1 soundbar with sub it's pretty amazing.
We bought a new 65 inch Samsung in 2015, not sure of the model but it was heavily pushed by Best Buy as the greatest TV on the market at the time. While the picture is good and the TV still works, it’s had many buggy problems throughout the years. Many apps weren’t supported within a couple of years, it randomly pops up messages, and at times has just gone black for many seconds at a time.
I returned my U8G due to some clouding on the right side of the screen. Other than that it was great. Probably could’ve played the panel lottery and found a clean one but didn’t feel like playing that game. Think I’ll just keep my 900h one more year and see what we get next year. If hisense can give us a dual cell with an acceptable response time and decent input lag, I’ll pick that up for sure.
Just purchased Q60A…85 inches of incredible picture. Obviously tv of this size has some clouding but it does not interfere, not noticeable with movie setting. Great tv great price!
I would like to spread some enlightenment on why lg, sony and samsung have the biggest representation in best buy. Its as simple as they pay the company more money. In my best buy, lg paid 2 million dollars for that lg pad that was shown in the video. Best buy does not even pay for the power bill of that area, that area is connected to a separate power source than the store’s power source. Tcl hisense and vizio just dont pay best buy enough to have that kind of representation.
I have three tcl's two 65" and one 55" that I bought 3 years ago. One 65" and the 55" the backlight went out. The third tv has a round color distortion. I doubt the next tv will be TCL brand even though the price vs. the time used DID make them worth it.
I rotated around the Samsung series while looking for my tv earlier this year went from a q60 to q70 to q90! Returned all felt like all was over priced! Ended up getting a c1 and I have no regrets!
We have had 3 vizios bought together for different rooms in our house. All 3 ended up with weird problems. Don’t know about samsung but my parents Sony is 5 yrs old and no issues.
I used to work for Best Buy. Samsung, LG, Sony all pay for those spots and for it to be displayed like that. It’s basically like Best Buy is a channel, and those companies are paying Best Buy to air their “ads” in between tv shows. Hisense can do that too if they paid the money. But honestly Hisense U8H > all other brands right now
Warning Do not buy a NON-sense TV!!!. If you really want one dish out the extra for warranty. It will not last a year and hisense (non-sense) customer service and bs. You get what you pay for. I purchased a 70 inch October 2020. Nov 2021 went out and Never came back on. I still have 2 55 inch LGs for about 7 years, never a problem. I'll stick with LG and Samsung.
I think the fast motion quality issues for sports are because best buy is not using a hi definition signal. Our Comcast carrier gave us like 300 stations with both hi definition and low definition channel so we get to see a huge difference in picture quality.
I went to Best Buy the other day and asked if they had a hisense u7g on display, so I could see it in person. The guy I was speaking to asked the manager of that department and the manager asked me if I saw a review of the tv and if that’s why I was asking about it. He then goes and tells me the tv doesn’t have features that I know it has. Then proceeds to walk over to show me a Sony x90j with a price tag of $2,999 lmao like buddy just need a 55 in for my bedroom
I had my 75U7G delivered yesterday from Best Buy. I set it up last night and got to watch a little bit of content. Spent time this morning adding apps and playing with picture settings. I'm blown away. This is my first 4K TV, but everything is as advertised. Took me a while to figure out how to hook it up to my receiver -- had to do the normal HDMI connection then an optical audio and that got it working. I can tell you I spent probably 4 months looking at everything -- I am not an LG or Samsung fan so didn't spend to much time looking at those, but I did compare picture quality and sure enough -- this U7G beats them all in my opinion. I'm not an expert -- but it works for us. Android is super fast so far too.
In SoCal... About a dozen BB's in a 200 Mi radius, I have asked them this same Question... every response from a BB employee in the TV dept has responded with Samsung being the most returned TV... also Samsung being the most Sold TV.... per units
BB and each tv brand come to an agreement with what will be displayed in the store and how it will be displayed. As far as openbox that's not a good quantifier as to which TV's are good or not. Someone could return a tv just bc they needed the money back or only used it for a big game or fight for their party. As far as Hisense goes, they're a good brand that I wish BB had more selection of.
I took a chance on an Insignia 43" 4k on Black Friday. Picture was great but it had so many issues. Constant audio out of synch, HDMI issues, picture with Direct TV receiver kept turning purple and it would hard lock up when connecting bluetooth headphones and Apple+ wouldn't work with the headphones. Returned it for a 50" Pioneer that was marked down to $279. Love it so far.
I’ve got my c1 77 inch last I requested the rest of the week off just to enjoy my tv my God that tv picture quality is amazing I love it, n I must of gotten the evo panel cause it’s plenty bright
I personally own both A90J and LG G1, personally the Sony is better. Sound is amazing and picture is much brighter. Then again everyone has different taste.
that sony motion is awful. then you literally get less feature and even less hdmi 2.1 ports. and the tv is made of recycled plastic. Sony is just not for me.
Was recently at Best Buy and was told they were getting back alot LG C2’s for build quality issues I purchased one and returned it.Plastic was flaking off near HDMI ports. TV didn’t really feel like an upgrade to me.The build quality was just not there. Feels cheap and plasticky. The contrast was a little better, but not natural looking. I will have to say gaming felt like an upgrade more responsive and better input lag but not enough to keep it.Staying with my 900E for a while longer and probably will be sticking with Sony for my next TV purchase. IMHO I feel the new sets coming out just don’t have the build quality as past years TVs.
Literally this ☝️. We’re better off keeping our old sets that at least still work lol. Doesn’t matter if we have the newest TV with 100% coverage of P3 wide color gamut or bt. 2020, if it’s just gonna fail soon. I’d rather keep an old reliable TV so I can keep watching.
I got a 65" Hisense smart TV from Best Buy and returned it in a week. It kept buffering and when you turned it off the next time you used it, you had to reset the internet on it everytime
People return TVs for various reasons and not necessarily due to a fault of the TV. I recently returned a 43 inch LG QNED that was working fine and had a nice picture and sound. I decided to get a larger TV and returned it on the last day of the return policy.
OMG spent 2 hrs reading all the questions being asked about this on Amazon last night and got weary of it. Not true 120 and they “promise” a firmware upgrade? I got spooked and even if it’s $599 right now sounds like empty promises made about performance to me.
Best buy wont feature TVs like TCL and HISENSE on their box office placement. Brands like Samsung, LG and Sony makes them more money. As a salesman say you get 15 mins to sell one tv, you’re obviously gon try to sell a $2k tv rather than a $1k tv. I went to best buy about an year ago shortly after I ordered TCL R635, while my tv was in transit I went to BB to see how my tv gon look physically. Well, as soon as I asked a sales associate to show me a TCL tv he started a never ending rant against TCL. I came back and waited for my TV to arrive. A year later, here’s what Im gon say “TCL HAS MY BEST $1k purchase ever” never has been more satisfied with my everyday viewing and gaming. So yeah, s***w you best buy. Im not falling for your sales pitch.
You think there will be a better tv than the c1 next year? I’m thinking of buying the c1 around the Super Bowl for a discount if it’s theee TV then might as well
I just commented below. I have an a80j 65inch I'm returning. Thinking of going with the 65inch u8g. I'm also thinking of dumping more $ and getting a 77inch oled panel. Does the c1 77in have the Evo panel? Is it brighter than the smaller sizes, is there a big difference with the Evo panels?
Do you think the X85J is good for the current marked down price on Amazon? Ordered it cause I’m looking for a 75 inch, not sure what alternative to go with if I cancel
I returned a Visio 75" because it had a big blotch on the screen when it displayed an all white picture. I kept my Sony but have always been disappointed in the way Goole TV operates. It keeps changing inputs on it's own and none of the fixes will stop it. I like TCL the best even though when you use a PC HDMI input, sometimes it has a hard time locking onto the signal, the cheaper price of them makes it worth it.
After watching many of your reviews I decided to visit the local Best Buy to see a Hisense U8G in person. My experience was the same as yours; nothing more than the 6 models on display because no one would be forking out an extra 1K for a Sony or a Samsung if they saw the U8G next to them. Super happy with my purchase. Thanks for the hot tips!
The U8G is crazy cheap compared to other brands. But I was not impressed by it's performance. Picture, color contrast, focus/sharpness was no where near as good as the other brands hence the price tag
My Best Buy had Geek squad infomercials playing on the U8G and U7G. Still went for the U8G and I'm very satisfied with the panel. Of course they wouldn't play anything meaningful on a non top tier brand.
I totally agree with you 100%. Sony has one of the best picture on the market and that what made me buy a Sony KD 65X9300D it was very expensive but to my horror on the first night it developed a problem a line from the bottom was very thin about 10mm but then it started to spread upward to cover half of the screen. I took it back and they gave another TV but again after about 6 weeks the power unit stopped working so I asked for money back and got it but I looked around for another brand of TV to buy but nothing atv the time can close to sony picture so I ended up buy same model TV from another dealer. I do have some reservations about buying sony again.
After watching a lot of your videos,i am questioning myself, should i cancel my 77 inch A80J order,i am using 65' A8F that bought on 2018,mostly use for PS5 and movies,is that a big upgrade in your opinion?Or should i just wait for the 2022 model
I just walked into BB the other day to check out the Hisense U8H and it was exactly how you described it. Just in the “poor” section of the tv showroom. They even had some non 4k tv show on the screen which made it seem worse. I wanted to compare the U8H and Samsung QN85B but cause BB showed the U8h in such poor conditions I couldn’t make an informed decision. What is your opinion between these two tvs? Love the content keep it up! Thanks.
I have a 6 year old Sony 4k, still working great and picture looks great! APPs sucks though lol. So I hook up a Nvidia Shield TV to it. I think LG will be my next TV purchase. Waiting for the Sony to die first lol.
Good idea doing most returned. Good to know. Remember though to be fair. Not everyone can afford the best and I'll tell you from experience that buying the most expensive isn't a guarantee. I've owned 5k tv's only to have them go out in a couple of years. 👍
So, what tv has the better motion handling without stepping up to the C1? Returned x90j as well and currently testing the U6GR but the motion is not great at all.
I've returned a Samsung and a Vizio in the last 20 years. Both hd TV's. Both swapped for Bravia's. A 09 kdl52z5100 and a 2020 x750h. The 09 isn't 4k but has native 240hz refresh rate. The much newer x750h is 4k but only a native 60hz! The '09 cost over 2k back in the day. Still looks great for movies. The newer, cheaper Sony looks better for games. I'm looking for something to superceded both tv's at the moment. Lookit at a 43 inch Sony x85k cause it's got vvr and 120hz. Under $700
I bought the Hisense 65 inch U6, mainly because of the 4 year guarantee, plus the picture quality was the same as the Samsung for me, which costed $200 more with 2 year guarantee.
I'm going to be 100, didn't think I was going to be happy with my TCL R646. I was dead set on returning it back to Best Buy, but for $899 the picture quality cannot be beat and I coming from a Sony 900E. The TV is Freaking awesome, put aside the software glitches you aren't getting a better picture. My opinion
Hey Robert. I reviewed the A90J. So that can't be fixed. Also, in most cases vivid mode is used, which uses motion processing. To be fair im reviewing the tvs in a as is showroom fashion. The impression basically everyone will get without special settings.
My parents have an old 2014 Vizio I gave them old smart tv I think, I was thinking about getting them the Insignia N10 non smart 43, idk if it's decent super cheap, this vizi is still going strong, but I can tell it's getting a tad fuzzy with age.
It's easy to be a critic. In truth, these TVs are "bad" because you say they are. For most people they're perfectly serviceable. Without an eye for these things you'd probably be far better off :)
Wrong. These tvs are bad because the remove features, have bad updates, offer less for more money, and the many things I cover here. Following to learn more.
Hey sir just came across your site and it has some great insight! Question, what in your opinion is the best low budget tv out now say 65 inch screen? Thanks in advance.
I have a Sony TV and yet it is the best TV I ever had, yet I see a quite of Vizio TVs returned I was impressed, yet probably the next day will be another brand.
When I was searching for TVs couple of years ago I used consumer reports and other reviews and the Sony and LG was the best TVs. Like how Samsung advertise their TVs as a QLED and you were not educated on TVs you would look and see how closely resembles OLED. I'm Sure that some people buying TVs were fulled into thinking that they got a OLED and got a QLED from Samsung.
The A6 is the hisense entry level. I have a U6g 50in for a bedroom TV, got it last weekend. Super solid for a bedroom TV imo. I have a 65inch a80j for my livingroom TV, and it's going back for the 65inch u8g. It's $800 cheaper and after picking up the u6g and seeing hisense put quality for a $400 TV I realized I slipped by spending 1800 on my livingroom TV. Going with what you've been recommending all along, u8g
@@riraider123 I ended up just exchanging the a80j for another a80j lol. They're bringing it tomorrow. I just got a bad panel. The bottom right corner was super dark on a light Grey screen. It didn't affect bright scenes at all though. Anyway I decided I had to stick with the a80
Agree, Bestbuy treats Hisense like crap! The BB by my house offers the Hisense brand but they only have the U6G in the floor and they don't offer installation for any of the models!! not sure why they sell them if they are not promoting the brand...
My LG’s lasted years without a single problem. My Samsung’s however all ended up with dark spots on the screen within a few months. Samsung reliability/quality control is just as bad as dealing with their customer service.
What would u recommend as far as QLED tv 65 or 75 inch. I'm not doing any gaming on it it will be in my living room and only for cable TV, movies and sports Games that's it and I will be hooking up my 5.1 Dolby surround sound system to it... need something that will last and has great picture and at least 120hz refresh give my top 5 please
I've returned two C1's this year and given up on this year's OLED models. I sit a bit off axis due to my living rooms layout and both sets had drastic color shifts off axis. One had the right side of the screen turn yellow and the other had the left side turn blue. I know it's not happening to all displays, but dealing with it twice myself makes me wonder if due to supply shortages, LG is using two different light filters with one of them being susceptible to color shift. I had no experienced this on older OLED models and the Best Buy floor models did not exhibit the issue as well.
Wow i thought i was the only one with the lg c1...i saw it in store and i could see the motion blur so fast on the 65 inch model the 55 however was so smooth, walked over to the Samsung tvs and they were bright but still i could see lines in the motion of the picture. At this point i have a chat with the guy from best buy he 1000% recommended the C1 but he said something i did not like right away...he mentioned burn in and its why he got the protection plan and when i asked if he has had burn in he said yes....as we were walking out of the corner of my eye i noticed fireworks on a tv....of course it was a sony....so we go over and at this point he starts to bash it. Its not good for gaming etc, but im telling you that picture was smooth and nice so i mess with the settings and they were all on default....picked it up right there Sony A80J. Not dissapointed at all. Gaming is still awrsome
@@codenamemamba1277 Thank you for your perspective! People need to hear this. Sony gets bashed on for various reasons, and no company/product is perfect, but their QC to avoid the issues you’ve had returning 2 C1’s and no issue on the A80J panel wise says it all.
I'm a little worried about reading this. I just had my CX (1 year old) just experience a ton of dead pixels, and was hoping the C1 would be an upgrade in quality.
@@codenamemamba1277 I got the 5 years warranty, and even with that Geek Squad is being a massive pain in honoring the warranty. First tech pretty much declined repairs and said dead pixels are normal. I was pissed, and requested another tech come service the TV.
Just bought a TCL QM7 2024 mini-LED… being delivered on Thurs… In the meantime I upgraded my old master BR TV to a budget Insignia FireTV… was like $230-250 IIRC… its not amazing but its a huge upgrade from my crappy previous TV I mainly watch NFL/MLB and stream some shows/movies on the downstairs TV which will be the QM7… would you recommend anything else in that price range because at this point without the NFL playing games in 4K, I’m half tempted to return the QM7 (if it’s not amazing IMO) to get a budget 4k in the mean time… Let me know your thoughts
I came from a vizio d50u-d1. After 6 years, some of the backlights started to flicker. I decided to upgrade and try out the LG Qned 80 series 2022 model. I am pretty happy with the outcome.
Need your input, please. Both C2 and A80K models are currently at the same price. My living room is pretty bright during the day and looking at the C2 there is tons of reflection, which is concerning to me. I do not do any gaming, strictly Netflix, Amazon and TH-cam streaming. What is your guidance/opinion?
I have the A90K 42" and also use it as a computer monitor, it works great and reflections aren't an issue, but I haven't seen the C2 to compare it against. But for a bigger TV I would check out the Samsung and Sony QD OLED TVs, they're more expensive though
Im not really sure as to why, but these TVs come with a motion sensor that can be turned off. Manufacturers turn them on high as default and then things get blurry and then fast moving scenes either blur up or in some insances lag a little. Thats most likely whats going on with all those TVs. Samsung, LG and Sony are the best TVs at BB. I have an insignia 46" TV from 2015 and its amazing, but the 39" i got in 2020 has a problem with colors that makes it look off.
Just went into my local Beat Buy looking for a Hisense U8H. Not only do they not have any top of the line Hisense models, they don't have a single Hisense on display. The big manufacturers definitely pay to have their shit on display the way it is.

Also, these tvs are in store display mode. When you get it home and customize the settings to your liking there will be a big difference
That's why candy and snacks placed close to the check out lines at the market

Many apps weren’t supported within a couple of years, it randomly pops up messages, and at times has just gone black for many seconds at a time.
In my BestBuy Samsung and Hisense are the most returned brands due to a lot of defects for the first few weeks of use.
Samsung - 65" Class Q80t 2 years no problems so far ,
My 2004 Sharp Aquos is still as good as the first day out of the box. Amazing TV.
At my local Best Buy, stacks of returned Samsung q60 and q70. Makes me glad I went with the U8G.
I love my U8G
I almost went with it but seen a couple returned because of issues. I'm sure its awesome if you get a good panel
Same!
I literally didn't see anything wrong with the Sony's
I rotated around the Samsung series while looking for my tv earlier this year went from a q60 to q70 to q90! Returned all felt like all was over priced! Ended up getting a c1 and I have no regrets!
@@ATH-camChannelwithNoName 2021
I went from Q60a to x90j and just picked up LG C1 yesterday.
@@matthewp2209 I bet you won’t return! Lol
@@dantescott6113 oh way better than the others, just hate the remote.
What true motion setting do u recommend to watch normal over the air tv ? On the c1?
We have had 3 vizios bought together for different rooms in our house. All 3 ended up with weird problems. Don’t know about samsung but my parents Sony is 5 yrs old and no issues.
What Oled do you recommend!!
That's actually internal LG demo footage, not broadcast
I went to Best Buy the other day and asked if they had a hisense u7g on display, so I could see it in person. The guy I was speaking to asked the manager of that department and the manager asked me if I saw a review of the tv and if that’s why I was asking about it. He then goes and tells me the tv doesn’t have features that I know it has. Then proceeds to walk over to show me a Sony x90j with a price tag of $2,999 lmao like buddy just need a 55 in for my bedroom
Let me know how the u7g is. Thinking about buying one
Good tv
@@tallmex7183 I got the U7G on Cyber Monday/Black Friday. 65" for $799.99 .
Its gorgeous. The pictures POP.
@@tallmex7183 It's pretty good. You'll need to adjust some colors like green and red if you're a gamer. Other than that it's a really solid tv.
In SoCal... About a dozen BB's in a 200 Mi radius, I have asked them this same Question... every response from a BB employee in the TV dept has responded with Samsung being the most returned TV... also Samsung being the most Sold TV.... per units
Could you tell me the best 65in t v that’s around the 800.00 range? Maybe name 3. Thanks
My Sony A8H is still the best TV I've seen. Love that you can easily download 3rd party apps. Brightest OLED I've seen. Perfect picture.
I have a 55" LG and it's 10 y/o; bought another one for the bedroom a year ago!; my 32" Sony is in my son's bedroom and is around 15 y/o.
Pioneer still makes TVs wow.
@Da1shocker TCL makes the Pioneer tvs .
I’d rather keep an old reliable TV so I can keep watching.
hey what would be a good 65 qled mini led screen ? something with good motion and bloetooth?
I got a 65" Hisense smart TV from Best Buy and returned it in a week. It kept buffering and when you turned it off the next time you used it, you had to reset the internet on it everytime
love my LG Brand Tvs that i have had currently have 3 LGs and they have been working perfectly since they were new love the picture quality
People return TVs for various reasons and not necessarily due to a fault of the TV. I recently returned a 43 inch LG QNED that was working fine and had a nice picture and sound. I decided to get a larger TV and returned it on the last day of the return policy.
I picked up a sony 43 inch x85j, any good calibration tips?
@@Mr_Smackle lol it's for my room got a 930e i use mainly
OMG spent 2 hrs reading all the questions being asked about this on Amazon last night and got weary of it. Not true 120 and they “promise” a firmware upgrade? I got spooked and even if it’s $599 right now sounds like empty promises made about performance to me.
@State Lines Enthusiast so far it seems as a 120hz going to run a test that quantum recommends to determine if it's true 120hz
@State Lines Enthusiast definitely a true 120hz tested it today
I’m thinking of buying the c1 around the Super Bowl for a discount if it’s theee TV then might as well
I do. I think they'll push a bit further next year.
@@Cruzan9 right but should im wondering if I should get the c1 for a discounted price or just buy the new tech for a higher price
Doesn’t have Evo panel but the panel is barely brighter
Do you think the X85J is good for the current marked down price on Amazon? Ordered it cause I’m looking for a 75 inch, not sure what alternative to go with if I cancel
@Joey N. Agreed, I kept mine and have been nothing but happy
Thanks for the hot tips!
is it the same model number in london ?
The U8G is crazy cheap compared to other brands. But I was not impressed by it's performance. Picture, color contrast, focus/sharpness was no where near as good as the other brands hence the price tag
@@r4ym1n13 I would argue, the only place it doesn't hold up is viewing angle.
After watching a lot of your videos,i am questioning myself, should i cancel my 77 inch A80J order,i am using 65' A8F that bought on 2018,mostly use for PS5 and movies,is that a big upgrade in your opinion?Or should i just wait for the 2022 model
def cancel and wait. you'll regret the A80J next month
Swap for c1 77 for better motion
I just walked into BB the other day to check out the Hisense U8H and it was exactly how you described it. Just in the “poor” section of the tv showroom. They even had some non 4k tv show on the screen which made it seem worse. I wanted to compare the U8H and Samsung QN85B but cause BB showed the U8h in such poor conditions I couldn’t make an informed decision. What is your opinion between these two tvs? Love the content keep it up! Thanks.
I returned an RCA tv years ago, it was huge and seemed like a great price, but it had snow when you looked for it.
I have a 6 year old Sony 4k, still working great and picture looks great! APPs sucks though lol. So I hook up a Nvidia Shield TV to it. I think LG will be my next TV purchase. Waiting for the Sony to die first lol.
I have a 32'' Bravia that's like 12yrs old now. Still working fine.
First time viewer nice video very interesting to see the layout I got u8g the other day and it's perfect for my room with a series x hooked up.
Welcome to the community Noah.
The A1 or B1 mabey
U7 or u8 better motion handling
Hey how can I self calibrate my tv @ home , any suggestions thanks
So what are the must returned brands? About half way through and this seems like a loose comparison. Buried the lead
#1 sony
#2 Samsung
I bought the Toshiba z 770k 65” , one of the best tvs I’ve ever owned! Got all the fruit for half the price
The Toshiba z770k It’s actually a Hisense u8g has the same menu and secret service menu , trippy
Vendors pay for their space at Best Buy so it makes sense for them to have the most displays since they probably have the biggest marketing budget.
Excellent tour and information! I bought the LG 65” C1 2 months ago, and I love it. Keep the videos coming. You’re doing a great job! Happy Holidays!
My opinion
Only thing wrong with that tv is it’ll started glitching after a couple of weeks..
Hi Quantum. How do you know that the bad motion handling on the TVs you saw can't be fixed by simply changing a setting?
Hey Robert. I reviewed the A90J. So that can't be fixed. Also, in most cases vivid mode is used, which uses motion processing. To be fair im reviewing the tvs in a as is showroom fashion. The impression basically everyone will get without special settings.
Hello. So do you think the new sony XR-65A80K is worth an upgrade from the 80J?
The best tv I ever had was TCL and it just died and I ordered another one. Screw brand recognition.
My parents have an old 2014 Vizio I gave them old smart tv I think, I was thinking about getting them the Insignia N10 non smart 43, idk if it's decent super cheap, this vizi is still going strong, but I can tell it's getting a tad fuzzy with age.
I’m looking to buy x85k Sony mostly for gaming what do u think is it a good tv
Most of the tvs seem to have motion issues. What do you recommend then?
It's easy to be a critic. In truth, these TVs are "bad" because you say they are. For most people they're perfectly serviceable. Without an eye for these things you'd probably be far better off :)
Wrong. These tvs are bad because the remove features, have bad updates, offer less for more money, and the many things I cover here. Following to learn more.
Sowhat wold you buy? I am thinking Sony A80K or a LG C2, what one?
The U7H and the U8H are the best value from Hisense.
Hey sir just came across your site and it has some great insight! Question, what in your opinion is the best low budget tv out now say 65 inch screen? Thanks in advance.
I love the Sony A90J great tv for video games! Good video bro!
I have a Sony TV and yet it is the best TV I ever had, yet I see a quite of Vizio TVs returned I was impressed, yet probably the next day will be another brand.
I like best buy. But u wish they had the TV remotes out so you could play with the TV to get a actual feel of it.
Anyway I decided I had to stick with the a80
So how are all your TVs comparing now?

Hey Q, what's your take on the x95j?

In the meantime I upgraded my old master BR TV to a budget Insignia FireTV… was like $230-250 IIRC… its not amazing but its a huge upgrade from my crappy previous TV

Let me know your thoughts
I came from a vizio d50u-d1. After 6 years, some of the backlights started to flicker. I decided to upgrade and try out the LG Qned 80 series 2022 model. I am pretty happy with the outcome.
Hello. What are your thoughts on Samsung TU 7000. Thanks.
