Just a great tip from you about not giving to cut your yarn when changing colors. Love it!

Thank you so much! It is purely driven by my distaste for hiding tails lol.

Shame we didn’t see inside where you chained to change colour. First time I’ve seen this method.

Really helpful tutorial :] I only have DK yarn in, what should I alter about this pattern to make sure it doesn't end up too small?

Thank you! Is DK yarn size 3?

Thank you for this very simple tutorial ! My hat was way too big is there a way I can save this ? Or what could I do differently with my next hat?

Hi! And thank you! I have two easy methods for you to decrease the size:
If it is too wide in diameter, try one of the two:
🩷 Omit the last increasing row (Row 6 I think), and replace it with a row of 1 DC in each st. Then pick the pattern up from there - OR -
🩷 Take out the last two rows of the beanie (last section) and replace them with SC stitches or SL stitches instead. If you do this, you will need to increase the # of rows at the end to make it look consistent.
🩷 If it is too long just omit the last two rows.
I hope this helps and happy crocheting!!! 🧶
