As usual, the gate opens and Kyomasa, Annie, and Ai fly out.
Nene also tried to get out, but Shabani, who was not amused at being specially fed by the keeper, blocked the entrance.
After a little while, Nene was able to get out too, and the door was closed before Shabani could get out.
The family is usually engrossed in breakfast, but they come to check on Shabani, mainly Ai, who is worried about her being trapped indoors.
Shabani, who is indoors, is puzzled and finds the keeper, who appeals to him to open the door. 4:16
The door is then safely opened, and once the family is returned to the basement, they exit through another door.
It was a morning that reaffirmed Ai's love for Shabani 😊💕

Oh my that was so touching. I can only assume there was a good reason for the brief separation but it sure was sad.. and beautiful at the same time as it was so evident how close they are and how much they love Shabani. It will be a very sad day when Nene passes and Kiyomasa has to leave. I’m sure at some point Annie will be partnered with a silverback .. hopefully Gentaro but who knows.
The difference between Shabani and Momotaro is that Momotaro is a dominant alpha who always has to be first, whilst Shabani is probably second in command to his son even though he could defeat his son with ease, he let's him be number one and is very humble and is probably one of a handful of silverbacks who would probably play with humans and have fun
Oh yeah that's funny because in one I saw last week of them all coming out, Shabani came out of the door second last!! just before Nene! LOL with not a care in the world. He's just so sweet natured.
Shabani doesn’t care if he’s first or last. He knows he’s the silverback and doesn’t sweat because the zoo provides lot of food
Kiyo also goes first most of the time if not all of the time.

Well, that was sad and a little distressing. The keepers have always treated the Shabani family well so I'm sure they had a really good reason for the brief separation.

Great video. Yes, Ai adores her Shabani. We all don't really know why she won't mate with him, but it has to be 1 of 2 reasons. She either has respect for her mother (Nene) and knows she is alpha female, or 2, with being on birth control her sex drive has decreased. Could there a 3rd reason? Hmmm.
Is she on birth control? Don't they want a baby?
It seemed more like Shabani didn’t want to go outside and wanted the others to stay inside too. He definitely didn’t like being locked out and preferred to sit on the doorstep. Was he not feeling well? Couldn’t help but notice the dump he took was very softly formed, almost liquid.

Kiyomasa is younger than Gentaro of the momotaro troop, and Gentaro hasn't been moved yet so I doubt Kiyomasa will be moved until him and his lovely father start fighting which I highly doubt.
But I think Gentaro will start fighting with his father soon sadly
