Annie is a daddy’s girl.
Annie is the only one out of all of them who never gets punished for anything.
He almost always makes sure Annie is in front of him when they come in and go out.
He doesn’t like when her and her brother play too much
(for whatever reason)
Maybe he’s afraid Kiyo will accidentally hurt her.
They clearly have a special bond.
Absolutely agree I have seen videos when Annie had to be taken away and Shabini was the only one that came to visit, he patiently won her over ❤❤❤
I love how playful Shabani is. I know most times when a Silverbacks kid becomes a silverback they start to not get along but I don't think this will ever be something that happens to Shabani and Kiyomasa. There are Troops in the wild with 4 silverback so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for them.
I sure wish the Momo family would have a jungle gym type thing, grass and trees. We see them in the exact same places every day and they are bored.

Nene is one feisty old lady. She gets riled up easily but knows when she catches Shabani there is not much she can do. He loves the chase.

I think that was just a reflexive action by Nene to a bit of mischief by pretty girl who even tried to make it up with her, although Nene wasn't interested.

what a tragedy that these magnificent animals are forced to live like this...in prisons of cement and walls and ceilings that offer no sunlight naps on the ground...no beds of leaves under the jungle sky...no climbing or spinning....no walking to a favorite food.......all because they make this penitentiary money by selling tickets to fools who think gorillas and other animals should be without their natural habitats.....raise your hand if you think these animals would rather be here or be with their fellow wild gorillas....living their life as nature intended.........
I very much agree, but they were/are also facing problems in the wild; so the issue is larger than just the zoos.

I agree with you. That being said, this zoo is much better than many others. The zoo the Momotaro family lives in comes to mind as one of the worst, in my opinion.
