Thanks Keety! Pinning the tip here. It's relatively easy to grasp actually, there are some great tutorials that span over like an hour which can be cumbersome to sit through but I could make something that's more stripped down to essentials if that would be valuable. Honestly just with this and a few more pointers you'll come a long way.
Blezz Beats I think I’m going to try it, I’ll be intrigued to see what you do with the extraction functions in the future, you check Barry Beats on the Tube? I think you and him would be a real vibe together 👍
So I'd learned to make beats on a [mumbles] copy of Abléton Livé and bought Maschine last year. Since my copy of Maschine was 100% legit and not [unintelligible muttering] I decided to learn to make beats from start to finish in Maschine. Your vids are great at getting to the point and showing actual practical solutions instead of "all you need to do is follow this handy 47 step guide to routing before changing your surname and moving your house several inches to the left". So I felt a little frivolous the other day and I grabbed a copy of Abléton Livé 10 with the 11 upgrade and suddenly I'm in the mood to integrate and get the best of both. After 2 or 3 of the aforementioned vids, I thought "hey, has Blezz done a vid on this?" and here it is - with all the right information that I need and a few nippy keyboard shortcuts thrown in. And that is my story of how Blezz saved spring break.
Awwww, my Maschine just recently fell in love with the Ableton too! Thanks for the tips. I love Maschine, but you’re right... it’s so much slower to arrange and do any “fancy ish”.
high again I bought a 2nd hand Maschine mk3 but didnt got the software of the maschine .he only has send me sounds packs . so uptill now its pretty useless . do you think if i buy another one new this one can also be opperated with the new ones software... HELP !
This is kind of how I’ve been doing it myself but you’ve got some nice quick tips and similar shortcuts in Reason. It’s overall the same process damn it NI get yo song layer tools and shit together man lol. Imagine how much better of a transition it would be to export if the tools for sequencing were better in Maschine. Dope vid you song slayer you keep killing the tutorials man!!
Thanks for watching! I do most processing in Maschine generally, when I'm done with a pattern I decide I'm done and then I might add some fx later when arranging if I feel the need to
Yo man, thanks as always for the great tips. I'm having a hard time trying to move my projects that I recorded on Maschine+ in standalone mode into my DAW. Last night I tried two things and had annoying problems with both: 1) Export groups as audio from Maschine+, put it in storage mode and drag the audio from the SD card into my DAW. - For some reason after doing this, when I try to disconnect the Maschine drive from my computer, it says it can't unmount because the drive is "being used by Logic Pro X" - Very annoying. I'm trying to copy the audio into Logic, but it seems like Logic is trying to read the audio directly off of my Maschine SD card? I tried dragging while holding option and I get the same issue. 2) Move the project I made in standalone to Maschine VST, to then use the Maschine software drag options like you did in this video. - This was also a pain. If I copy a project from my Maschine SD into my Mac, when I open the project in the Maschine software it says it cannot find the samples and recordings I used. I make most of my music by recording my instruments into Maschine audio tracks, so that's like 90% of my beats that can't be found. It seems like Maschine+ stores all my recordings for all my projects in a single "Recordings" folder, and the wav files just have the date/time of recording as the filename. So it's practically impossible for me to figure out which recordings are for which projects. I'm feeling stuck, and I don't want to have to go back to using Maschine as a Logic plugin. The standalone life is the life for me. Help me Blezz, you're my only hope.
"I gotta be honest" lol i did a double take on that... yo blezz, what about running it INSIDE of ableton? There's a button to just snap everything into the sequencer... i'll get at you about that in TBH
Hahahah a lil treat for the attentive ones! Yeah the reason I do it this way is cause I'm not a fan of running it as a plugin + its too CPU intensive for me. Always preferred the standalone software. So I just go about my day as normal and when its time to arrange I'll hwhip out the ol Live. But if theres a button that just shoots everything out from the plugin into Live I wanna see that!
@@BlezzBeats i mean im just used to having it arranged in maschine and recording it into protools or whatever. It'sbeen a while though thanks for th tips and such still.. whats up with not being able to make scenes shorter?
Set your arrange grid settings (hold shift + follow, press arrange on the top left) to less than one bar and you can make your scene virtually any length
I feel like there is a small group of US that understand the power of both of these “DAWs”. For example I hate note repeat on Push2/Abelton and I love arranging & mixing in Live
Ableton free for 90 days on their website, tempted but it’s another learning curve, great video Blezz🌚

And Ian's story is the story of how an exemplary person of human kind spend their time here on earth!
Crazy. Yesterday i thought, damn i feel caged by the maschine arrangement view. And now you drop this video.
yooo the man in the ableton club now!
Yeeah baby!
If you have an M32 Keyboard it’s super quick using the jog wheel to move around an Ableton Live project horizontally vs using Live’s shortcuts
The command while clicking and dragging in to ableton just blew my mind. Liked and subscribed!
Thanks for the support man!

Yeaah honestly I never even tried stepping into that zone until recently, so used to doing it all in Maschine since 1.0 but now I'm like.. why lol
Many thanks to Blezz. I feel more DANGERUZ every video 🙏🏽👊🏽🔥
I appreciate the support man! 👊🏻
Great tips!
Haha you're one of kind man! You crack me up...and your videos are always informative! Much respect!
Thank you man I'm happy it's of use!
woah blezz man comin in with the mojo like he didnt skip a beat!! nice video ill try all that out when i have a project that requires it! thanks man
You know how we do it mein bruder!
This is the way bro!
thanks, Eminem! 0:22
Thanks man , I needed this video … what I was doing had me getting frustrated when putting a dope beat to a different DAW
Thanks for this one, and all you do on TH-cam, bows respectfully*
Thanks for watching mr Brownie! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
thank you sah

If the software is activated you should be able to use both of them
@@BlezzBeats thx dude !
I can't wait to be able to this stuff on maschine. They've needes a normal DAW timeline for years.
Word to ma! Hopes are high for the song view!
Dope video bro, nice work 🤘
Thanks man!
Love you bro. Been missing your humor. That's my fault not yours. Needed the laughs today. Hope you're doing well!
Good to hear from you man! I'm doing good how about yourself?
'DraqQueen YouGoGirl method' now the name of all my mouse-related activities from here on in 😆
looool
Woooow meng....ammassing thankz! 👍

Hey Bro good lesson, are you have any video about what effects and plugins you use in Ableton before complete your beat and star to export ?
This is my only video on Ableton so far but I might make one ye!
@Bleez Beats - how about to inspire NI to implements Ableton Export Project SDK inside Maschine 3? There is even from thread on community site ;-)
Do you have a video on how to do this but in Logic X?
Is there a way you can go straight from the machine plus into Abelton?
5:25 what about something like that but the audio gets updated when you make an edit in maschine?
Would be nice!
Thank you for the tips. Do you add swing and edit in Maschine or mix in Ableton? Many thanks.
Thanks for watching! I do most processing in Maschine generally, when I'm done with a pattern I decide I'm done and then I might add some fx later when arranging if I feel the need to
@@BlezzBeats Thanks for your reply, videos are always helpful!

yooo is this real, what button are you guys talking bout. peace
@Chris Rapple you remember what we were talking about?
Hoping I can translate some of this to Fruity Loops. Keep up the great work my man.
Some of it you should be able to! Might make another one on that, put some some respek on this comment righ here if it would be useful
@@BlezzBeats yooo real talk I'd be so about it. FL + Maschine = DAHNJERUS
You dont open it in your daw and record th audio into it?
No that kinda defeats the purpose imo, that'd be like tracking out manually from external gear. Or what do you mean?

Next track I write is gonna be called burst party management
It is already called that, because your tracks are the future.
Ablé Ton Livé 😂
B.P.M
BEAVERS PUSHING MOPS
Yes that is another legit and verified explanation of the abreviation!
Shaolin shadow boxing
So all my patterns are drag queens 🌈👊👥
Afaik from yt videos arranging sucks in maschine realm
I think it's pretty damn smooth, but seems hard for people to wrap their head around - the learning curve is steep and it's unlike alot of other sw.
@@BlezzBeats hey thx! That sounds promising
