Hey Kage848. I started playing this around the same time you started the first video. (Played a long time ago also)
One thing I noticed about the respawn is that only a few respawn after you clear the base out. BUT (this was edited) It seems the longer you stay away from said Island, the more respawn.
Also, small tip: This, I think, is a glitch, but I was filling up my oxygen tanks holding down the "F". While holding down F, I hit tab and let go of F and it continued to fill the tanks. So I hit TAB again and as long as I was looking at the handle, it filled up the tank without me holding F. (works with any filling station)

UPDATE: 2/20/24. You can now claim Islands when cleared of enemies.
Kage, for the crossbow, you're supposed to align your target on the tip of the middle pin. Not where the three prongs cross which what you're doing and why you're missing so much
Definitely stealing your window placement idea to create defilades. I've been trying to figure out to to create good firing lines on my base and all I've come up with are watch towers that project out from the base. Looks kinda clunky. Great build, looking forward to seeing it grow.
The battery headlamp is really good now they fixed the battery drain, it's crazy good when you unlock the lithium battery.
They do respawn at midnight if you are on the island, if you go somewhere else they don't seem to respawn.
Building a settlement fortress proves a qualification of home island, great plan Kage!!
The blue print was to the left when you go up that stone walk walkway and take a right it leads you to the safes and ore while the left leads you to the print. Also the developer changed the cost of foundation during the beta the foundation where about 2-4 iron and it looks like they changed most back to 1 but forgot a few
You should play smalland: survive the wilds. It has officially released and left early access now.
Once you go in past the 1st fence to the right you can jump up the rocks instead of going up the path to fight those guys with guns and get all that ore. there is 2 safes there..
some islands they do not respawn when you have killed them all. radio islands is one of them.
Hit up the oil refinery plant. Tons of oil and copper.
Enemies respown if youre on the island durring first h of day - it was suposedly be fixed to happen even if youre not - and not all enemies respown but most of them
Ruber duck island should be close to Small rock island - quite easy enemies, cop car, iron and copper nodes
Allways rotate twice before placing walls for the "right" way
Turn on the battle music you will hear it when enemy is close to you and eventually you will find the last one enemy
Your aiming to low when they are at distance. Got to allow for drop.
Nope! The real point of aiming is the bottom reticle. Not the cross of the 3 points
Anywhere up to 5 enemy spawn at midnight if you are on an enemy island or base.
If you see that you don't hit them, just shoot without aiming. Is better!
Found it way easier to aim the crossbow without using right mouse button.
Is bullet/arrow drop a thing in this game??... it kinda seems like it...
