The gun crafting is a crap shoot. You don't know what kind of parts you're going to get and it takes forever to find the ones you need. The only gun I've been able to build so far is the bolt action rifle and the mauser pistol and i'm almost at day 50.
I love this game, such a fun game to play, and watch videos of. The only thing that sucks about tge videos is how dark it is at night, I catch myself skipping through night time play. But as a player of the game I totally understand the need for taking advantage of nighttime
This is a great game. I'm sort of waiting for another content update then revisiting it. I'm guessing this is the public test branch? I haven't played for a few weeks and saw some differences in your UI. Mine still doesn't have changes I see, but I'm on 0.1.52.
I hate to be that guy... but you're wrong about the orientation of the walls and windows. If you look closely when placing them you can kinda see the smooth side vs the overlapping side. The smooth side(good side) should face in which is the way it wants to be placed but you're spinning it around and placing the smooth side out. Look at the walls at the trader to verify what i mean. But in all honesty i doubt it matters i just wanted to make you aware. I love sunkenland definitely best survival game of 2023...after the loot respawn patch/update lol
What do you have against the aqua scooter Kage? it works fine if you use it for what its for. Its meant to get you down under the water, to cover the distance quickly; and get you back up quickly. its not built to use in buildings, or to be especially agile with. Its meant to give you more time under the water, and get you up and down in deep water quickly. and for that purpose, it works quite well, if you use it right.
The reinforced foundations and stuff that costs 1 metal give back full amounts when demolished, basically you always get at least 1 of all recources used to build something. Also for all that is holy build more furnaces.......OR ELSE!!! yadda yadda ect ect. Love your videos.
I started watching you because i play mist survival , after watching your sunkenland vid yesterday i brought the game and played 7 hours straight love it, keep that content coming
Base attacks are better in public test release for sure, I have several mini bases and no attacks. Mostly attacks where I am currently at. Plus hit points on structures are greatly increased
Base defense means less enemies encounter, good job Kage, I really appreciate your every upload in a week and can't wait to watch every sunset in the atlantic ocean
It's even more annoying when you are building with iron structures, if you mess up and replace a wall, you have even more work to do replacing other walls I am unaware of the interactions for scrap and wood, but that is a major annoyance I wish they would fix soon

dont forget the scanner thats at the store to find ore in the water.
I think you should turn them off until you get your base built out more

Kage, you always miss the washing machine (cloth) under the stairs to the left when you first enter the mansion's front door. ;)

Hey Kage, you need to get the ore detector it's the boss, I used air tanks and in 30mins I got 160 Iron Ore
I always start with 3 forges going up to five since you need so much Iron.
In the mansion there is a painting that you can get hanging from the wall and a washer under that stairs

yooo... good spot for getting cloth pretty quick are the apartments. each building has like 2-3 washing machines in them and they do respawn

you should build ur base at the trader its a great location
