Later today on FOX Sports is Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady as Giants plays the Cowboys @4:00. And later tonight on NBC its Mike Tirico and Jason Garrett for the Packers and Dolphins. And tomorrow afternoon Black Friday with Raiders and Chiefs.
Juan Roque only played 4 NFL games after that knee injury. He played 4 more for Detroit in 1999 and then released in 2000. Played 7 games in the CFL with the Argonauts. I wonder how good he could of been it he didn't hurt his knee? He seemed to be having a solid rookie season. Madden had a man crush on him apparently. 😂
This would be the first Lions thanksgiving game I attended. I remember thinking in a few years when the new downtown stadium is built, we'll be able to attend the parade and the game on the same day. Since I didnt attend another Lions game until 1999, this turn out to be the last time I saw Barry Sanders play in person.
