  • Hi folks, NatNomad here. An ex-Buddhist monk from Laos with a big dream of seeing the world. Throughout my time for over 10 years being a monk I kept asking myself one question "What life is like out there beyond the monastery?" and because of this question alone made me take a big step in 2014 when I finally said goodbye to my wonderful monastic life.
And now I'm doing what I've always wanted to do. Though I am not quite sure if I can say that I'm living my dream but you know what I'm loving my new adventure.
Please make sure to stick with me so we can explore new exotic places together.
    Let the adventure begins!
Thanks so much for your support.

Haha, many people said the same. It looks old but not old. Though it is still fun for the ride from morning market to the park. Get some view of Vientiane capital.

We were there. You are right, 30 minutes to 1 hour is plenty of time to casually stroll through the park. We went in December, so it was quiet and cool.

I think 30 minutes is probably plenty as the place isn't that big.

Loved the Buddha park. Was so hot when I went in July last year. Bus ride was an adventure too. Tried to work out how to walk across the Laos Thailand Friendship Bridge.

@@natnomad How was Luang Prabang now? (About the smoke) I have plan to go there during New Year Days 🙂 in April. One more questions I want to know, do we have a speed train from Bangkok to Luang Prabang? Many thanks for your help. Best wishes for you.

Luang Prabang is getting quiet as it's falling into the low season. But expect to be busy by the time of the Lao New Year. in terms of smoke, currently is quite bad, however we expect some rain on Saturday, so let's hope it cleans the air and the pollution.
for the train, you can take the high speed train from Vientiane capital to Luang Prabang, now you can book online ticket using LCR ticket App. the payment is accepted only UnionPay, Alipay, and Wechat for now. Visa or Mastercard will be available soon.
      Hope this help.
