- In this video I unbox the Ego Multitooo Powerhead along with the Hedgetrimmer Attatchment, the HTA2000S. The smaller variant. Much more nimble for the smaller low ground hedgetrimming.

Thanks, Great video. I wasn’t sure on the length as you just summed it up. Will get this shorter one 👍🏻
Great video mate 👍🏻 Love a smaller hedger too, nice and nimble
Thanks so much Ki! Me too! Love a nimble little trimmer me!
Looks like Christmas came early! I think the powerhead is the best tool they do. I'm thinking of picking up the backpack link soon... Save the arms a bit. Battery stuff is making more and more sense with the cost of petrol!
Thanks for watching Josh! The Battery Market is an awesome one isn't it! The multi tool is a great but of kit for sure. Another unbox coming next week!
@@mikedaygm yeah I got into the ego stuff about 7 months ago. I actually first brought the Milwaukee hedge trimmer and didn't like it so I sold it and went for the ego and have been slowly expanding since.. I sold some of my Petrol stuff as the ego has been so good. I'm glad you touched on the blade speed actually because I know the Makita and some other are like over 4,000 but knowing ego done it for a bit more torque and a strong gearbox is cool 👍🏻
Great review Mike
Thanks Robbie!
Trying to get the hedge trimmer hat 2000s ,all new to me. Thanks
Great video. I just got the Z6 mower this month and am about to order the multitool. I'm not sure on the trimmer because the standard longer one seems a bit too long but I have one hedge thats taller so I was leaning towards the short one with the extension pole for that one hedge making it a pretty long trimmer but not stupid long if I extended the standard length. My only concern is that the short trimmer has 9 positions of angle rather than the 12 of the standard one and it doesn't seem from your video to be able to go to a 90 degree angle. I was hoping to cut the tops at a 90 from the floor by using the pole upright and the trimmer set to 90. Can you confirm if it can go all the way to 90 degrees or not?
In your opinion would the battery powered hedge trimmer a well known brand beginning with H struggle with hawthorn? Im interested in what you said about greasing the unit. My well known H brand trimmer came back from dealer after repair. It now struggles to get up to speed. I think they may have used the wrong grease or over filled it. Any thoughts?
what would you say the complete weight of that unit?
Surely this isn't a mark on the good old huksy! 🤔
Its certainly got a lot more grunt! Down on rpm however.
@@mikedaygm I suspect it’s got more grunt being the multi tool power unit. Still think the husky is the flag ship In fixed shaft battery hedge trimmers. 😜🤟🏼
@@hardgraftgardenservices Yeah it's also got more grunt than the Husky Kombi unit. Yoi judt wait until Ego drop their stand alone trimmer 😉
@@hardgraftgardenservices Husky are good no doubt, but you are paying a premium just for the name IMO. I kinda like how Ego are a dedicated battery company... They do things differently and offer a great warranty. I do own husqvarna petrol stuff.
Completely agree with you mate.
