I ordered mine and I live in the UK , order from Shark website direct , ours is slightly different , E.g comes with a case and curl diffuser etc etc , but I absolutely love my shark , it’s so good for me hair ! - I have thick hair with longish hair and it’s so so good

Just based off of the final result of both and the speed run of the Dyson, I think the Shark side looked better and less frizzy even taking into consideration the length of the dyson wand. Just the actual drying process looked a little cleaner with the Shark! Definitely comparable product thank goodness
I spend a lot of time deciding between the Shark and Dyson dryers. The internet seemed to think the performance of each were very similar. I went with the Shark and I’m super happy with. I have a lot of curls and they are dense enough that the extendable prongs on the Shark’s diffuser have been a lifesaver. The size of the Shark’s diffuser is also bigger than Dysons.

I have the Shark and love it. My parts do not wobble whatsoever! I find the other attachments works best when my hair is 90% dry, and I ALWAYS use the cool shot to lock the style in place

Gotta be honest, I like it a lot. I haven’t had issues and the diffuser and paddle brush does what I need it to do. I’m not using the air wrap stuff so it’s a win for me. Only issue was with customer service for something that didn’t do with product.

Controversial opinion, I had the Dyson special edition airwrap which set me back $650. I was then gifted the Shark flexstyle that you have and loved it more then my Dyson! It’s cheaper, yes, but it has amazing airflow and the attachments work great on my hair. I sold my Dyson with all its attachments for $578 and kept the Shark. I’m happy with my decision and glad I was able to make some money back. If you have a Dyson, please try the Shark! You might be able to get some money for your Dyson and have all the benefits and more from the Shark💋
@@falconeddie4109 Mine produces room temperature air. It helps enough to cool down my hair. I’m not sure if they’ve had issues with the cool shot button. If they have, it may be select air wraps that don’t work from the factory. I’ll have to look into it, thanks for letting me know.

@@monica_toscano I have 2 sizes of the barrels and the curls hold just as well! I know it depends on your hair type etc. if curls last a while but I have straight thick hair and the beach wave, or spiral curls last all day or night. Hope this helped.

I don’t blow dry my hair often, it’s almost to my butt at the moment. I bought a Vivitar drying brush that gets hella hot! $40, CVS. It makes my hair (no product) soft, smooth, shiny and wavy! I love it. That being said, my hubby bought me the Dyson set for Christmas and I totally returned it and bought tires for my SUV😂
But i think thats damaging to your hair because i have something similar and im looking for something safer for my hair although its very effective and hot! I like the results but i know its damaging!
I have this shark and I love it. I like the round brush as I have a lot of hair so the tension and the size help a lot. But I'll definitely get a smaller version as well if they release it later on. I do not like that the cold shot does not get cool enough for me and maybe the buttons could be placed more up, but for being $350 less than the Dyson, it is a better deal IMO. Once you get used to using it (which took me probably around two weeks), you'll be satisfied!

I have it and yes I agree that round brush is very hard to run through the hair. It’s almost like that part has a special way to use. I’ve only used it a few times … tons of tutorials online that show girls doing it so effortlessly which leads me to believe it takes practice. I LOVE the curls attachment. That’s all I use.
I ordered my Dyson Airwrap the first day of Sephora’s Savings Event. Taking 20% off the price really made me buy it! Mine is the Blue Holiday Edition. (She’s so pretty!). I had looked into the Shark but, they still have a little more work to do.
I LOVE my FlexStyle because I don’t own a Dyson. Everyone who owns a Dyson hates the FlexStyle, which is reasonable considering it’s top tier. This is great for people new to air wraps wanting to give it a try. I use mine practically everyday.
i purchased the shark flex style and i think it’s so easy to use. i’ve tried the dyson before from a friend and it’s good too. I disagree with brad about the round brush that comes with the flexstyle. i think it’s great, i use it to style my bangs the most and i don’t have a problem with it pull on my hair. i would for sure recommend the flex style

The summary of your video sums up what I have heard and is why I will still hold out for something great. I have heard neither is wonderful, and they both leave something to be desired. Sigh. I'm a Shark/Ninja fanatic. I own almost everything they've put out. I was about to buy this until Malibu said it pulled her hair. I've lost enough hair from Covid, don't need something that will cause more to fall out.
So first off, I love you Brad!!!! I was thinking maybe if you use the smaller brush to kind of detangle and straighten the hair initially, THEN go in with the larger round brush to smooth you'll probably get a silkier finish without so much tension. It would be amazing if you could film a second review video trying the attachments that way!
**Looks at my ceramic brush with love** after all these years and she's still my trusty go to. Small curl, round barrel, ceramic brush. Perfect for my sometimes short sometimes longish hair. Which is currently blood red roots with vibrant Xmondo Purple on the rest. I love it.
I LOVE my Dyson. It has saved my hair from scalp psoriasis and is making it easy to style while I grow my hair from a pixie. Not to say the Shark isn't good, I still don't regret getting the air wrap two years ago. It has lasted!

I bought the Dyson and after a few days & trying every hack under the sun, I returned it. It curls nicely, and then after 30 mins the curls drop. I did the mousse, the freshly washed hair. Hairspray before and after, different ways of curling … but for 800 dollars? I shouldn’t have to figure out hacks to use it. Waiting for the shark to come back in stock !
Don’t get excited then because the shark doesn’t keep a curl either! In my opinion it is more of a volume tool or hair manipulator. The curl is fun to do but it will fall even with hair spray, mousse etc. it just isn’t meant to last like an actual heated tool.
I have a 40 yr old Conair hair stick that does the same thing with 1/2 the size and 1/10 the price and came with attachments which included diffuser, 1/4", 1/2" and 1" inch barrels, round ceramic bristle brush and rigid skeleton style paddle brush, all wrapped up in a cute (for the 80's) denim travel case, thing still works a treat. Any Dyson I have owned or used did their job really well, I just can't justify the price point.
I’ve found my hair becoming way too dry by using shark or dyson… it just feels like a hotel hair dryer which Never works on my hair. I’m sticking with my Panasonic which nobody talks about but my frizzy hair needs that to feel soft and moisture… when I leave my hair 70% dry none of this tool will work cause it becomes too heavy to wrap around! Then when it’s more dry it’s damaging my hair by taking all the water out.
Just got the flex style, I am so impressed. I love the flyaway tool because I have wavy I.e frizzy hair. It is BIG which is not my fav but I used to use the revlon brush to dry my hair and this is comparable so the tension doesn’t bother me. I feel like your girl has easy to manage hair. Mine is not so take that for what it is worth. I would love to see you have real girlies review on all hair types!!

They just seemed too...over the top maybe? I think I would be annoyed by a lot of the things you nitpicked about here as well. I do love the fact that the shark rotates for a more traditional blowdrying experience, so I'd love to see that in an, overall, more higher end feeling tool.
The UK comes in Black and Pink, with all the attachments and a case from what I have seen from the reviews, I wish the American version did. I like mine so far, I have all the attachments but have not played with all of them much yet. I am hoping that Shark comes out with an actual round brush!

Will you review the T3 air 360 (i think that's what it's called). It's another Dyson dupe for around 300 and I am trying to decide which one I should invest in.
The only person who can curl my hair is my best friend.. no hairdresser has ever managed it or myself unless it’s my big beach waver.. but my bestie is a hair guru.. she did train in college but didn’t carry it on because it was like £2.50 an hour to brush up hair.. more than aware everyone has to do that before they so much as even let you make the customer a cup of coffee. It’s a wasted talent she’s amazing.
Why didn't you use a leave-in conditioner, heat protector or styling aid? I have 2c wavy hair and no tool on earth is going to give me smooth hair without using a product - and the texture on Ms. Mannequin seems like it needs something, too. I've heard that even though the Dyson is supposed to work with other voltages, you're not supposed to use the US version in other countries; is this true with the Shark?
I've had my shark for a few weeks and it does take a bit to get a rhythm going plus with product, it's pretty amazing. It does smooth frizzy hair you just need a bit of patience.
I just got the Shark (bc calling it Flexstyle sounds funny). And am excited to use it. I also have their blow dryer and it’s amazing. I can’t imagine paying for Dyson. Their prices aren’t for everyday people.
If you want a Dyson opt for a preloved one and buy the new attachments, they fit. I went for the Shark and mine is not wobbly. The only thing I don’t like so far is positioning of the buttons.

You should test out the Sally's Ion Luxe Air styler thing. It's about the same price as this one and it's only sold at Sally's. I work there and I've wondered if it's any good.

I honestly don’t really like the Dyson either. Nothing beats the curls a curling iron gives and they LAST! Plus Dyson straight up lies saying it doesn’t cause damage bc it definitely causes more vs my iron. I could see the benefit if you struggle with mobility having this be a benefit but other than that, they are just a gimmick product.

I’ve seen absolutely dozens of reviews for this product and not a single person has had “wobbly” attachments. Maybe they weren’t attached properly?

His is “wobbling” because he doesn’t realize the direction of the wand can change. Maybe by the end he does, I’m still watching this video.
Mine has zero wobble too. It has to be slightly damp the curl properly. I think it's worth it.

I have it and yes I agree that round brush is very hard to run through the hair. It’s almost like that part has a special way to use. I’ve only used it a few times … tons of tutorials online that show girls doing it so effortlessly which leads me to believe it takes practice. I LOVE the curls attachment. That’s all I use.
I ordered my Dyson Airwrap the first day of Sephora’s Savings Event. Taking 20% off the price really made me buy it! Mine is the Blue Holiday Edition. (She’s so pretty!). I had looked into the Shark but, they still have a little more work to do.

I LOVE my FlexStyle because I don’t own a Dyson. Everyone who owns a Dyson hates the FlexStyle, which is reasonable considering it’s top tier. This is great for people new to air wraps wanting to give it a try. I use mine practically everyday.
i purchased the shark flex style and i think it’s so easy to use. i’ve tried the dyson before from a friend and it’s good too. I disagree with brad about the round brush that comes with the flexstyle. i think it’s great, i use it to style my bangs the most and i don’t have a problem with it pull on my hair. i would for sure recommend the flex style

I have been holding out on one of these. I noticed Costco has the Shark this holiday season, on sale, so thought I would do more research...because it is still $230 - on sale. The summary of your video sums up what I have heard and is why I will still hold out for something great. I have heard neither is wonderful, and they both leave something to be desired. Sigh. I'm a Shark/Ninja fanatic. I own almost everything they've put out. I was about to buy this until Malibu said it pulled her hair. I've lost enough hair from Covid, don't need something that will cause more to fall out.
So first off, I love you Brad!!!! I was thinking maybe if you use the smaller brush to kind of detangle and straighten the hair initially, THEN go in with the larger round brush to smooth you'll probably get a silkier finish without so much tension. It would be amazing if you could film a second review video trying the attachments that way!
**Looks at my ceramic brush with love** after all these years and she's still my trusty go to. Small curl, round barrel, ceramic brush. Perfect for my sometimes short sometimes longish hair. Which is currently blood red roots with vibrant Xmondo Purple on the rest. I love it.
I LOVE my Dyson. It has saved my hair from scalp psoriasis and is making it easy to style while I grow my hair from a pixie. Not to say the Shark isn't good, I still don't regret getting the air wrap two years ago. It has lasted!

I bought the Dyson and after a few days & trying every hack under the sun, I returned it. It curls nicely, and then after 30 mins the curls drop. I did the mousse, the freshly washed hair. Hairspray before and after, different ways of curling … but for 800 dollars? I shouldn’t have to figure out hacks to use it.

Don’t get excited then because the shark doesn’t keep a curl either! In my opinion it is more of a volume tool or hair manipulator. The curl is fun to do but it will fall even with hair spray, mousse etc. it just isn’t meant to last like an actual heated tool.
I have a 40 yr old Conair hair stick that does the same thing with 1/2 the size and 1/10 the price and came with attachments which included diffuser, 1/4", 1/2" and 1" inch barrels, round ceramic bristle brush and rigid skeleton style paddle brush, all wrapped up in a cute (for the 80's) denim travel case, thing still works a treat. Any Dyson I have owned or used did their job really well, I just can't justify the price point.

I’ve found my hair becoming way too dry by using shark or dyson… it just feels like a hotel hair dryer which Never works on my hair. I’m sticking with my Panasonic which nobody talks about but my frizzy hair needs that to feel soft and moisture… when I leave my hair 70% dry none of this tool will work cause it becomes too heavy to wrap around! Then when it’s more dry it’s damaging my hair by taking all the water out.
Just got the flex style, I am so impressed. I love the flyaway tool because I have wavy I.e frizzy hair. It is BIG which is not my fav but I used to use the revlon brush to dry my hair and this is comparable so the tension doesn’t bother me. I feel like your girl has easy to manage hair. Mine is not so take that for what it is worth. I would love to see you have real girlies review on all hair types!!

They just seemed too...over the top maybe? I think I would be annoyed by a lot of the things you nitpicked about here as well. I do love the fact that the shark rotates for a more traditional blowdrying experience, so I'd love to see that in an, overall, more higher end feeling tool.
The UK comes in Black and Pink, with all the attachments and a case from what I have seen from the reviews, I wish the American version did. I like mine so far, I have all the attachments but have not played with all of them much yet. I am hoping that Shark comes out with an actual round brush!

Will you review the T3 air 360 (i think that's what it's called). It's another Dyson dupe for around 300 and I am trying to decide which one I should invest in.
The only person who can curl my hair is my best friend.. no hairdresser has ever managed it or myself unless it’s my big beach waver.. but my bestie is a hair guru.. she did train in college but didn’t carry it on because it was like £2.50 an hour to brush up hair.. more than aware everyone has to do that before they so much as even let you make the customer a cup of coffee. It’s a wasted talent she’s amazing.
Why didn't you use a leave-in conditioner, heat protector or styling aid? I have 2c wavy hair and no tool on earth is going to give me smooth hair without using a product - and the texture on Ms. Mannequin seems like it needs something, too. I've heard that even though the Dyson is supposed to work with other voltages, you're not supposed to use the US version in other countries; is this true with the Shark?
I've had my shark for a few weeks and it does take a bit to get a rhythm going plus with product, it's pretty amazing. It does smooth frizzy hair you just need a bit of patience.
The FlexStyle released in September, that's why it's blown up recently... because it only just came out - not a year ago 😂
I just got the Shark (bc calling it Flexstyle sounds funny). And am excited to use it. I also have their blow dryer and it’s amazing. I can’t imagine paying for Dyson. Their prices aren’t for everyday people.
If you want a Dyson opt for a preloved one and buy the new attachments, they fit.
I went for the Shark and mine is not wobbly. The only thing I don’t like so far is positioning of the buttons.

You should test out the Sally's Ion Luxe Air styler thing. It's about the same price as this one and it's only sold at Sally's. I work there and I've wondered if it's any good.

I honestly don’t really like the Dyson either. Nothing beats the curls a curling iron gives and they LAST! Plus Dyson straight up lies saying it doesn’t cause damage bc it definitely causes more vs my iron. I could see the benefit if you struggle with mobility having this be a benefit but other than that, they are just a gimmick product.
