Tip: when I don't have a lash curler, I put on a good coat of mascara, and use a spoolie to bend/curl and hold my lashes up and hold for just like 20 30 seconds( to allow them to dry-set)....then a second coat repeat process. I believe I like that trick better than a lash curler. Have a great day!

We went to Alaska on the Bliss in July 2018 and I sat on our balcony and did my makeup too!! And I totally understand the feeling of not being able to absorb enough of the beauty! I told my friends that I’m pretty confident that Alaska is where we got “neon green”! So pure. So beautiful!!
I got that small MAC strobe cream free with something and i had no idea how to use it. I thought it was a liquid highlight, but when I saw you use it as a primer I started using it that way and I LOVE it!

I went on an Alaskan cruise a couple of summers ago and it is probably my favorite trip in the US! (Plus a bit of Canada) it’s so sad to actually see how much of the glaciers receded in recent years. I don’t remember the name of the glacier, but it’s the biggest tourist attraction one. It used to be right up against the visitor center, but now we need to walk over a mile to get to a place we can see it (and the glacier itself is much further back)
Loved this video! Would love more “get ready with me while traveling” videos because it is really helpful to see what people actually choose to travel with and what looks they do while on vacation. I love doing my makeup on vacation because I feel like I find looks that I really enjoy and have fun with.

I love the Nars concealer too. When my husband and I flew to St Lucia for our honeymoon, we spent basically the whole day in airports. I just spot concealed around my face with it instead of foundation, and it held up beautifully for 18 hours, even being in and out of several airports/planes. Foundation would’ve looked like trash after that kind of a day. Love it!

I loved the Alaskan cruise I went on! It was about 10 years ago, but it’s still my favorite vacation I’ve ever been on. We rode a helicopter onto a glacier, dog sledding, and whale watching. (My stepdad and sister did the zip line while my mom and I did whale watching) It was all so fun and beautiful
My husband’s cousin lived in Anchorage for years and we visited several times to fish. Nothing better than fresh salmon right out the Kenai River. Simply awesome!
Alaska was my favorite cruise and so glad we included a 7 day land tour too!!!! Would go back in a heartbeat! It was so nice hearing about your adventures--had to look at my photos of the glaciers :))) Have a wonderful time!

Bring a good windbreaker raincoat, comfy shoes like tennies and flip flops generally are enough. Good polarized sunglasses as we are already into almost non stop light... it has been stormy but warm... well warm to us haha

OMG, I went to Alaska last year and I am going again this June. We didn't do a cruise, we took a flight to Anchorage and ended up all the way down in Homer. 10 awesome days in Alaska, hiking, exploring, rafting, glacier tour. I love that you're doing this video while traveling.

I live in Valdez, Alaska...and you are so right about the sun. Ppl think because it’s cold they won’t get sunburnt but the sun is out longer and you will get burnt quick!
Good to see this video. Brought old memories back. Went last year to alaska on same cruise ship, norwegian bliss. And it was an awsome experience. Cant even describe in words. The scenery is so beautiful and heaven like and so peaceful, omg. Though our toddler , 2 years at the time, ruined most of our trip lol. We made few reservations which we couldnt keep because her tantrums were just not coming down. But still we were able to see a glacier up close and few other things . And yes skagway downtown was fun. All in all it was a blast. And so memorable. It was our 3rd cruise, first two were in Caribbean. So this was totally different and beautiful experience. Hope u enjoyed alot. Ofcourse u did😁seeing this video wanna make me go back again.
I went on that same cruise 9 years ago. It was AMAZING!!! I blame that trip for my newest obsession with glaciers. I seriously took over 10,000 pictures during my trip....6,000 were of glaciers alone. Lol. I can’t help it. I’m so fascinated by how beautiful and different they are.
Love this video Jessica! I’ve been on an Alaskan cruise and there’s really nothing like it. Juneau was one of my favorite places there and we went dog sledding on the Mendenhall Glacier which was so cool especially since that is my last name! Glad to see you had such a nice vacation there!
I always pack 2 foundations when traveling. When space is tight, I'll pack the full size of the one I think I'll use the most, then put a second one in a little artist's paint container. I get them at Hobby Lobby, a little container with a seperate lid, they sell them in a pack of 6 to 8. They're about the size of a film canister, hold probably about 6 times more than the little sample pots at Sephora. Doesn't take too much room but is there just in case. I've tanned up on vacation, or the full size I brought isn't performing like it should due to climate, etc. and my backup pot has saved me a few times.

I went on that same cruise 9 years ago. It was AMAZING!!! I blame that trip for my newest obsession with glaciers. I seriously took over 10,000 pictures during my trip....6,000 were of glaciers alone. Lol. I can’t help it. I’m so fascinated by how beautiful and different they are.

Love this video Jessica! I’ve been on an Alaskan cruise and there’s really nothing like it. Juneau was one of my favorite places there and we went dog sledding on the Mendenhall Glacier which was so cool especially since that is my last name! Glad to see you had such a nice vacation there!
I always pack 2 foundations when traveling. When space is tight, I'll pack the full size of the one I think I'll use the most, then put a second one in a little artist's paint container. I get them at Hobby Lobby, a little container with a seperate lid, they sell them in a pack of 6 to 8. They're about the size of a film canister, hold probably about 6 times more than the little sample pots at Sephora. Doesn't take too much room but is there just in case. I've tanned up on vacation, or the full size I brought isn't performing like it should due to climate, etc. and my backup pot has saved me a few times.

Alaska is so much fun! I think you’d love Norway - it’s wonderful to explore from a ship. Holland America is my cruise line of choice - been on 25 cruises since I was a baby and I’ve never been disappointed by HA. Thanks for the video ⚓️.
I am such a believer in that Mischa BB cream, it’s all I use daily now and apply with my fingers - it’s got SPF and it’s not full coverage but looks so nice in person, in photos, and I just love it so much on your recommendation!
Ah I did an alaskan cruise and it was astonishingly beautiful! Had a room with a balcony, too. It was the best way in the world to wake up ❤️
