Just received my bottle of gravitas and in wearing it a number of times I have to say I like this one. I get this very pleasant fresh baked bread 🥖 vibe about it that lasts a good while. Good job mrsmelly 👍👍👍 very wearable nice scent
It seems that Dan has hit the target with this one and I appreciate that he started with a clear vision of where he wanted his fragrance to be and has not been swayed into chasing "contemporary" trends or tastes. A great fragrance should not be just "of its time".
I've backed the original Gravitas Kickstarter, and really enjoyed this review as I anxiously await! I was just thinking today, w/ the campaign for Gravitas having been a success, will there be a 2nd Naugton & Wilson, and who might the nose be? Can you gents imagine a Mr. Smelly/ Manuel Cross collaboration? I think that would be wild!!!
I wouldn’t be surprise if we saw more from Naughton & Wilson. As for a Manuel Cross collaboration, I think it would be difficult to release a non IFRA fragrance in the UK
Dan must now do an oud based frag, its difficult because there are so many, I reckon he can pull it off, tbh I recently purchased my punjab friend a bottle of rasasi oud Cambodia, it was on offer, cost him about £200 , normally its about £300, I must honestly say that it's friccking beautiful for the money,
I got a whiff of kouros when it first landed on me skin before it calmed down and became sweeter. I really like this style the in between boardroom and casual day fragrance. I'll be purchasing a bottle plus the bottle looks cool 😂
75 pounds for 100ml extrait is very good value (with decent ingredients). Have you tried Zaharoff pour homme? It has a similar idea...sort of like a 80/90s profile remade with today's ingredients.
Where are you located? If you are based in the UK I would recommend ordering a bottle from Geo. F Trumper directly. They also sell small sample vials if you would like to try the fragrance before committing to buying a full bottle.

No. We mentioned his ‘Oud’ in our Oud list, which we really enjoyed. As for the rest, we didn’t enjoy them all that much
