5 minutes in I think the defendants forgot to check that little box that says “shipping address is different than billing address” which led to the problem of it not arriving in Chicago but it also seems given the proof that the grandmother signed for the package. Inconvenient - yes, but the defendants easily could’ve asked the grandmother to ship it to them from Texas.
Oh yes! I have done that before. With my amazon account. During lock down I sent gifts to my sons home and my daughters home. Then I needed to order something and totally forgot to check which address it was under(amazon keeps a list of the addresses you ship to) Luckily it was a close family member and my hubby drove over and grabbed the package that afternoon but it could have ended up way across the country to my son at the time. 😮
