First off, may the fallen officer rest in peace, and the injured officer have a fast recovery. That being said, the dispatchers did a fantastic job with the situation at hand; they really performed under stress.
The original dispatcher needs a kick in the arse, that was really poorly managed. NYPD are terrible for cutting each other off on the radio, really shambolic radio protocols.
Did you hear how many shots were fired for a robber with a fake gun and could not fire at the cops. Lucky only cops shot themselves and not an innocent citizen as in most cases.
OMG, friendly fire, from uniform officers to plain clothes detective squad. Squad was first on scene working in the area nearby, and entered before uniform. Detective clothes matched the clothing description of the perp.
Smh so many times the have to transfer wanded Mos with thier squad cars... Takes way to long for FDNY ems to arrive. No disrespect towards to the ems, but when a Mos is down there should be a ambo right away

Alot of people are becoming cops only for the Pay. That's what happen NYPD 60 College Credits. Instead Real Training T Mobile store has Cameras also Street Cameras. Need to be checked to see what happen here
Sadly, I concur with your statement. Streetwise, intelligent high school grads were far more better cops than a cop with college credits in basket weaving or interpretive dance. They are so clueless now. Years ago they would be suspended for having a cell phone on patrol. Now they look like nitwits and zombies on department issued phones with a totally unprofessional look with unkempt hair and beard styles.

Procedure when a MOS gets shot, certain things are pre-planned with the hospital, like blood donation from fellow cops, family room...ect

We usually don’t use codes to signify we’re going, we only use codes for on scene, which is 10-84 (we just say 84).
